Target Circle 360™ is Target’s paid membership, separate from the free Target Circle™ program and the Target Circle™ Card. If you’re considering a Coinepay virtual card for a membership or an ordinary Target.com purchase, check the applicable payment rules first: Target accepts different methods for the two types of transaction. This guide covers what to prepare, how to enroll, and how to investigate a declined payment.
Check Target’s membership payment rules first
Target’s terms say a Target Circle 360 membership requires a valid credit card or Target Debit Card. Target GiftCards can pay for the initial membership purchase, but you must still provide an eligible card at sign-up for renewals. Other debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and third-party installment plans cannot pay membership fees. A payment method available for an ordinary Target purchase is therefore not necessarily eligible for Circle 360.
Before you buy, contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your virtual card meets Target’s credit-card requirement for this membership. You can also check Target’s current membership terms. Do not assume that having a card number, expiry date and CVV establishes eligibility, or that a card accepted for shopping will work for recurring membership charges.
Target lists American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa and certain other credit cards for ordinary Target.com and app purchases. That shopping list does not establish which cards Target will accept for Circle 360 membership fees. If you only want to place a regular order, follow the payment options shown in that order’s checkout rather than the membership instructions below.
Know the plans and where benefits apply
At the time of writing (October 2026), Target’s published U.S. price for Target Circle 360 is $99 per year for an Annual Membership or $10.99 per month for a Monthly Membership, with a 14-day free trial offered. The page also lists $49 per year or $4.99 per month while eligible for verified teachers, military members, college students, government-assistance recipients and eligible Target Circle Card holders. Taxes may be added. Check Target’s official Circle 360 pricing page and your checkout total for current prices, eligibility and trial terms before confirming.
Consider whether the benefits fit your address before paying. Target says Same Day Delivery is available through most, but not all, of the United States; enter your address or ZIP code in Target’s delivery flow to check. Its membership terms describe an eligible two-day-shipping benefit across all 50 states, Washington, D.C., APO/FPO addresses and Puerto Rico, subject to item and address exclusions. That shipping reach does not mean Same Day Delivery is offered at every address. Circle 360 also lists same-day delivery from more than 100 other retailers through Shipt, subject to exclusions.
What to prepare before checkout
- A Target account: You will need to sign in or create one during Circle 360 checkout. Use your real identity and accurate account information.
- An eligible membership payment card: Confirm that the card you intend to use meets Target’s stated credit-card requirement before relying on it for sign-up or renewal. If using a Target GiftCard for the initial fee, you still need an eligible renewal card.
- Accurate billing details: Enter the cardholder and billing information associated with your card. Do not substitute an invented address or another person’s details to try to pass a payment check.
- Available funds: Review the membership price, potential taxes and any other amount shown at checkout. Check your available balance in Coinepay before attempting payment.
- Delivery eligibility: Check the address or ZIP code where you expect to use delivery benefits. A membership payment does not change Target’s geographic or item restrictions.
If you do not yet have Coinepay card services, register with Coinepay and complete identity verification first. Coinepay provides virtual card details—card number, expiry date and CVV—through its self-service dashboard and mobile app. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions. Check the app or ask support if you need details about your card, available balance or a transaction.
How to enroll in Target Circle 360
- Find the membership on Target: On Target.com or in the Target app, search for Target Circle 360 membership. Read the current benefits, exclusions, price and trial terms shown there.
- Choose a plan: Select the Annual Membership or Monthly Membership offered to you. If Target presents a discounted rate, verify that you qualify rather than assuming the discount applies automatically.
- Sign in or create a Target account: Follow Target’s account prompts. Use your real information and review the contact details attached to the account.
- Review the payment step: If Coinepay support has confirmed that your virtual card meets Target’s membership requirement, retrieve its card number, expiry date and CVV from Coinepay and enter them where Target requests card details. Enter accurate billing information. If eligibility has not been confirmed, do not assume the card will work; use a payment method that meets Target’s terms.
- Check the final screen: Review the plan, any trial, the amount due now, the renewal terms and the payment method before you submit. Complete any legitimate payment verification requested during checkout; never share a one-time security code with someone who contacts you unexpectedly.
- Confirm the result: Look for Target’s order or membership confirmation instead of treating a pending card transaction alone as proof that enrollment succeeded. In your Target account, check Memberships for membership status and Orders for membership-fee order details.
If you are buying products rather than joining Circle 360, add items to your cart and use the payment options displayed at ordinary Target checkout. Review the delivery address, item eligibility and total there. Acceptance of a card for that purchase does not establish that it can later pay a Circle 360 fee.
What to check when a card is declined
A declined checkout does not, by itself, identify the cause. Target’s published guidance says a payment decline can mean the issuing bank declined the charge and directs customers to ask the issuer why. For a Coinepay card, gather the time, amount and any transaction details visible in the app, then contact Coinepay support if you cannot identify the issue. Avoid repeated submissions while a charge is pending.
- Insufficient balance: Compare the available balance with the full amount Target displays, including applicable taxes. If the balance is too low, add funds through the options available in your Coinepay account and check again before retrying.
- Billing address mismatch: Recheck the name, billing address, expiry date and CVV you entered. Correct genuine typos using your real cardholder information; do not change your address to one you do not use simply to make a payment pass.
- Payment verification or 3-D Secure: If checkout presents an authentication step, follow the instructions shown by the legitimate payment flow. If it times out or fails, check your Coinepay app for transaction information and ask support what happened. Do not assume a particular verification method is available for every card or transaction.
- Membership card eligibility: Circle 360 excludes other debit cards even though ordinary shopping accepts a broader set of methods. If Target rejects the card during membership enrollment, ask Coinepay support whether it meets Target’s credit-card requirement before trying again.
- Merchant region or delivery checks: Check that your Target account information and intended delivery address are accurate, and test your ZIP code in Target’s delivery flow. A card cannot remove a geographic restriction on a benefit or an item. Contact Target about an address, item or checkout restriction shown on its site.
If Target shows a charge but not an active membership, check Orders and Memberships before making another attempt. For a card-decline reason, ask Coinepay support; for a membership status or Target checkout issue, contact Target through its official help channels.
Manage renewals, payment details and cancellation
After enrollment, manage or cancel Circle 360 under your Target account’s Memberships section. Target places membership-fee order details under Orders, while card editing and deletion are under My Account → Wallet. Check your membership’s renewal information whenever you change its payment card; updating an ordinary shopping payment method is not a reason to assume a future membership charge will succeed.
Target may attempt a different payment card saved to your account if a renewal fails. If it still cannot complete the renewal, the membership may expire or be canceled. To prevent the next membership charge, cancel under Memberships before renewal. If you start a free trial and do not want the first paid charge, cancel before the trial ends. Target says membership fees are nonrefundable, so review the terms and timing before you confirm a purchase or allow a trial to convert.
