BigRock sells domain names, shared hosting, VPS hosting, dedicated servers and other web-presence products. If you want to keep your hosting spend on a single, controllable card, a Coinepay virtual card gives you an instant card number, expiry date and CVV you can use at checkout. This guide walks through what you need, how to sign up and pay, and how to troubleshoot a declined card.

What you need before you start

  • A verified Coinepay account. Register and complete identity verification (KYC) first, then create a virtual card in the dashboard or mobile app. You will need the card number, expiry and CVV.
  • Your real billing details. BigRock processes an international payment and may run address and 3-D Secure checks, so use the real name and billing address linked to your Coinepay card.
  • Enough balance on the card to cover the plan plus any applicable taxes. BigRock says taxes are added to invoices unless stated otherwise.
  • A clear idea of the product and term. Decide between a domain only, a hosting plan, or both, and how long a term you want.

You can get the Coinepay app from the App Store or Google Play, or register online at the Coinepay sign-up page.

Know the BigRock plans and prices

BigRock's Linux shared web-hosting tiers, viewed on the India-server selection at the time of writing (October 2026), were advertised as follows. These are promotional monthly rates, not a verified one-month checkout total, and taxes are added on top. Always confirm the current figure on BigRock's official pricing page before you pay.

PlanAdvertised rateRenewal rate
Standard₹69/month₹409/month
Business₹159/month₹649/month
Pro₹199/month₹759/month
Ultimate₹249/month₹989/month

Prices and plan availability vary by region and customer country, and other products (VPS, dedicated servers, domains) are priced separately. Check the figure shown in your own BigRock cart in your billing currency.

Which payment methods BigRock accepts

BigRock's payment-options page lists different methods depending on where you are registered:

  • Registered Indian customers: net banking, debit cards, credit cards, wallets and UPI.
  • Non-Indian customers: PayPal Express Checkout and credit cards; it notes that wire transfers must use an international bank account and that export payments are made in convertible foreign currency.

BigRock's page names credit and debit card categories but does not publish the exact card networks it accepts. Because that detail isn't confirmed, and because it's your card issuer that ultimately authorises any transaction, it's worth confirming your card is suitable before you buy. Contact Coinepay support if you want to check your card details before checkout.

Step-by-step: subscribe and pay

  1. Choose your product. On the BigRock site, pick a hosting plan or search for a domain. For hosting you'll typically select a plan and then choose or add a domain.
  2. Review the cart. Check the term, any add-ons, and the total including taxes before continuing.
  3. Sign in or create an account. Existing users sign in; new users create a BigRock account using their real name and contact details.
  4. Select a payment method. On the payment screen, choose the card option available to your account type.
  5. Enter your Coinepay virtual card details. Copy the card number, expiry and CVV from the Coinepay app or dashboard, and enter the billing name and address that match your Coinepay profile.
  6. Complete any verification. If a 3-D Secure or one-time passcode step appears, approve it through the method Coinepay uses for your card.
  7. Confirm and save your invoice. After payment, keep the confirmation. If an order shows as unpaid, you can pay it later from your account.

Paying an unpaid invoice later

If an order wasn't paid at checkout, go to Billing → Invoices → View Only Unpaid Invoices in your customer account, select the invoice and choose Pay Now, then enter your card.

Renewing a service

To renew, select the order, click Renew, choose a tenure, review the total, click Proceed, pick a payment mode and choose Pay Now. Auto-renew is toggled on the individual order; payment mandates are managed under profile icon → Account and Security → Register a New Mandate. BigRock notes that auto-renew can fail when your wallet lacks funds or no card details are stored, in which case it emails a reminder to renew manually.

Troubleshooting a declined card

If BigRock shows a generic failure (older support listings mention messages such as "Unexpected Error Occured" during renewal), work through these common causes.

Insufficient balance

Your card must hold enough to cover the plan plus taxes, and sometimes a small authorisation hold. Top up your Coinepay card in the app and retry. Remember the advertised price is pre-tax, so the charged amount may be higher.

Billing address mismatch

If the billing name and address you type don't match what's on file for your card, the payment can be refused. Enter the exact details from your Coinepay profile. Use your real information only—don't invent an address to pass a check.

3-D Secure / verification failed

Many international card payments trigger a 3-D Secure step. If you can't complete it, make sure notifications are enabled in the Coinepay app and that you approve the prompt promptly, then retry the payment.

Merchant or region checks

BigRock says country checks can consider account information, IP address and bank account. Its stated service exclusions are Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria and Crimea. If you're ordering from an eligible location, make sure your account details are consistent and accurate. Don't attempt to disguise your location—keep everything to your genuine details.

Card type not accepted

If card payments repeatedly fail and the other causes are ruled out, the issue may be the card category or network BigRock accepts for your country, which isn't fully published. Reach out to Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the requirement, and consider BigRock's other listed methods for your region.

Refunds and cancellation to know about

BigRock's money-back help page lists a 30-day guarantee for shared hosting, limited to first-time accounts, and excludes renewals, auto-renewals, combination offers and plan changes. Its legal terms also exclude one-month plans from the guarantee and state that registered or renewed domains are non-refundable. Note there's a documented discrepancy over whether bundled add-ons are refundable, so contact BigRock before deleting an order if a refund matters. Any eligible refund returns to the originating payment method; BigRock mentions possible conversion and bank charges on returned funds.

Managing it all from Coinepay

Your Coinepay card activity is visible 24/7 in the dashboard and mobile app, so you can watch the BigRock charge land, keep enough balance for renewals, and spot any failed attempts quickly. If you run several web projects, a separate virtual card per project with its own spending limit makes reconciliation easier. For anything specific to your card—balance, limits or supported use—check the Coinepay app or reach the team on support or Telegram.

FAQ

Can I use a Coinepay virtual card to pay BigRock?

You can enter a Coinepay virtual card's number, expiry and CVV on BigRock's card payment screen. BigRock accepts credit cards for non-Indian customers and net banking, debit/credit cards, wallets and UPI for registered Indian customers, but it doesn't publish the exact card networks it accepts. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card is suitable before you buy.

Why was my card declined at BigRock checkout?

The most common reasons are insufficient balance (remember taxes are added on top of the advertised price), a billing address that doesn't match your card profile, an incomplete 3-D Secure verification, or regional checks. Fix the matching cause and retry, using only your real details.

How much does BigRock hosting cost?

At the time of writing (October 2026), BigRock's Linux shared hosting on the India-server selection advertised Standard at ₹69/month, Business at ₹159/month, Pro at ₹199/month and Ultimate at ₹249/month, with higher renewal rates and taxes added. Prices vary by region and product, so check BigRock's official pricing page for the current figure in your currency.

Where do I pay an unpaid BigRock invoice?

In your BigRock customer account, go to Billing → Invoices → View Only Unpaid Invoices, select the invoice and choose Pay Now, then enter your Coinepay card details.

Does BigRock offer a refund if I change my mind?

BigRock lists a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time shared-hosting accounts, excluding renewals, auto-renewals, combination offers, plan changes and one-month plans; domains are non-refundable once registered or renewed. Contact BigRock before deleting an order. Any refund returns to the original payment method and may incur conversion or bank charges.
