You can enter a Coinepay virtual card when buying a Zoom Workplace plan directly from Zoom. This guide covers what to prepare, how to complete checkout, and what to check if a payment is declined. Zoom decides whether to accept a card for a particular order, so confirm the result on Zoom’s checkout page before relying on the subscription.
Choose the right Zoom Workplace plan
Zoom’s Workplace plans are Basic, Pro, Business, and Enterprise. Basic is free; Enterprise requires a sales quote. For a direct online purchase, start on Zoom’s Plans and Pricing page and compare the paid plans, available features, license quantity, and billing cycle before ordering.
At the time of writing (October 2026), Zoom’s US-dollar pricing page showed Pro at $16.99 per user/month with monthly billing, or $14.16 per user/month as the monthly equivalent of annual billing. Business was shown at $21.99 or $18.33 per user/month on those respective terms. Annual billing is not a monthly payment plan: review the total due at checkout. Prices, taxes, and available terms can vary by region, so check Zoom’s official pricing page and your order summary rather than relying on these figures.
This guide concerns Workplace subscriptions purchased directly from Zoom. Event tickets and Zoom App Marketplace purchases have separate payment rules. If you received a sales quote or subscribed through an app store, follow the payment and account-management instructions for that purchase instead.
What you need before checkout
- A Zoom account or a new-account sign-up: You can create a free Basic account through Zoom’s sign-up page, or create an account while purchasing a paid plan. If you already use Basic, you can begin an upgrade from Plans and Billing → Plan Management in Zoom’s web portal.
- An active Coinepay card: Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification (KYC) before using card services. Coinepay provides a virtual card number, expiry date, and CVV, available through its self-service dashboard or mobile app. Check the app for the funds available for your purchase.
- Your real billing information: Use your actual name and billing address, and review them for typing errors. Do not substitute an address from another country to try to pass a merchant check.
- The correct order details: Decide how many licenses you need and whether you want monthly or annual billing. Check the currency, any taxes, and the amount Zoom displays before placing the order.
Zoom lists card payments as an option, subject to eligibility; other payment methods depend on the account and location. A card option appearing at checkout does not mean every individual card or transaction will be approved. If you need to confirm whether your Coinepay card is suitable for a particular Zoom payment, contact Coinepay support before buying.
How to sign up and pay for Zoom
- Open Zoom’s Plans and Pricing page. Choose Pro or Business if you want to purchase a listed paid Workplace plan online. For Enterprise, request a quote through Zoom instead of following a standard self-service checkout.
- Sign in or create your Zoom account. Existing Basic users can also sign in to the Zoom web portal and start from Plans and Billing → Plan Management. New customers can create an account during the purchase flow.
- Configure the subscription. Select the plan, license quantity, and subscription cycle. Compare the displayed order total with your intended purchase, particularly if you selected annual billing.
- Enter billing details. Provide your genuine account and billing information. Select the card payment option if Zoom offers it for your order, then enter the Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date, and CVV exactly as shown in your Coinepay dashboard or app.
- Review and submit. Check the amount, currency, renewal terms, and Zoom’s terms presented at checkout. When the details are correct, select Place Order. If an authentication step appears, follow its on-screen instructions rather than repeatedly submitting the payment.
- Verify the outcome. Wait for Zoom’s order confirmation and check the plan shown in your Zoom account. You can also review the card activity in Coinepay. If the result is unclear, check for an existing Zoom order before attempting checkout again.
Zoom also offers other eligibility-dependent methods, including PayPal and certain local payment options. If you switch to PayPal, note that Zoom requires a valid payment card selected in PayPal and does not support payment from a PayPal balance. The availability of an alternative method does not change the requirements for an order paid directly with your Coinepay card.
