Call of Duty Points (CP) are in-game currency bought as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. To pay with a Coinepay virtual card, buy CP through your game’s in-game store or the store for the platform where you play. The important choice is the platform account: CP bought on one platform account cannot be transferred to another for spending.

Before you buy: choose the right CP listing

Check which Call of Duty game and platform account you use before opening checkout. The current Xbox listings call the packs “Black Ops 7 or Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Points” and offer 200, 500, 1,100, 2,400, 5,000, 9,500 and 13,000 CP. Availability and checkout prices can differ by platform and region, so review the listing you actually intend to buy.

Do not confuse a CP pack with something you can buy using CP. For example, the Season 06 Battle Pass costs 1,100 CP, while the Battle Pass Bundle costs 2,400 CP and includes 20 tokens. “Call of Duty®: Black Ops 7 - BlackCell (Season 06)” is a separate real-money product that includes a Battle Pass, 20 tier skips and 1,100 CP. Check the product name and contents before paying; buying BlackCell is not the same as buying a standalone CP pack.

This guide concerns mainline Call of Duty and Warzone CP. Call of Duty: Mobile has separate CP purchasing channels and should not be assumed to use the same packs or checkout process.

What you need

  • The correct game and platform account. If you use an Activision account, you can create one for free or register with a PlayStation, Xbox, Steam or Blizzard account. Check your platform connections under Linked Accounts in your Activision profile.
  • A Coinepay account with identity verification completed. Register with Coinepay and complete KYC before using card services. Coinepay issues virtual cards with a card number, expiry date and CVV; access and manage yours in the Coinepay app or 24/7 self-service dashboard.
  • Enough available funds for the checkout total. Review the amount shown by the platform, including any applicable taxes or other charges, and check your available funds in Coinepay before submitting payment.
  • Your real billing information. Enter your own details accurately. Your platform’s store region and payment-method rules may affect whether a card can be added or used.

Coinepay’s card services are provided through licensed partner financial institutions. Some Coinepay services are unavailable in certain jurisdictions. A payment method appearing at checkout does not mean a particular card will be accepted.

How to buy Call of Duty Points with your Coinepay card

  1. Prepare your card. In Coinepay, confirm that your virtual card is available and check its number, expiry date, CVV and available funds. If you need help finding a setting or reviewing an account issue, contact Coinepay support.
  2. Sign in to the account where you play. Open Call of Duty on your intended platform, or sign in to that platform’s store using the same platform account. If you are setting up an Activision account, check Linked Accounts before purchasing so you know which platform account you are using.
  3. Find a CP pack. Open the in-game store or the relevant platform store and select the CP denomination you want. Read the listing to distinguish standalone points from a Battle Pass, bundle or BlackCell purchase.
  4. Choose card payment if offered. At checkout, enter the Coinepay virtual card details and your accurate billing details, or select the card if you have already added it to that platform account. Available payment options vary by store and region.
  5. Review and confirm. Verify the CP amount, platform account and final price before authorizing payment. If checkout asks you to complete a security verification, follow the instructions presented; do not repeatedly resubmit while a verification is pending.
  6. Check your balance in-game. If you bought CP through a platform webstore, launch Call of Duty on that platform to register the balance. If you later check the online Call of Duty Store and it has not updated, refresh it after launching the game.

Platform billing menus can help if you need to add or correct a card. For Xbox/Microsoft, sign in to your Microsoft account and open Payment options under billing payments; on Xbox One, Microsoft documents Settings → Account → Payment & billing. For PlayStation, use Account Management → Payment Method online, or Settings → Users and Accounts → Account → Payment and Subscriptions → Payment Methods on PS5. On Steam, Account Details shows your Wallet and purchase history, while available external payment methods appear at checkout.

Why the Call of Duty Store is different from a CP top-up

At callofduty.com/store, the online Call of Duty Store lets eligible players spend an existing CP balance on a Battle Pass or bundle. Its flow is to sign in, choose the item, select an eligible linked account, then use Buy Now → Confirm Purchase. It is not the card checkout for adding CP. If the linked account lacks enough CP, buy a CP pack in-game instead, then return once your balance has registered.

Troubleshooting a declined card

Insufficient funds or incorrect payment details

Compare your Coinepay available funds with the final checkout amount, not just the displayed pack price. Recheck the card number, expiry date, CVV and your real billing address for typing errors. Steam’s message “Your purchase has not been completed. Your credit card information has been declined by your credit card company” can have several causes, including incorrect details, an expired card, a payment limit or a security block. The message alone does not identify which one applies; review the Coinepay app and ask support to investigate if the details and funds appear correct.

Billing address, store country or currency mismatch

Check that the address you entered is your actual billing address and that your store account’s country reflects your residence. PlayStation warns that a card registered in a different country from the store region may not link to the account. Steam requires a store country matching your residence and a local payment method; it also documents a wallet-currency versus purchase-currency mismatch error. These are platform restrictions, not fields to work around. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the applicable payment requirement before you buy, and consult the platform’s support if its account region is incorrect.

Security verification or repeated attempts

If a checkout requests 3-D Secure or another cardholder verification, follow the on-screen steps and check the Coinepay app for any action you need to take. If you cannot complete the prompt, ask Coinepay support for help rather than repeatedly attempting payment. PlayStation also describes a security block when payment information has “been updated too often within a short amount of time”: its documented wait is 24 hours, and another attempt during that period restarts the block. Wait as instructed by PlayStation before trying again.

Other platform checks

PlayStation lists disabled online payments, unsupported payment methods and service issues among possible causes. Payment options on Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store and Steam vary by region. If the card option is absent, or the platform rejects it after you have corrected your information, check that platform’s payment guidance and contact its support; Coinepay support can help review the card side of the attempt.

Refunds and purchase records

There is no CP subscription to cancel. Review the pack and account carefully because refund rules depend on the retailer and how the purchase was made. Activision directs accidental real-money purchase refund requests to the retailer and says it does not refund accidental purchases made with CP. In the US, a PlayStation Store in-game consumable may qualify for a refund if requested within 14 days and the game has not been launched since purchase; an immediately delivered in-game purchase does not meet that listed condition. Microsoft says digital add-ons generally are not refundable unless an offer or applicable law provides otherwise. Steam labels its Call of Duty CP purchase option not eligible for refund. Keep your platform receipt and contact the retailer that processed the purchase if you need to request a review.

FAQ

Is Call of Duty Points a subscription?

No. CP packs are one-time purchases, so there is no CP subscription to cancel.

Can I buy CP at the online Call of Duty Store with my card?

The online Call of Duty Store uses an existing CP balance for eligible Battle Pass and bundle purchases. Buy additional CP in-game or through the relevant platform store.

Will CP bought on one platform appear on another?

CP bought on a platform can be spent only on that platform account. Choose the account where you intend to use the points.

Why has my virtual card been declined?

Check available funds, card details, your real billing address, any security-verification prompt and the platform’s store-region rules. Contact Coinepay support for help reviewing the card side of the payment.
