To pay for MiniMax’s Hailuo AI at hailuoai.video, you’ll need a Hailuo account, a verified Coinepay account and enough available funds for the total shown at checkout. This guide covers the web subscription flow and what to check if a card payment fails. It does not cover MiniMax’s separately billed developer API.

What to check before you subscribe

Hailuo AI offers free access after login and paid subscriptions for its image and video tools. Its published paid-service terms name the Standard Plan, Pro Plan, Master Plan, Ultra Plan and Max Plan. They also mention an Unlimited Plan that was available for purchase only before June 18, 2025. Plan availability and pricing can change, so use the options and renewal amount displayed for your account at checkout rather than relying on an older plan list.

Before starting payment, prepare the following:

  • A Hailuo AI account: Visit hailuoai.video and sign in or create an account using the options presented there. New accounts registered on or after June 18, 2025 receive a one-time welcome-credit package that expires after three days; check your account for its current balance and expiry.
  • A verified Coinepay account: Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using its card services. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions.
  • Your virtual card details: Open the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app to find your card number, expiry date and CVV. Check your available balance there before attempting payment.
  • Accurate billing information: Have your real name and billing address ready. If you need an invoice with a tax ID, check those details carefully during payment.

Check Hailuo AI’s official subscription page for the price available to you. In particular, review the billing period, any promotional price, the amount due now, the renewal amount and any location-based tax or VAT displayed before you authorize a charge. Prices vary by region and may change.

How to sign up and pay for Hailuo AI

  1. Open the official Hailuo AI website. Go to hailuoai.video, then sign in or create your account. Confirm that you are on the Hailuo AI service rather than a similarly named site.
  2. Review your available access. After login, check whether free access or welcome credits meet your immediate needs. Welcome credits for eligible new accounts expire after three days, so do not confuse them with a recurring paid-plan allowance.
  3. Open Hailuo AI’s subscription options. Visit its subscription page while signed in and select the paid package that fits your needs. Hailuo also describes the option to buy credits. Compare what is actually offered to your account, including the billing period and credits, before continuing.
  4. Check the order summary. Read the amount payable, taxes, invoice information and any future renewal terms shown at checkout. Hailuo says applicable location-based tax or VAT is calculated and displayed before payment. If the amount or terms are not what you expected, stop and review the order rather than submitting it.
  5. Enter your Coinepay card details. Use the card number, expiry date and CVV shown in your Coinepay dashboard or app. Enter your real billing name and address accurately. Hailuo says invoice name, address and tax ID are drawn from the Stripe payment information entered at checkout; changes to those details apply to future invoices, not historical ones.
  6. Complete any verification request. If the payment flow or your card provider asks you to authenticate the transaction, follow the on-screen instructions. Do not close the page or repeatedly resubmit while a payment is still processing.
  7. Confirm the result. Hailuo says it sends notices for successful and failed payments. Check that your Hailuo account shows the intended access and save the order notice for your records. If a payment fails, review the notice before trying again.

Hailuo requires an outstanding payment order to be completed before another is started. If checkout appears stuck on an earlier order, resolve that order through the account’s payment flow or ask Hailuo AI’s support for help rather than creating repeated purchases.

If your card payment is declined

A failed payment notice does not, by itself, identify the cause. Hailuo’s published terms do not provide a list of card-decline messages or issuer codes. Work through the checks below, then ask the relevant support team to investigate if the problem continues.

Insufficient available balance

Compare the available balance shown in Coinepay with Hailuo’s final checkout total, not just an advertised plan price. Tax, the selected billing period or a changed promotion may make the payable amount different from what you expected. If funds are insufficient, use the funding options available in your Coinepay account and check the updated balance before retrying. Do not assume a failed attempt has released any pending amount immediately; inspect the transaction status first.

Billing name or address mismatch

Re-enter the card details and check the billing name, address and any requested tax information for mistakes. Use your real information; do not substitute a fabricated address to make a payment appear to originate elsewhere. If your invoice details need correcting, make the correction before checkout where possible, because Hailuo says updated payment details affect future invoices rather than changing past ones.

Authentication or 3-D Secure does not complete

If checkout displays a 3-D Secure or other authentication challenge, complete it using the instructions shown. A timed-out, abandoned or unsuccessful challenge can prevent the payment from finishing. Return to Hailuo’s order status before attempting another charge. If you cannot complete a requested card verification, contact Coinepay support with the time and amount of the attempt and the exact message you saw. Never send your full card number or CVV in a support message.

Merchant or regional checks

Hailuo warns that its service may be unavailable or unlawful in some jurisdictions, and its published information does not establish a complete country-by-country purchasing list. A payment can also be affected by merchant-side eligibility or card checks. Use your genuine location and billing details, and follow applicable local rules. If Hailuo says your account or payment method is ineligible, ask Hailuo AI to clarify its requirement; contact Coinepay support if you need help checking your card or a declined transaction. Do not assume that holding a Coinepay card overrides a merchant’s regional rules.

If you have checked these points, collect the exact failure notice, attempted amount, date and time, and any visible order status. Share only the information each support team needs. Hailuo can review its order and account eligibility; Coinepay can help you review the card-side attempt. Avoid repeated submissions while an order remains outstanding.

Manage renewals and credits after purchase

Keep an eye on the renewal terms you accepted. For a website subscription, MiniMax has directed users to log in on the Hailuo website, open the Subscription page in account settings and choose “Downgrade to Free Plan” to prevent future renewals. Verify the resulting subscription status in your account. If you bought through a different channel, check that channel’s applicable subscription instructions.

Hailuo’s published policy says a subscriber can terminate during a billing cycle, with termination taking effect at the start of the next cycle; payments already made are not refunded under that policy. It also says unused membership credits expire after one month rather than carrying over. Credits consumed by a failed generation, or by content that fails review, are automatically returned. Review your account’s credit balance and the current policy before making another purchase.

For future payments, you can manage your Coinepay card through its self-service dashboard or mobile app. If you need to change a payment method on an existing Hailuo subscription, follow the options displayed in your Hailuo account or ask Hailuo AI for the applicable procedure before your next renewal.
