Gorgias is a customer-support helpdesk built for ecommerce stores, bringing email, chat, social and store data into one shared inbox. If you want to pay for it with a Coinepay virtual card, this guide walks through what you need, how the sign-up and checkout flow works, where to manage billing, and how to troubleshoot a declined card.
What you need before you start
Paying for a subscription is simple once your card is ready. Have these in place first:
- A verified Coinepay account. Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification (KYC) before you try to use card services. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions.
- An active Coinepay virtual card. Create one in the Coinepay dashboard or the mobile app (iOS / Android). You get the card number, expiry date and CVV instantly.
- Enough balance on the card to cover the plan you intend to buy plus any applicable taxes. Gorgias also places a temporary $1 authorization when you add a card, which it says it refunds within seven days, so leave a little headroom.
- Your real billing details. Use the name and billing address that match your Coinepay account. Mismatched details are a common cause of declines.
Note that Gorgias prohibits use in US-embargoed or sanctioned countries and by restricted parties, giving Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and Crimea as examples. Coinepay likewise does not serve sanctioned persons or residents of comprehensively sanctioned regions.
Gorgias plans at a glance
Gorgias lists five tiers: Starter, Basic, Pro, Advanced and Enterprise. Its May 2026 pricing guide showed monthly US-dollar prices of $10, $60, $360, $900 and a custom quote, with included monthly ticket volumes of 50, 300, 2,000, 5,000 and custom. Voice and SMS are paid add-ons.
These figures were not confirmed as today's live checkout prices, and local-currency pricing for regions such as the UK, EU, Canada and Australia could not be verified. Always check the amount shown on the official gorgias.com pricing page and at checkout before you confirm. Prices vary by region.
Gorgias has also updated how it bills: accounts created before May 28, 2025 may stay on legacy usage pricing, while under the newer model an AI-resolved conversation can incur both a helpdesk ticket fee and an automation fee. Check your own account's Billing and usage page rather than assuming a single pricing description applies.
Step 1: Create your Gorgias account
- Go to gorgias.com and choose Sign up free.
- Enter your account and store details, then select your ecommerce platform.
- Verify your email address. Your seven-day trial starts immediately.
During the trial you can explore the helpdesk. When the trial ends you are prompted to choose a paid plan to keep it active.
Step 2: Add your Coinepay card and choose a plan
Gorgias documents credit cards, including Google Pay, as a payment method for all customers. ACH debit is limited to eligible, vetted US customers with a US-dollar bank account, and stores that installed through the Shopify App Store can instead be billed through their Shopify subscription.
- Open Settings → Account → Billing and usage. Account owners and admins can see the Usage & Plans, Payment Information and Payment History tabs here.
- In Payment Information, add a payment method and enter your Coinepay card number, expiry date and CVV.
- Enter the billing address that matches your Coinepay account, then save. Expect the temporary $1 authorization at this point.
- Choose your plan and select monthly or yearly billing. Review the total, including any taxes, before confirming.
Gorgias charges recurring subscription fees at the start of each term. The exact sequence of screens and the final confirmation button for a new customer's paid checkout can change, so follow the on-screen prompts and confirm the amount shown.
