Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is a workplace wellbeing platform that gives eligible employees access to gyms, studios, and wellness apps through tiered monthly plans. If your subscription tier carries a fee, you pay for it with a card on file. This guide explains how to set up a Coinepay virtual card, add it in Wellhub, complete checkout, and troubleshoot a declined payment.
Before you start: what you need
Wellhub is offered through a participating company or provider rather than as an open, individual sign-up. You will need to be eligible through your employer and to verify the information your company uses to identify you when you create your app account. Before you reach checkout, make sure you have:
- An active Wellhub account created through your employer's program, with your identity verified.
- A Coinepay account that has completed identity verification (KYC). You can register here and finish verification in the app.
- A funded Coinepay virtual card, with its card number, expiry date and CVV. Coinepay issues these details instantly in the dashboard and mobile app.
- Your real billing details (name and billing address) matching your Coinepay card profile.
Note that Wellhub lists credit cards, debit cards and Apple Pay as payment methods. Whether a particular card network or a virtual card is accepted for your account is something only Wellhub can confirm. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets any requirement before you buy, and check acceptance inside the Wellhub app.
Wellhub plans and prices
Plan names and prices vary by country, and the price you see at enrollment depends on your employer's arrangement. The figures below are public "starting at" monthly prices at the time of writing (October 2026); always confirm the current price on the official Wellhub plans and pricing page and at checkout.
| Region | Example tiers (monthly, starting at) |
|---|---|
| United States | Digital $0; Starter $11.99; Starter+ $26.99; Basic $37.99; Bronze $64.99; Silver $109.99; Gold $214.99; Diamond $344.99 |
| United Kingdom | Digital £0; Starter £9.99; Basic £19.99; Bronze £34.99; Silver £49.99; Gold £89.99; Diamond £199.99 |
| Brazil | Digital R$0; Starter R$39.99; Basic R$69.99; Silver R$149.99; Gold R$319.99; Diamond R$699.99 |
| Mexico | Digital MX$0; Basic MX$154.90; Silver MX$569.90; Gold MX$999.90; Diamond MX$2,399.90 |
Wellhub also offers an annual, 12-month commitment billed monthly in several countries (introduced in January 2026). If you choose that option, read the annual terms presented at checkout, because early-cancellation conditions differ from the month-to-month plan.
One useful change: since May 2026, employer-provided plans supplied at $0.00 no longer require billing information or a card at activation. You only need a payment method when your chosen tier has a fee.
Step 1: Create your Coinepay virtual card
- Sign in to the Coinepay dashboard or open the app for iOS or Android.
- Complete KYC if you have not already. Card services require verification.
- Create a virtual card and note the card number, expiry date and CVV.
- Add funds so the balance comfortably covers your Wellhub plan price plus any currency conversion. Wellhub subscriptions are prepaid and recurring, so keep a buffer for each monthly charge.
Card issuance and fund services at Coinepay are provided by licensed partner financial institutions. Services related to virtual assets are not available to residents of mainland China, and some services are not available in every jurisdiction.
Step 2: Sign in and choose your Wellhub plan
- Open the Wellhub app and sign in to the account created through your employer.
- Browse the available plans and select the tier that fits how you want to train.
- Choose Monthly or, where offered, Annual.
The exact button sequence can change as Wellhub updates its app, so follow the on-screen prompts if they differ from the order described here.
Step 3: Add your Coinepay card and confirm
- When prompted for a payment method, enter your Coinepay card number, expiry date and CVV.
- Enter the billing name and address exactly as they appear on your Coinepay profile.
- Review the plan, billing cycle and total, then confirm the subscription.
To manage a saved card later, the account area typically lives under Profile → Settings → Account → Payments → Payment Method, with past charges under Payments → Billing history. Menu labels may vary by app version and region.
How Wellhub billing works
Monthly subscriptions are charged on the purchase-and-activation date and then on that same date each month, continuing until you pause or cancel. Payments are prepaid, and the billing date cannot be changed. Because this is a recurring charge, keep your Coinepay card funded ahead of each renewal.
Wellhub's own guidance advises against using temporary virtual cards for recurring payments, since a card that changes or expires will break the next renewal. If you use Coinepay for Wellhub, use a stable card you intend to keep and keep it funded.
Troubleshooting a declined Wellhub payment
Wellhub's support guidance points to a handful of common causes. Work through these in order.
Insufficient balance
The most frequent cause is insufficient funds or available credit. Check your Coinepay card balance and top it up so it covers the plan price plus any conversion, then retry. Wellhub advises contacting your card issuer if funds are available but the charge still fails.
Billing address mismatch
If the billing name or address you entered does not match your card records, the charge can be rejected. Re-enter them exactly as they appear in your Coinepay profile. Use your real details only.
3-D Secure / authentication
Some charges require an extra authentication step. Watch for a confirmation prompt from Coinepay in the app or by message when you submit the payment, and approve it promptly so the charge can go through.
Card type or network checks
Credit and debit are confirmed Wellhub categories, but acceptance of specific networks and of prepaid or virtual cards is not something the research confirms. If your card is declined at the network level, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card details, and confirm acceptance with Wellhub.
Region and eligibility
In-person gym and studio access is ordinarily limited to your country of registration; international check-ins exist only where your employer enables them. A separate issue is payroll-deduction eligibility: if you were paying via payroll deduction and lose eligibility, you will need a new eligible payment method. For US accounts, Wellhub's terms require a new eligible method if the one on file is declined.
Failed renewal
If a renewal charge fails, Wellhub may retry the payment and suspend access while the balance is unpaid. To avoid interruption, fund your Coinepay card before the billing date and update the card on file if it has changed.
Cancellation and refunds
For US monthly plans, you can cancel in the platform, but Wellhub's terms say to cancel at least three business days before the billing date to avoid the next charge; access continues until the next billing date. Subscription fees are generally nonrefundable, and cancellation does not create a prorated refund except where law requires. Sponsor-specific and annual terms may add their own conditions, so read the terms shown at checkout.

FAQ
Can I sign up for Wellhub on my own with a Coinepay card?
Wellhub is offered through a participating company or provider, not as an open individual sign-up. You need to be eligible through your employer and verify your identifying information before you can activate a plan and add a card.
Does Wellhub accept virtual or prepaid cards?
Wellhub lists credit cards, debit cards and Apple Pay. Whether a specific network or a virtual/prepaid card is accepted is not confirmed, and Wellhub advises against temporary virtual cards for recurring payments. Confirm acceptance in the Wellhub app and ask Coinepay support to confirm your card details.
Why was my Coinepay card declined at Wellhub?
Common causes are insufficient balance, a billing address that doesn't match your card, an unapproved 3-D Secure prompt, or a network-level card check. Top up your card, re-enter your real billing details, approve any authentication, and if it still fails contact Coinepay support.
When does Wellhub charge my card?
Monthly plans are prepaid and charge on your purchase-and-activation date, then on that same date each month until you pause or cancel. The billing date cannot be changed, so keep your card funded ahead of each renewal.
Do free Wellhub plans need a card?
No. Since May 2026, employer-provided plans supplied at $0.00 no longer require billing information or a card at activation. You only need a payment method when your chosen tier has a fee.
