You can enter a Coinepay virtual card at Keap’s paid checkout or use it to update an existing subscription, provided the card meets Keap’s payment requirements and the transaction is approved. This guide covers the costs to review, the checkout steps, and what to check if a charge fails. It concerns paying your Keap subscription, not using Keap Pay to collect payments from your customers.

What to check before you subscribe

Keap’s public pricing page presents one full-platform offer for new customers rather than separate prices for each edition. At the time of writing (October 2026), its starting subscription price is US$299 per month billed monthly, or US$2,988 per year (equivalent to US$249 per month). The starting subscription includes two users; additional users are listed at US$39 per month each. Keap also says an implementation package is required, so the amount due on your order may be higher. Contact quantity and other order choices can affect the total. Check Keap’s official pricing page and your order summary for current pricing before paying.

You may see Keap Pro, Keap Max, and Keap Ultimate in an existing account or its upgrade controls. Do not assume the new-customer starting price is a separate published price for any of those editions. Likewise, Keap’s text-marketing tiers are add-ons, not subscription editions.

Keap advertises a 14-day free trial without a credit card. Its pricing FAQ says trial accounts cannot process payments or send or receive texts. If you need paid features, review the subscription order rather than assuming the trial includes them.

  • Confirm location and feature availability. The published Thryv-services country list names the United States, Australia, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Canada excluding Quebec, and New Zealand. Check whether Keap offers the subscription you want in your actual location. Some features have narrower coverage: Keap lists text marketing as US-only, one-to-one texts and a dedicated phone line as US/Canada-only, and its native payment processor as US-only.
  • Check the card requirement. Keap’s subscription billing FAQ lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit or debit cards. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets Keap’s listed requirement before you buy. Acceptance of an individual transaction is not assured.
  • Prepare your real details. Have the purchaser’s name, your actual billing address, and the information requested for your business ready. Keap’s checkout asks for purchaser and billing details as well as card details.
  • Review the whole order. Allow for the displayed subscription total, required implementation package, and any selected extras. Keap’s billing FAQ says you cannot split one subscription payment across two cards.

Get your Coinepay virtual card ready

  1. Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using its card services.
  2. Open the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app and obtain your virtual card. Coinepay provides a card number, expiry date, and CVV upon issuance.
  3. Check the card’s available funds against the final amount Keap displays, not just the advertised starting subscription price. If you need help with funding options or card requirements, check the Coinepay app or contact support.
  4. Keep access to your Coinepay account during checkout in case a payment-verification step appears. Use your real billing details consistently; do not change your address or location merely to make a payment pass.

Sign up and pay for Keap

  1. Go to Keap’s official website and review its pricing page. Choose the subscription or sales-assisted purchase route available for your location. If you first want to evaluate the product, you can choose its advertised 14-day trial without entering a card.
  2. For a paid order, review the proposed subscription, user and contact quantities, billing interval, and required implementation package. If an existing account offers Pro, Max, or Ultimate, confirm the edition and its price in that specific order.
  3. Enter your actual purchaser information and billing address at Keap checkout. When asked for payment, copy the card number, expiry, and CVV from Coinepay and enter them in the corresponding fields. Check every digit and the address before continuing.
  4. Read Keap’s order summary and agreement. An official checkout example ends with “Agree and pay now”; the wording or purchase path you see may differ. Confirm only after checking the amount due now, the recurring billing terms, and any implementation charges.
  5. Complete any verification requested during payment, then check Keap for confirmation of the order. Also check your Coinepay activity before attempting the payment again if the checkout result is unclear, to avoid submitting a duplicate order.

Keap Pay is a different product feature: it enables a Keap business to accept payments from customers. Its listed customer-payment methods and decline categories should not be treated as the payment rules or error messages for your Keap subscription.

If Keap declines the card

Keap has not published a verified list of exact subscription-checkout error messages. Treat the message you actually see as the starting point, and avoid repeatedly resubmitting an unchanged payment. These checks address common possibilities without assuming which one caused your decline:

What to checkPractical next step
Insufficient available fundsCompare the available amount shown in Coinepay with Keap’s complete order total, including the implementation package or extras shown at checkout. Review any pending card activity. Use the Coinepay app or support if you need help understanding the available amount.
Billing address or card-detail mismatchRe-enter the number, expiry, and CVV carefully. Make sure the purchaser and billing address are your real details and are entered consistently. For an existing subscription, check the address saved in Keap as well.
3-D Secure or another verification stepIf a verification prompt appears, follow it and wait for the result. If it times out or cannot be completed, check your Coinepay account for any related request and contact Coinepay support. Do not assume every Keap checkout uses the same verification flow.
Merchant card or region checksConfirm that your actual location is eligible for the Keap offer and ask Coinepay support whether your card meets Keap’s listed credit-or-debit-card requirement. If necessary, ask Keap about its checkout restriction; do not use inaccurate billing or location details to work around it.

For a failed existing subscription charge, Keap says it retries the charge 2, 4, 8, 15, and 31 days after the initial decline. Updating or adding the primary card triggers a retry. Those retry dates describe subscription billing, not a promise that a failed new checkout will retry automatically. If you cannot identify the issue, contact Coinepay support about the card and Keap’s service team about the order; provide the date, amount, and the exact message you saw, but never send your full card number or CVV in a support message.

Update your card or manage the subscription later

In Keap, open profile icon → Settings → My Account. Choose Payment method details to update the subscription card or Update billing address to correct the saved address. Edit Subscription shows available changes to an edition, contact quantity, or user quantity. You may need billing-admin access to see these controls. Check the resulting charges before approving a change.

If you plan to stop paying, do not simply remove the card. Keap’s cancellation instructions direct you to avatar → Settings → My Account → Plan Details → Contact Customer Service, then to submit the form and speak with the Customer Success Manager or service team by phone. Submitting the form alone does not cancel the account.

Read your own order and applicable terms before purchasing or cancelling. Keap’s January 2026 additional terms describe a six-month initial minimum unless otherwise agreed in writing, followed by month-to-month renewal; incorporated Thryv terms call for termination notice at least 30 days before the next subscription period. Keap’s pricing FAQ also gives different cancellation guidance, so do not rely on a single general deadline without checking your agreement. The incorporated terms describe a full refund for cancellation within three days of purchase and generally no refunds afterward except where expressly provided; your order and country-specific terms may affect the result.
