You can enter a Coinepay virtual card at Viki’s web checkout when subscribing to Viki Pass. Before you start, check the plans available in your region, make sure your card has enough funds for the amount shown at checkout, and use your real billing details. This guide covers web billing, where Viki lets you manage the card directly in your Viki account.
What you need before subscribing
- A Viki account: Create one or sign in with the account you want to use for streaming.
- A Coinepay virtual card: Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Your virtual card provides a card number, expiry date and CVV, which you can find in the Coinepay app or self-service dashboard.
- Enough available funds: Check the full checkout amount, including any applicable tax. Leave room for a possible currency-conversion or international-transaction charge if one applies to your payment.
- Your real billing information: Enter the name and billing address associated with your card. Do not substitute an address from another country to try to access a plan or title.
If you have not set up Coinepay, you can register here. Check the Coinepay app or contact support if you need to confirm a card detail or an applicable charge before subscribing.
Choose the right Viki Pass plan and billing route
Viki’s paid tiers are Viki Pass Standard and Viki Pass Plus, each with monthly and annual billing options where offered. Standard allows one simultaneous stream at up to 720p. Plus allows up to four simultaneous streams at up to 1080p and offers offline viewing for selected titles, subject to availability. Check Viki’s official Pass page for the options and current prices displayed in your region; the applicable price and currency appear at checkout, and local tax may be added.
Plus is available only in selected regions. A Pass subscription also does not remove geographic licensing restrictions from individual shows or movies. If you are subscribing for a particular drama or anime title, check its availability in your region before paying. Viki says its services and subscriptions remain suspended in Russia.
Use Viki’s website for the web-card steps below. Purchases made in the iOS app, Android app or on Roku are billed through Apple, Google Play or Roku, respectively. Their payment screens and card-management steps differ from a Viki web purchase; Roku sign-up offers Plus Monthly only.
How to subscribe on Viki’s website
- Prepare your card. In the Coinepay app or dashboard, locate your virtual card number, expiry date and CVV. Check the available funds against the amount you expect to pay.
- Sign in to Viki. Go to Viki’s website and create an account or sign in to your existing one. Make sure it is the account on which you want the subscription.
- Open the Pass page. Visit viki.com/pass and choose Viki Pass Standard or Viki Pass Plus, if the tier is offered to you. Select monthly or annual billing, then confirm your plan selection.
- Enter the payment method. Choose the card-payment option and enter the Coinepay card details requested at checkout. Supply your real name and matching billing details. Viki lists several accepted card categories and brands for website payments, but that list does not establish whether any particular Coinepay card will be accepted.
- Review before you pay. Check the tier, billing cycle, currency, total and any tax displayed. When everything is correct, select Confirm. Follow any payment-verification prompt that appears; do not submit the payment repeatedly while a verification is pending.
- Check the result. Viki displays a confirmation after a successful subscription and emails a receipt. Save the receipt and check that the subscription appears on the Viki account you intended to use.
Availability and final pricing depend on the region and checkout. Do not rely on a previously advertised promotion as your current price: Viki’s September–October 2026 LG promotion has ended. If the total differs from what you expected, review it before selecting Confirm.
Why was my Viki Pass card payment declined?
A decline does not, by itself, identify the cause. Check Viki’s checkout details and your Coinepay card information before trying again. These are common issues to investigate:
Insufficient available funds
Compare your available funds with Viki’s final checkout total, not just an advertised subscription price. Tax may increase that total, and a currency-conversion or international-transaction charge may apply. If funds are insufficient, add funds using the options available in your Coinepay account or choose a plan you can cover, then retry once the funds are available.
Card or billing details do not match
Recheck every digit of the card number, the expiry date and CVV. Make sure your name, billing address and country are accurate and consistent with the card’s billing details. Viki identifies mismatched card or billing information as a possible reason for failure. Use your genuine details; changing your country or entering a made-up address is not a fix.
A payment-authentication prompt was not completed
If checkout opens a 3-D Secure or other card-verification challenge, complete it using the instructions shown. If the prompt closes, times out or never becomes usable, check whether your device or browser is blocking the verification window, then try again without repeatedly submitting the charge. If you need help understanding a card-authentication request, contact Coinepay support and describe what you saw. Do not share your CVV or verification codes in a support message.
Cross-border or merchant region checks
Viki lists cross-border card restrictions and issuer blocks among possible reasons for declined web payments. The website also publishes accepted card categories and brands; in Brazil, Viki says American Express is not supported for website payments. If checkout indicates a card-type, card-country or regional requirement, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets that requirement before you buy. Do not assume that the availability of a Viki plan means your particular card will pass every merchant check.
Some debit cards requiring a PIN may also fail in Viki’s web checkout. If a decline persists after you have checked the amount and details, note the time and any message displayed, then contact Coinepay support about the card payment or Viki support about the checkout. Avoid sending either team a full card number, CVV or password.
Manage, update or cancel a web-billed subscription
On Viki’s website, open your profile → Account Settings → Subscription. This page shows your plan, billing platform and payment method. If Viki bills you directly on the web, select Payment method → Update to change the card used for future payments. First check the billing platform shown there: a subscription billed by Apple, Google Play or Roku must have its payment details managed through that platform instead.
Viki Pass renews automatically. For a web purchase, go to Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel plan to stop renewal; access continues through the paid term. Viki recommends making subscription changes at least two days before renewal. Its payments are generally nonrefundable except where its agreement says otherwise or applicable law requires it, and it says unused subscriptions and late cancellations are not refunded. Viki reviews web and Google Play refund requests case by case; Apple and Roku purchasers must seek refunds through those platforms. If you cancel, switch plans or lose a subscription after a failed payment, check the price shown before subscribing again because the current price may differ from your previous one.
Get help with the Coinepay card
You can manage your card from Coinepay’s 24/7 self-service dashboard or its mobile app for iOS and Android. If Viki’s checkout raises a card-specific question, check your card details and available funds in the app, then ask Coinepay support for help. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions; service availability may vary by jurisdiction.
