Paying for Mitel is usually a business purchasing process, not a matter of choosing a plan on a public checkout page. This guide focuses on MiVoice Business Subscription: how to request the right order, ask whether your seller accepts a Coinepay virtual card, and handle a payment that does not go through. Your Mitel order or authorized partner’s instructions determine how you actually pay.
Know which Mitel product you are buying
Mitel sells several business communications products, and their ordering and billing arrangements can differ. MiVoice Business can be purchased through a perpetual license or a subscription. Its documented Subscription Ed.2 user tiers are MiVB Telephony (Ed.2), MiVB Entry (Ed.2), MiVB Premier (Ed.2), and MiVB Elite CX (Ed.2). Ask Mitel or an authorized partner which tier and deployment fit your organization, and request a scoped quote covering your user count and any add-ons. Check Mitel’s official product and pricing information for current details rather than assuming that a tier has a standard public checkout price.
This guide does not treat older MiCloud products as new-customer subscription options. MiCloud Connect reached end of sale in June 2022. MiCloud Flex Retail and Partner Delivered reached end of sale in June 2022, and its Wholesale offering reached end of sale in December 2023. If you already have a Flex account, use the billing instructions for that account; do not assume they apply to a new MiVoice Business Subscription order.
What you need before paying
- A confirmed Mitel order: Identify the legal business purchasing the service, the product and tier, the number of users, the deployment, and the selling entity. Ask for the applicable order, payment instructions, and terms.
- Confirmation that your seller can take a card: Ask Mitel or its authorized partner whether card payment is available for this particular order, whether a virtual card is eligible, and how you should submit payment. Do this before putting funds on a card for the purchase. A request for a quote or a purchase order is not itself a card checkout.
- Accurate billing information: Have the real legal name and billing address requested by the seller. Use the details associated with your card and business records; do not substitute an address from another region to try to pass a payment check.
- A ready Coinepay account: Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. You can manage your card through the 24/7 self-service dashboard or the Coinepay app for iOS and Android. Coinepay issues virtual cards with a card number, expiry date, and CVV.
Review the amount and billing schedule in the seller’s quote or invoice. Check your available card funds in Coinepay and allow for the amount the seller will attempt to charge. If you need to confirm a card limit or another account-specific requirement, check the app or contact Coinepay support. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions, and some Coinepay services are not available in every jurisdiction.
How to order MiVoice Business Subscription and pay by card
- Start with Mitel or an authorized partner. Tell the seller that you want a MiVoice Business Subscription quote. Give them your actual organization details, location, expected user count, and requirements so they can identify the appropriate subscription tier and order terms.
- Review the proposed order. Verify whether it specifies MiVB Telephony (Ed.2), MiVB Entry (Ed.2), MiVB Premier (Ed.2), MiVB Elite CX (Ed.2), or a different product. Confirm the billing entity, charges, payment schedule, deployment, and any add-ons before accepting. Ask which terms govern changes, termination, and refunds.
- Confirm the payment route. Ask the selling entity whether it accepts your Coinepay virtual card for this order and whether payment will be collected through its invoice process or another instructed channel. If it has card-type, card-country, or billing-region requirements, contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets them before you buy. Do not assume that a card accepted for another online service will be accepted for this Mitel order.
- Prepare the card. Once the seller confirms a card payment route, open your Coinepay dashboard or app, check your available funds and account details, and retrieve the virtual card number, expiry date, and CVV. Keep these details private and enter them only through the payment channel the seller has identified.
- Complete the seller’s payment instructions. Enter the requested card and genuine billing details, check the amount, and complete any authentication prompt that appears. Save the resulting invoice, receipt, or order confirmation. If the seller instead requires another payment method, request its approved alternatives rather than attempting to force a card transaction.
- Finish account setup when invited. For CloudLink accounts, a Mitel partner creates the customer account and adds users. Invited users then complete registration using a verification email and set a password. That registration email is part of account access; it is not proof that a card charge has been completed.
Mitel administration documentation shows purchased orders under Billing → Orders and assigned licenses under Billing → Subscriptions. Those views can help an authorized administrator check what has been ordered and assigned. They are not instructions for adding or editing a payment card. For payment changes or an invoice question, follow the process provided by the entity that billed you.
If your card payment is declined
A failed attempt does not, by itself, identify which party rejected the payment. Record the message shown, the attempted amount and time, and the seller or invoice reference. Avoid sending your full card number or CVV in an email or support message. Then check the possibilities below before trying again.
Insufficient available funds
Compare the attempted charge with the available funds shown in Coinepay, not just the amount you expected from the quote. Check whether the seller is charging an invoice amount you recognize. If the amount is unclear, ask the seller for a breakdown; if your available funds or a card limit is unclear, check the Coinepay app or contact support. Retry only after the amount and available funds are resolved.
Billing details do not match
Compare the name and billing address entered at payment with the real details associated with your card and the information requested for the business order. Correct typing errors or ask the seller how its payment form expects an organization name and address. Do not change countries or invent billing details to make a transaction appear eligible.
3-D Secure or another authentication step fails
If a verification prompt appears, complete it within the time allowed and return to the seller’s payment page to check the result. If it closes, times out, or cannot be completed, check the Coinepay app for any relevant prompt or transaction status and contact support if you need help. Ask the seller whether its order remains unpaid before starting another attempt; an interrupted screen is not a reliable receipt.
Merchant or regional checks block the transaction
The seller may apply its own eligibility and payment checks based on the order, customer location, or card. Ask Mitel or the authorized partner which requirement caused the rejection and whether another approved payment route is available. If it specifies a card-type or issuing-country requirement, ask Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets it. Use your real location and business details, and confirm that the product is offered to your organization in its jurisdiction.
If a charge appears in Coinepay but the seller cannot find the payment, do not immediately pay again. Give the seller its order reference and the transaction date and amount, and ask Coinepay support to help you check the card transaction status.
Check renewal and termination terms before committing
Do not assume a MiVoice Business Subscription can be canceled at any time or that an unused period is refundable. Review your particular order and applicable Mitel or partner terms for notice requirements, renewal, and payment obligations. Mitel’s March 26, 2026 cloud terms describe specific termination rights, including termination on 30 days’ prior written notice if a material breach by Mitel remains uncured; that is not a general cancel-anytime provision. Your contract may require a different process, so ask the selling entity where to send any required written notice.
For ongoing charges, keep the card and billing contact information current through the process your seller provides. Use Billing → Orders and Billing → Subscriptions, if available to your administrator, to review orders and license assignments—not as a substitute for confirming invoice payment or changing a card with the billing party.

FAQ
Can I buy MiVoice Business Subscription directly from a public Mitel checkout?
Start by requesting an order from Mitel or an authorized partner. Confirm the payment process with the selling entity; do not assume there is a public self-service card checkout.
Which MiVoice Business Subscription tiers should I ask about?
The documented Subscription Ed.2 user tiers are MiVB Telephony, MiVB Entry, MiVB Premier, and MiVB Elite CX. Ask the seller which tier applies to your order.
Can I enter my Coinepay card under Billing → Subscriptions?
That view shows assigned licenses; it is not an established card-entry page. Ask the entity billing your order how to pay or update a payment method.
What should I do if my card is declined?
Check available funds and real billing details, complete any authentication prompt, and ask the seller about order or regional requirements. Contact Coinepay support for card-specific help.
