You can use a Coinepay virtual card to attempt a website purchase of AVG Ultimate. Before paying, check which Ultimate bundle fits your devices, review the price and renewal terms shown for your region, and make sure your card is ready for the full checkout amount. This guide covers AVG’s website checkout, common reasons a card payment may fail, and where to manage the subscription afterward.
Choose the right AVG Ultimate subscription
AVG uses similar names for subscriptions with different device coverage. Confirm the exact product on AVG’s regional store and again at checkout:
- AVG Ultimate (Multi-Device) covers up to 10 Windows, Mac, Android or iOS devices.
- AVG Windows Ultimate is for one Windows device.
- AVG Mobile Ultimate covers up to five Android devices.
These are distinct subscriptions, not three tiers you should expect to see together on every store page. Also, AVG Mobile Security Ultimate is a separate iOS App Store subscription tier that adds VPN to the iOS app; it is not the multi-device Ultimate bundle. If you intend to pay on AVG’s website with your virtual card, check that you have selected the website offer rather than an in-app subscription.
As a price reference, AVG’s US store displayed a 10-device, one-year AVG Ultimate offer at US$59.88 for the first year, with a stated US$149.99 yearly renewal price, at the time of writing (October 2026). Those were displayed offer prices, not a verified final checkout total. Prices and available offers vary by region; check AVG’s official store and the final checkout screen for your current price, any applicable tax, and the subsequent subscription price. Introductory discounts apply only to the first subscription period.
What you need before checkout
- A Coinepay account and verified identity. Register through Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions.
- Your virtual card details. Coinepay issues a card number, expiry date and CVV instantly. Find them in the Coinepay app or 24/7 self-service dashboard when you are ready to enter them.
- Enough available funds. Check the amount due at AVG’s checkout, including any tax shown there. Check your available card funds and any relevant card settings in Coinepay before submitting payment; for details specific to your card, contact Coinepay support.
- Your real purchase details. Use an email address you can access, your real identity and accurate billing information. Choose the AVG store appropriate to your actual location; do not change your stated location to work around a regional or payment restriction.
AVG says it creates an AVG account automatically using the email supplied for a website purchase. That purchase email becomes the account login, so check it carefully before paying. Keep access to it for receipts, subscription management and payment-related messages.
How to pay for AVG Ultimate with your Coinepay card
- Open AVG’s official regional store. Find the AVG Ultimate offer for the devices you want to protect. If you need the multi-device bundle, verify that the order identifies AVG Ultimate (Multi-Device) or the corresponding 10-device offer, rather than a Windows-only or Android-only subscription.
- Start the purchase. Select the offer’s Buy now or Subscribe now button. Store layouts may differ by region, so follow the labels displayed in your checkout rather than assuming every screen has the same fields.
- Review the order. Check the subscription name, device coverage, initial charge, renewal price, billing period and any tax displayed before you commit. AVG website subscriptions renew unless canceled before the billing date.
- Enter your email and accurate billing details. Use your own information. If checkout asks for a billing address, enter your real address and make sure it matches the details associated with your payment method where applicable.
- Select a card payment option if offered. Enter the Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV as shown in your Coinepay account. Complete any additional payment-verification step that appears; do not assume one will always be required.
- Confirm only after a final review. AVG’s purchase terms identify Agree & Buy as the action that confirms a paid subscription. Check the final amount and terms on that screen before selecting it. Then look for AVG’s confirmation and check the inbox for your purchase email.
Card availability and approval depend on the checkout and its payment checks. If the card option is unavailable or the payment fails, do not treat a submitted form alone as proof of purchase. Check your AVG account and purchase email before attempting another order.
If AVG says “Payment failed” or your card is declined
AVG documents “Payment failed” as a payment-problem category, but that label does not identify a specific cause. Work through these checks instead of repeatedly submitting the same details:
- Insufficient available funds: Compare the available card funds with the final amount AVG presents, including any tax. Resolve a shortfall in Coinepay before retrying. If a charge appears but the order is unclear, check AVG’s Order history and contact support rather than immediately paying again.
- Billing-detail mismatch: Recheck the card number, expiry date and CVV, then correct any mistyped name, address or postal code. Use genuine billing information. If your details have changed, ask Coinepay support how to update the information associated with your card.
- 3-D Secure or another verification step: If checkout requests authentication, follow the instructions shown and complete it without closing the payment window. If the prompt fails to appear, expires or reports an error, check the Coinepay app for relevant payment information and contact Coinepay support. A verification issue is a possibility, not a diagnosis of every declined payment.
- Merchant region or payment checks: Confirm that you are using the AVG store for your actual region and that your billing details are consistent. A merchant may apply checks that prevent a transaction even when the card details are correct. Ask AVG about the failed checkout and Coinepay support about your card; neither approval nor acceptance of a particular virtual card can be assumed.
For a failed standalone purchase, AVG suggests trying another card or another available payment method. For a failed renewal, it recommends updating the card details. If you see an uncertain payment status, compare your AVG account and receipt with your Coinepay transaction activity first. Give support the date, amount and any error displayed, but do not send your full card number or CVV in an ordinary message.
Manage renewal, payment details and refunds
For a subscription bought on AVG’s website, sign in at id.avg.com/sign-in → My subscriptions → Manage subscriptions. There you can check the next payment date and payment method, choose Update payment card, or manage renewal for an individual subscription. In My subscriptions, use Unsubscribe/Cancel renewal before the billing date if you do not want the website subscription to renew. Check that the cancellation is reflected in your account. Canceling normally leaves paid access in place through the current period; it does not, by itself, refund unused time.
Do not wait until the anniversary of an annual subscription to check its payment date: AVG says its annual renewal charge can occur up to 35 days before the next period starts, and that it sends an advance reminder. Keep sufficient funds available if you want to renew with the same card. If a renewal payment fails, AVG may retry a pending payment for up to 14 days after expiry. Website billing controls do not replace Apple App Store or Google Play cancellation steps for subscriptions purchased through those stores.
AVG places invoices and refund requests under Order history. Qualifying consumer subscriptions purchased on AVG’s website have a 30-day full-refund request window; eligibility and the applicable policy matter. AVG’s published policy also provides certain additional prorated-refund rights in Germany, the Netherlands, the UK and Quebec, depending on the case. Review AVG’s policy or contact AVG Support if you are unsure whether a particular charge qualifies.
Check regional availability before buying
AVG says sales and use of its products and services are unavailable in Russia and Belarus. It also says Ultimate’s VPN features cannot be used while physically in India; that feature restriction is not, by itself, a statement that the bundle cannot be purchased there. Check AVG’s current product and feature terms for your location before paying. Coinepay services also vary by jurisdiction and are subject to applicable restrictions.
