Jotform's paid plans unlock more forms, submissions and storage for building online forms, surveys and approval flows. If you want to upgrade from the free tier and pay with a Coinepay virtual card, this guide walks through what you need, how the sign-up and checkout works, and how to troubleshoot a declined card.
These steps cover paying for your own Jotform account subscription. They are not about payments your customers make through a Jotform form you build.
What you need before you start
- A verified Coinepay account. Register and complete identity verification (KYC) first, then create a virtual card. Coinepay issues the card number, expiry date and CVV instantly in the app. You can sign up here and download the app for iOS or Android.
- Funds on the card. Jotform bills automatically and a subscription-failure email can cite insufficient funds, so keep enough balance for the plan plus any tax added at checkout.
- Your real billing details. Use the name and billing address tied to your Coinepay profile. A mismatch is a common cause of declines.
- A Jotform account. Create one with a valid email address, or log in to the one you already have.
Jotform charges customers in Europe in euros and customers elsewhere in US dollars, and the amount on your card statement may appear in a local currency. If you hold a tax ID, you can enter it at checkout to remove applicable tax; tax-exemption certificates are handled by Jotform support.
Jotform plans and pricing
Jotform's plan names are Starter (Free), Bronze, Silver, Gold and Jotform Enterprise. Starter is free, and Enterprise uses custom pricing with a sales quote and upfront payment for the contract term.
At the time of writing (October 2026), the US-dollar monthly prices listed were Bronze $39/month, Silver $49/month and Gold $129/month. Billed annually they were Bronze $408/year ($34/month equivalent), Silver $468/year ($39/month equivalent) and Gold $1,188/year ($99/month equivalent). Prices change and vary by region, so always confirm the current figure on Jotform's official pricing page before you pay.
Step-by-step: subscribe with your Coinepay card
- Create or open your virtual card in Coinepay. Make sure it is funded and note the card number, expiry and CVV.
- Sign in to Jotform and go to the Pricing page.
- Choose a plan (Bronze, Silver or Gold) and pick monthly or yearly billing. Yearly billing lowers the effective monthly rate.
- Log in if prompted and continue to checkout.
- Enter your billing details. Type your name and billing address exactly as they appear on your Coinepay account. Add a tax ID here if you have one.
- Select card as the payment method. Jotform lists credit/debit card and PayPal; where checkout is processed through FastSpring, Google Pay and Amazon Pay may also appear. A support reply names Visa, Mastercard and American Express as examples of accepted card brands.
- Enter your Coinepay card number, expiry and CVV.
- Accept the terms and complete payment. If a 3-D Secure confirmation step appears, approve it in the Coinepay app.
After payment succeeds, your account upgrades immediately. You can review everything later under your profile image → Settings → Billing.
Manage your card and plan after upgrading
From your Workspace, open profile image → Settings → Billing. There you will find:
- My Plan → Change Plan to switch tiers or billing cycle.
- Manage Payment Methods to add a card and set it as your primary method. If you create a fresh Coinepay card, add it here and make it primary so renewals charge the right card.
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. If a card payment cannot be processed, Jotform may suspend or cancel the subscription, so keep a funded card on file before each renewal date.
Troubleshooting a declined card
One user reported the message "We regret that your order could not be accepted", and Jotform notes a card can be declined because of bank or payment-processor restrictions. That message alone doesn't reveal the reason, so work through the common causes below.
Insufficient balance
A subscription-failure email can cite insufficient funds. Check your Coinepay balance in the app and make sure it covers the plan price plus any tax added at checkout, then retry.
Billing address mismatch
If the address on the Jotform checkout doesn't match the details registered to your Coinepay card, the payment can fail verification. Re-enter your billing name and address exactly as they appear in your Coinepay profile.
3-D Secure not completed
If an extra verification prompt appears and isn't approved, the charge won't go through. Keep the Coinepay app open and approve the confirmation when it pops up, then submit the payment again.
Merchant region checks
Jotform support has said new sign-ups from certain countries were disabled. Separately, Coinepay does not serve residents of jurisdictions under comprehensive sanctions, and services related to virtual assets are not available to residents of mainland China. Use your own country and real details—never a VPN or another person's information to get around a regional check.
Card type or brand restriction
If card payment still fails after the checks above, the processor may restrict certain card types or brands in your region. Try PayPal if you have it, or contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the requirement before you buy. You can also reach the team on Telegram.
Note that Jotform no longer accepts checks, purchase orders or wire transfers for new plan payments—changing plans requires a card or PayPal.
Refunds and cancellation
To cancel a direct subscription, go to Billing → Change Plan → Starter (Free) → Downgrade and confirm. Your paid plan stays active until the next billing date, when the account moves to Starter. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play must be canceled through the respective store.
Jotform's terms allow a requested refund when an account is canceled within 30 days of a payment made directly to Jotform; other refunds are discretionary and add-on charges are excluded. Requests go through Jotform's Refund Request Wizard and must be made within 30 days—its help page says later requests won't be processed. Enterprise contracts are paid upfront for the term and are not refundable. Apple and Google purchases follow the relevant store's refund process.
A quick recap
Fund a verified Coinepay virtual card, choose your Jotform plan and billing cycle, enter matching billing details, pay by card and approve any 3-D Secure prompt. If a charge is declined, check your balance, your address, 3-D Secure and regional restrictions—and reach out to Coinepay support if you need to confirm your card before buying.

FAQ
Which Jotform plans can I pay for with a Coinepay card?
You can use a card to subscribe to Jotform's Bronze, Silver or Gold plans on monthly or yearly billing. Starter is free, and Enterprise uses a custom quote with upfront payment. Confirm current prices on Jotform's official pricing page, as they vary by region.
Why was my card declined at Jotform checkout?
Common causes are insufficient balance, a billing address that doesn't match your card details, an uncompleted 3-D Secure step, or bank/processor and regional restrictions. Jotform also showed messages like "We regret that your order could not be accepted" and cited insufficient funds. Check each, then contact Coinepay support if it persists.
Will my Jotform subscription renew automatically on my Coinepay card?
Yes. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until canceled. Keep your card funded, because an unprocessable payment can lead Jotform to suspend or cancel the subscription. Manage your card under profile image → Settings → Billing → Manage Payment Methods.
Can I get a refund if I paid for Jotform by card?
Jotform's terms allow a requested refund when an account is canceled within 30 days of a payment made directly to Jotform; other refunds are discretionary and add-ons are excluded. Use Jotform's Refund Request Wizard within 30 days. Store purchases and Enterprise contracts follow different rules.
How do I add or change the card Jotform charges?
Go to your profile image → Settings → Billing, open Manage Payment Methods, add your Coinepay card and set it as primary so renewals use it. Enter the card number, expiry and CVV from your Coinepay app along with billing details that match your profile.
