Salesforce Service Cloud (referred to as Agentforce Service in parts of Salesforce's help documentation) is a customer-service platform billed per user per month. If you manage support agents and want to pay for a subscription using a Coinepay virtual card, this guide walks through what you need, how the Salesforce order and billing flow works, and how to troubleshoot a declined payment. Prices and plan availability vary by region, so always confirm the current figures on Salesforce's official pricing page before you buy.

Before you start: what you need

To complete a Salesforce Service Cloud purchase smoothly, have the following ready:

  • A Coinepay account with a virtual card issued (card number, expiry date and CVV) and enough balance to cover the first charge. Create one at the Coinepay registration page and finish identity verification (KYC) first.
  • Your real billing address exactly as it is registered to your Coinepay card. Salesforce stores a billing address on the contract, and a mismatch is a common decline cause.
  • A Trailblazer Account if you intend to manage billing in Salesforce's Billing Portal, since portal access requires you to be listed as a contact on the relevant contract.
  • The Coinepay app on iOS or Google Play so you can check your balance, view the card details and approve any 3-D Secure confirmation.

Choose the right Service Cloud plan

Salesforce's current service pricing page lists Starter Suite, Pro Suite, Core, Advanced and Max. As of October 2026, U.S. list prices seen were Starter $25, Pro $100, Core $195, Advanced $395 and Max $550 per user per month, with regional equivalents such as £20/£80/£156/£316/£440 in the UK and €25/€100/€195/€395/€550 in the EU. These change and differ by country, so check the official Salesforce pricing page for your region before committing.

Billing terms also differ by tier. Starter's published price allows monthly or annual billing; Pro requires a contract and annual billing; and Core, Advanced and Max are shown as billed annually. Starter and Pro also note that transaction fees may apply. Because annual tiers commit you to a term, confirm the quantity of licenses and the total before you reach checkout.

Option 1: Start with the free trial

Salesforce advertises a 30-day Service Cloud trial with no credit card required. You begin it by completing Salesforce's trial form. A trial without submitted billing information expires automatically, so this is a low-risk way to confirm the product fits your team before you enter any card. When you are ready to pay, you convert the trial to a paid subscription and add your payment details at that point.

Option 2: Buy or add licenses from Your Account

If you already have a Salesforce organization and an administrator role, you can purchase additional licenses yourself. The typical path is:

  1. Open Your Account in your Salesforce org.
  2. Go to Browse & Buy and select the relevant contract.
  3. Choose Manage Your Products, set the quantity you need, and add it to the cart.
  4. Select Check Out, then review the payment and signature details.

The order form specifies the products, quantities and prices and acts as your order of record. Review it carefully, because purchased-term payment obligations generally cannot be canceled and quantities usually cannot be reduced mid-term unless the order form says otherwise.

Enter your Coinepay card details

At the payment step, open the Coinepay app, copy your virtual card number, expiry and CVV, and enter them in the Salesforce checkout. Enter the billing address that matches your Coinepay card. After buying, you can review stored card details, the billing address and the primary billing contact under Contracts at https://billing.salesforce.com. Note that editing stored card details in the portal is not the same as changing the contract's payment method; Salesforce directs payment-method changes to its Customer Service team.

Important restriction: Salesforce states that prepaid cards are not supported when upgrading a Free Suite or trial organization to a paid account. If your checkout falls under that rule, your card must meet the requirement. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card is suitable before you attempt the upgrade, rather than assuming it will be accepted.

Paying an invoice with Pay Now

Some charges are handled through invoices rather than an instant card charge. In the Billing Portal, open Invoices to download invoices and pay eligible ones using the Pay Now button. If an invoice has no Pay Now option, it must be paid according to the instructions printed on that invoice. Make sure your Coinepay card has sufficient balance in the app before you select Pay Now.

Troubleshooting a declined card

If Salesforce rejects your payment, work through the most common causes below. Salesforce's separate Revenue Cloud Billing documentation groups payment failures into categories—insufficient funds or card limits, invalid details, security checks, gateway connection and processing errors—which are useful signposts even though they are not confirmed as the exact Service Cloud checkout messages.

Insufficient balance or limit

Open the Coinepay app and confirm your available balance covers the full charge, including any applicable transaction fees and the annual total for yearly tiers. Top up and retry if needed. Remember annual plans charge the whole term at once, which is a larger amount than the monthly figure shown.

Billing address mismatch

If the address on the Salesforce contract does not match the address registered to your Coinepay card, the payment can fail an address verification check. Correct the billing address under Contracts so it matches your Coinepay records exactly, then try again.

3-D Secure confirmation

A payment may need a 3-D Secure (3DS) step. Keep the Coinepay app open and approve the confirmation prompt promptly. If you miss it, restart the checkout and complete the approval when asked.

"Session Timed Out" after entering payment

Salesforce has reported a Session Timed Out error on upgrade when a browser blocks third-party cookies. Enable third-party cookies for the Salesforce checkout, refresh the page and re-enter your details.

Card-type or region checks

Salesforce does not publish a single confirmed list of accepted card networks for Service Cloud subscription checkout, and edition availability can vary by region. Note too that Salesforce prohibits use of its products in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, and the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, among other export restrictions. If your card is declined and balance, address and 3DS all look correct, contact Coinepay support to check the transaction on your side, and contact Salesforce's billing team for anything specific to your contract.

After you subscribe: renewals and cancellation

Unless an order form states otherwise, Salesforce subscriptions renew for one-year terms automatically unless written notice is given at least 30 days before the term ends. For eligible contracts, the Billing Portal has allowed turning off auto-renew under Contracts between 90 and 7 days before the contract end since November 14, 2025; otherwise Salesforce says to contact your account executive. Check your order-form and notice requirements rather than assuming the toggle cancels the current term. Paid fees are generally nonrefundable, so make sure your Coinepay card has enough balance ahead of each renewal to avoid a failed charge.

FAQ

Can I pay for Salesforce Service Cloud with a Coinepay virtual card?

You can enter a Coinepay virtual card at the Salesforce checkout like any other card. However, Salesforce says prepaid cards are not supported when upgrading a Free Suite or trial organization to a paid account, so contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets that requirement before you buy.

How much does Salesforce Service Cloud cost?

Salesforce lists Starter, Pro, Core, Advanced and Max tiers priced per user per month, and prices differ by region and billing term. In the U.S. in October 2026 they ranged from $25 for Starter to $550 for Max, but you should check Salesforce's official pricing page for your region before buying.

Do I need a credit card to start the Service Cloud trial?

No. Salesforce advertises a 30-day Service Cloud trial with no credit card required, started by completing its trial form. A trial without submitted billing information expires automatically, so you only add card details when you convert to a paid subscription.

My card was declined at checkout. What should I check first?

Confirm your Coinepay balance covers the full charge (annual tiers bill the whole year at once), make sure the Salesforce billing address matches your card, approve any 3-D Secure prompt in the Coinepay app, and enable third-party cookies if you see a Session Timed Out error. If it still fails, contact Coinepay support.

Where do I manage my Salesforce billing details and invoices?

Billing settings are at billing.salesforce.com. Use Contracts for the billing address and card details, Manage Users for billing contacts, and Invoices to download and pay eligible invoices with Pay Now. Changing a contract's payment method is handled by Salesforce Customer Service, not the stored-card editor.