What to do if Zoom declines your card
Start with any message Zoom displays, then check the order details and your Coinepay card activity. A decline may come from Zoom’s payment checks, the processor, or the card side; the message alone may not identify which one. Avoid repeated identical attempts while you investigate.
| Possible cause | What to check next |
|---|---|
| Insufficient funds or a spending limit | Compare the available funds shown in Coinepay with Zoom’s full checkout total, not just an advertised per-user price. Include the selected license quantity, billing cycle, and any amount shown for tax. Check any applicable card controls in Coinepay; if you cannot identify the issue, contact support. |
| Billing address or card-detail mismatch | Re-enter the card number, expiry date, and CVV carefully. Check that the billing details you gave Zoom are your real, current details and correct any typos. Do not use a made-up address or change your stated country to bypass a check. |
| Authentication or 3-D Secure step does not complete | If checkout asks you to verify the payment, complete the prompt using the instructions presented. If it times out, is unavailable, or keeps failing, note what happened and ask Coinepay support to review the card-side issue. Contact Zoom support if the checkout itself does not progress. |
| Merchant region or currency check | Confirm that your actual location and billing country are eligible for the Zoom product and payment option you selected. Zoom documents declines involving unsupported card currency and restrictions on certain transactions. Check the currency displayed for your order; contact Coinepay support to confirm card suitability and Zoom support about merchant-side eligibility. |
| Online or recurring payment blocked | Zoom documents declines when online or recurring transactions are blocked. Ask Coinepay support to help identify whether a card-side restriction applies. Do not assume a successful one-time purchase means a later renewal will succeed. |
Expired cards and issuer or processor declines are other possibilities documented by Zoom. If you contact support, share the time of the attempt, amount, currency, and the exact error text shown by Zoom. Do not send your full card number or CVV in an ordinary support message.
Zoom’s services and payment options are not available everywhere. Zoom identifies Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and the Crimea, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine as locations unable to access its services for regulatory reasons; other country-specific limits may also apply. Coinepay does not serve sanctioned persons or residents of jurisdictions under comprehensive sanctions. Use the services only where you are eligible, with accurate identity and billing information.
Manage your payment method and renewal
Zoom’s direct online subscriptions renew automatically. If you need to change payment details, an account owner, admin, or user with billing privileges can look in the Zoom web portal under Plans and billing → Billing Management/Billing Information. Some accounts still show Account Management → Billing while Zoom’s billing interface changes roll out. If you cannot see billing controls, check that you have the required role.
To stop the next renewal, cancel before its date through Plans and billing → Current Plans/Plan Management → Cancel Plan. Zoom says paid service continues through the current term after cancellation; cancel add-ons before canceling the base plan. Cancellation does not itself issue a refund. Zoom’s terms generally treat current-term charges as non-refundable, subject to applicable law, an order form, or an exception agreed by Zoom. Sales-quoted and app-store subscriptions may use different cancellation procedures.
Keep an eye on your upcoming Zoom renewal and the funds and card activity shown in Coinepay’s self-service dashboard or mobile app. If a renewal fails, check Zoom’s billing information and the decline before updating details or trying again.

FAQ
Can I upgrade a free Zoom Basic account with a Coinepay virtual card?
You can start an upgrade in Zoom’s Plans and Billing → Plan Management. Enter your Coinepay card if Zoom offers card checkout for your order; Zoom determines whether the payment is accepted.
Why is my Zoom payment declined when the card details look correct?
Check the full order total against available funds, your real billing address, any authentication prompt, and the order’s currency and regional eligibility. If the cause remains unclear, contact Coinepay support and provide the exact Zoom error text.
Will Zoom charge me monthly if I choose annual billing?
No. A price expressed as a monthly equivalent for annual billing does not mean monthly payment terms. Review the total and billing cycle in Zoom’s checkout before selecting Place Order.
Where can I update my card or cancel a Zoom renewal?
Users with billing privileges can manage payment details in Zoom’s web portal under Plans and billing → Billing Management/Billing Information; some accounts show Account Management → Billing. To stop renewal, use Current Plans/Plan Management → Cancel Plan before the renewal date.
