Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales is a customer relationship management (CRM) platform that businesses use to manage leads, opportunities and pipeline. If you want to pay for it with a Coinepay virtual card, this guide walks through what you need, how the Microsoft sign-up and checkout flow works, and how to troubleshoot a card that gets declined.
Before you start, note one important Microsoft policy: business subscription purchases require a payment method issued in the same country or region as your Microsoft tenant, and Microsoft states that prepaid and gift cards are not accepted. Because the Coinepay card's type is managed in your account, the sensible first step is to contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets Microsoft's requirement before you commit to a paid plan.
What you need before you start
- A registered, KYC-verified Coinepay account. If you do not have one yet, create an account and complete identity verification first.
- A Coinepay virtual card with its card number, expiry date and CVV, which you can view in the Coinepay dashboard or the iOS or Android app.
- Enough available balance on the card to cover the first charge plus any applicable tax or VAT, which Microsoft often excludes from displayed prices.
- A Microsoft work account (your business email), plus your organization name, country/region and phone number.
- Your real, current billing address that matches what Microsoft and your card record on file.
Choose your Dynamics 365 Sales plan
Microsoft lists several Sales plans on its official pricing page: Dynamics 365 Sales Professional, Sales Enterprise Edition, Sales Premium, and Microsoft Relationship Sales (Sales Enterprise bundled with LinkedIn Sales Navigator). There is also a free trial.
Prices are shown per user, per month, billed yearly, and vary by region. At the time of writing (October 2026), Microsoft's United States page showed Professional at US$65, Enterprise Edition at US$105 and Premium at US$150, with Relationship Sales priced variably and requiring at least 10 seats. Other regions differ: the United Kingdom page showed £50 / £80.70 / £115.30 (VAT excluded) and Germany showed €56.30 / €91 / €130 (VAT excluded). Microsoft notes that the actual checkout total can differ from the displayed price because of currency, country and regional variants, so always confirm the final amount on the official pricing page for your region before paying.
Microsoft Relationship Sales cannot be bought directly online — it goes through a Microsoft representative or partner, so the card checkout below does not apply to it.
Start a free trial (optional)
If you want to evaluate first, select Try for free on the pricing page, enter a work-account email, and follow the prompts for your organization, country/region and phone number. Microsoft may ask for card details during sign-up. The Sales trial runs for 30 days. Check the trial's actual billing status in your admin center rather than assuming it will convert to a paid subscription — Microsoft's guidance is to switch off recurring billing if the trial has it enabled so you are not charged unexpectedly.
Step-by-step: buy and pay with your Coinepay card
- Add funds and check your card. In the Coinepay app, make sure your virtual card is active and has enough balance for the first charge plus tax. Copy the card number, expiry and CVV when you reach the payment screen.
- Begin the purchase. On the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales pricing page, select Buy now for the plan you want. If you already run a Microsoft 365 organization, you can instead go to the Microsoft 365 admin center → Billing → Purchase services, choose the Sales subscription, set the quantity (number of seats) and billing frequency.
- Enter your billing details. Provide your organization's real billing address. For a Microsoft Online Subscription Agreement (MOSA) account, checkout uses a selected or new payment method. For a Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA) account, checkout uses a selected or new billing profile.
- Add the card as a payment method. Enter your Coinepay card number, expiry date, CVV and the billing address exactly as it appears on your Coinepay profile. Keep the country/region consistent with your Microsoft tenant.
- Complete any verification. If your bank or card issuer triggers 3-D Secure, approve the prompt in the Coinepay app to authorize the charge.
- Place the order. Review the final total, including tax, then select Place order. Microsoft confirms the subscription and provisions your Sales licenses.
If your card is declined
Microsoft sends a payment-failure email and shows a "declined" message when a charge does not go through. The documented causes map directly to things you can check:
Insufficient balance
The charge includes tax or VAT that may not appear in the advertised price. Top up your Coinepay card so the available balance comfortably covers the full checkout total, then retry.
Billing address or card detail mismatch
Microsoft lists mismatched card or billing-address details as a common cause. Make sure the name, number, expiry, CVV and billing address you entered match your Coinepay records exactly — even a wrong postcode or an outdated address can trigger a decline.
3-D Secure not completed
If an authentication prompt appears and times out or is dismissed, the payment fails. Keep the Coinepay app open during checkout so you can approve the verification immediately.
Inactive card or bank security block
Confirm the card is active in your Coinepay dashboard and not frozen or expired. If everything looks correct, the issuer may have placed a temporary security block; contact Coinepay support for help.
Region and card-type checks
This is the most important one for Microsoft. The payment method must be issued in your tenant's country/region, and Microsoft does not accept prepaid or gift cards for business subscriptions. If your purchase is rejected on these grounds, do not try to work around Microsoft's checks — instead, ask Coinepay support to confirm whether your card satisfies Microsoft's country and card-type requirements. Use your real billing country; never enter an address or region you are not actually based in.
Regional payment alternatives
In some markets Microsoft supports non-card options for eligible established accounts: SEPA Direct Debit in Austria, Germany and the Netherlands; Boleto or Pix in Brazil; and one-time UPI or NetBanking in India. If a card will not work for your account, one of these may be available on your billing profile.
Manage billing, renewal and cancellation
After you subscribe, your settings live in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Open Billing → Your products → [subscription] for subscription billing settings, Billing → Bills & payments → Payment methods to update or replace the card, and Billing → Billing accounts for MCA billing-profile settings.
On cancellations, Microsoft's policy for eligible MCA subscriptions bought directly or through a partner is that cancelling within seven days of the start or renewal gives a prorated credit or refund; after that window you turn off recurring billing and keep access through the paid term. An annual term paid monthly stays payable for its remaining months. MOSA cancellations follow Microsoft's separate prorated-refund policy, and seller-led proposals require contacting the seller. Always confirm the current terms on Microsoft's own pages.
Keep enough balance for renewals
Dynamics 365 Sales is a recurring subscription, so set a reminder to keep your Coinepay card funded ahead of each renewal date. A failed renewal can interrupt your team's access. You can check your card balance and transactions any time in the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app, which is available 24/7. For anything card-related, reach the team through support or Telegram.

FAQ
Does Microsoft accept prepaid cards for Dynamics 365 Sales?
Microsoft's guidance for business subscriptions states that prepaid and gift cards are not accepted and that the payment method must be issued in your tenant's country or region. Before buying, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets this requirement.
How much does Dynamics 365 Sales cost?
Prices vary by region and plan. At the time of writing (October 2026), Microsoft's US page showed Sales Professional at US$65, Enterprise Edition at US$105 and Premium at US$150 per user per month billed yearly. Microsoft also notes the checkout total can differ, so check the official pricing page for your region.
Why was my Coinepay card declined at Microsoft checkout?
Common causes Microsoft lists are insufficient funds, mismatched card or billing-address details, an inactive card, a bank security block, or a card issued outside your tenant's country/region. Check each of these in the Coinepay app, and complete any 3-D Secure prompt during checkout.
Can I pay for Microsoft Relationship Sales with a card online?
No. Microsoft Relationship Sales is purchased through a Microsoft representative or partner rather than direct online checkout, and it requires at least 10 seats with variable pricing. The card checkout flow applies to Professional, Enterprise Edition and Premium.
Will the Sales free trial charge my card automatically?
Not necessarily. The Sales trial lasts 30 days. Check the trial's actual billing status in the Microsoft 365 admin center; if recurring billing is enabled, switch it off to avoid an unexpected charge rather than assuming every trial converts to paid.
