Aircall is a cloud-based business phone and contact-center platform. If you run your calling plan as a team and want to keep the subscription on a dedicated card with its own spending limit, a Coinepay virtual card can be a tidy way to handle the recurring charge. This guide walks through what you need, how Aircall billing works, and how to pay at checkout, with a troubleshooting section for the most common reasons a card is declined.
What you need before you start
- A Coinepay account with identity verification (KYC) completed. You can register here and manage everything from the iOS app or Android app.
- A Coinepay virtual card issued in your app, with its card number, expiry date and CVV visible.
- Enough balance on the card to cover the first charge plus any applicable fees.
- Your real billing details, name and address exactly as they appear on your Coinepay account.
- An Aircall account where you are the Owner — only Owners can add payment methods and manage the plan.
Aircall lists Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express as accepted credit-card brands. It also offers direct debit where eligible and, for 25+ active licenses with approval, bank transfer; cheques are not accepted. Whether debit cards are accepted as cards is not stated by Aircall, so if you are unsure, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets Aircall's requirement before you buy.
Understanding Aircall's plans
Aircall's public pricing names three main tiers — Essentials, Professional and Enterprise. Essentials and Professional have a three-license minimum; Enterprise is quote-based with a 25-license minimum. Aircall also documents a standalone Starter AI Plan with one included user and no three-seat minimum, and lists standalone AI Voice Agents separately from the three main tiers.
At the time of writing (October 2026), the displayed license prices are annual-billing rates (Aircall advertises a 25% annual saving):
| Region | Essentials | Professional | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| United States | $30/license/mo | $50/license/mo | Quote-based |
| United Kingdom | £25/license/mo | £40/license/mo | Quote-based |
| France & Germany | €30/license/mo | €50/license/mo | Quote-based |
| Australia | A$45/license/mo | A$75/license/mo | Quote-based |
Prices vary by region and change over time, and a Canada-specific license price in CAD is not confirmed. Always check the current figure on Aircall's official pricing page before you commit.
Step 1: Start your Aircall account
From Aircall's site, choose Get free access to reach the get-started page, then register and complete the verification steps. Aircall documents a seven-day trial, with a plan choice offered at trial end. A trial expires on its own if you do not subscribe, so there is no need to cancel an unstarted trial. Note that number availability is restricted separately by country, number type, documentation and carrier approval, so confirm your country is on Aircall's supported-number list.
Step 2: Upgrade to a paid plan
When you are ready to pay, open the Aircall Dashboard and use the Upgrade plan button, or let the trial convert to a paid plan. Billing starts on contract signing or conversion to a paid plan under your commercial agreement. The exact fields and authentication sequence of the initial paid checkout are not published, so follow the on-screen prompts and enter real, matching details.
Step 3: Add your Coinepay virtual card
As the account Owner, go to Aircall Dashboard → My Company → Billing. Payment methods and invoices live here, while your plan name, charges, billing frequency and renewal date are under My Company → Plan.
- In Billing, open Payment Method and choose Use Credit Card.
- Open your Coinepay app, reveal your virtual card number, expiry and CVV, and copy them carefully.
- Enter the card details along with your real billing name and address.
- Select Confirm. The saved card is then used for your open invoices.
If you later add extra user licenses, Aircall's dashboard shows the license type, recurring price, applicable fees, and the amount prorated through the current billing period before you confirm the purchase, so you can review the total first.
Step 4: Confirm the charge and keep records
After saving the card, check that the plan shows as active under My Company → Plan and that your invoice is marked paid under Billing. Keep the invoice for your records — this is useful for business expense tracking and matches Coinepay's compliant transaction records if you pay suppliers or team tools from the same card.
Troubleshooting card declines
Aircall identifies insufficient funds, an expired card and a reached spending limit as common card-payment failure causes. Work through these before retrying.
Insufficient balance
Make sure your Coinepay card holds enough to cover the full license total plus any fees. Top up in the Coinepay app, then let Aircall retry or re-save the card. For an unpaid invoice, Aircall shows a red banner in the dashboard, leaves the invoice marked Open and sends payment-reminder emails; after you update card details, it says outstanding payments are retried automatically.
Billing address mismatch
Enter the billing name and address exactly as they appear on your Coinepay account. A mismatch between the address on file and the one typed at checkout is a frequent cause of a failed verification. Correct the details and try again.
3-D Secure / authentication
Some charges, especially recurring ones, require bank-style authentication. Aircall notes that recurring charges can be declined when that authentication cannot be completed. Keep the Coinepay app open to approve any verification prompt, then retry the payment.
Expired card or spending limit
Check the expiry date shown in the Coinepay app and confirm the card has not hit a per-card spending limit. If you manage several subscriptions, a dedicated card with its own limit can make this easier to monitor.
Regional and card-type checks
Aircall says it does not accept Indian-issued credit cards or direct debit for Indian customers and directs them to bank transfer in USD, while noting a non-Indian-issued credit card can be used. Direct debit also has a country-and-currency eligibility list (for example US/Canada—USD, UK—GBP, Australia/New Zealand—AUD, France and Germany—EUR), but that is a payment-method limit, not the complete list of countries where Aircall can be bought. If a charge keeps failing on a regional check, confirm your situation with Aircall and, separately, ask Coinepay support to confirm your card details before retrying.
Managing, cancelling and refunds
Eligible self-subscribed Owners can cancel via Dashboard → Plan → Cancel Subscription. Aircall's guide says 1–10-seat accounts no longer have the standard 30-day notice requirement, while accounts with more than 10 seats must request cancellation in writing from Customer Success at least 30 days before renewal — but an annual plan or other commitment can still require 30-day notice, so check your contract first. Cancellation is scheduled for the applicable term, and pre-closure usage or extras can still produce a final invoice. Aircall's stated rule is no refund for ending a paid subscription before its contracted commitment ends, and no prorated refunds or credits for mid-cycle license deletions.
For anything specific to your Coinepay card — balance, limits or whether it suits a particular merchant check — reach the team through the support page or Telegram. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions, and some services are not available in every jurisdiction.
