To pay for a Luma AI subscription, first decide which Luma product you need: the Luma App, Dream Machine, and the API have separate billing arrangements. This guide focuses on paying for a Luma App plan through web checkout with a Coinepay virtual card. It also explains the different checkout and subscription-management steps documented for Dream Machine.
Before you start: choose the right Luma product
Luma AI, Inc. publishes Luma App pricing at lumalabs.ai. Its individual paid plans are Plus, Pro, and Ultra; Team and Enterprise are quoted for businesses. You can try the App before selecting a paid plan. Check the plan details on Luma’s official pricing page to decide which features and billing period fit your work.
At the time of writing (October 2026), the published US-dollar Luma App prices are $30 per month or $300 billed yearly for Plus, $90 per month or $900 billed yearly for Pro, and $300 per month or $3,000 billed yearly for Ultra. These are published list prices, not a promise about your final checkout total. Confirm the plan name, price, currency, billing period, and any applicable charges on Luma’s official pricing page and checkout before paying.
Do not confuse the products. Dream Machine has its own published plan names—Free, Lite, Plus, Unlimited, and Enterprise—and its subscriptions and credits do not apply to Luma’s API. If you intend to use an API rather than an App subscription, check the API’s own billing information before buying an App or Dream Machine plan. Likewise, check that you are on Luma AI’s lumalabs.ai service rather than a similarly named, unrelated website.
What you need to pay with Coinepay
- A Luma account registered with your real identity and contact details, plus access to the email or sign-in method associated with it.
- A Coinepay account with completed identity verification. Coinepay requires registration and KYC before you can use its card services.
- A Coinepay virtual card with its card number, expiry date, and CVV available in your Coinepay dashboard or mobile app.
- Enough available funds for the total shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes or currency conversion. Check your available balance in Coinepay rather than relying only on Luma’s list price.
- Your genuine billing details. Enter the details associated with your payment account where checkout requests them; do not substitute a made-up address or someone else’s identity.
If you have not set up Coinepay, register for Coinepay and complete verification before attempting payment. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions. You can manage your card through Coinepay’s 24/7 self-service dashboard or its iOS app and Android app. Check the app or contact Coinepay support if you need to confirm a card setting or the funds required for a particular purchase.
How to subscribe to the Luma App on the web
- Open the official Luma App. Go to Luma AI’s lumalabs.ai website and enter the App. Follow its sign-up or sign-in prompts, using your own account information. Sign-in options can differ between Luma products, so use the options actually presented for the App.
- Review the current plans. Compare Plus, Pro, and Ultra on Luma’s pricing page, then select the plan and monthly or annual billing period you want. If you are buying for a business, review the Team or Enterprise quotation process instead of assuming an individual plan covers your needs.
- Check the order before entering card details. On the resulting checkout, verify that the product, plan name, renewal frequency, currency, and final amount match what you intended. In particular, check the name on the checkout itself: older Luma material has used the Plus and Pro names differently from the current pricing page.
- Enter your Coinepay card details. Copy the card number, expiry date, and CVV from your Coinepay dashboard or app into the card fields. Supply your real billing information if requested, and review it for typing errors before submitting.
- Complete any payment verification. If checkout asks for an additional authentication step, follow the on-screen instructions. Do not repeatedly resubmit a payment while a verification prompt is pending.
- Confirm the result. Return to your Luma account and check whether the intended plan is active. Keep the order confirmation or receipt and review the corresponding card activity in Coinepay. If the result is unclear, check both accounts before trying again to avoid an unintended second purchase.
The newer Luma App’s exact billing-menu labels may change. Use the account settings displayed in your App account to review subscription details. For questions about an App charge or account setting, Luma lists [email protected] as its support contact.
If you are buying Dream Machine instead
Dream Machine’s documented web sign-up starts with Try Now, followed by Continue with Google or Sign in with Apple. Use the same sign-in identity when you return. On the Dream Machine website, select your profile picture at the bottom left, choose Manage Subscription, and select a plan through its Stripe checkout. Its documentation describes credit or debit cards, bank payments, and Cash App Pay as web checkout methods; use the options shown in your own checkout.
Dream Machine purchases made on an iPhone use the payment methods available to your Apple ID rather than Dream Machine’s web card form. In the iOS app, Profile → Subscription → Manage Subscription opens Apple’s purchase management. If you specifically want to enter your Coinepay card at Luma’s web checkout, start on the website; adding a card to an Apple ID is a separate Apple payment setup. Manage a web purchase on Luma’s website and an iOS purchase through Apple.
Troubleshooting a declined card payment
Luma’s payment guidance identifies insufficient funds and expired or outdated payment details as possible causes of failure. It does not provide one universal error message for every declined card, so start with the message shown in your checkout and the card activity visible in Coinepay.
- Insufficient balance: Compare your available Coinepay funds with the checkout total, not just the plan’s advertised price. Account for any tax or currency difference shown before you confirm. If funds are insufficient, add funds using the options available in your Coinepay account, then retry once the balance reflects them.
- Billing-address mismatch: Recheck the name, address, postal code, and other requested billing fields for mistakes. Use your genuine billing details. If your information has changed, update it through the appropriate account or support process rather than entering an address chosen merely to pass a check.
- Expired details or 3-D Secure verification: Confirm that the number, expiry date, and CVV match the card currently displayed by Coinepay. If checkout presents a 3-D Secure or other authentication challenge, complete it as prompted and return to checkout. If verification fails or no prompt arrives, note where the process stopped and contact Coinepay support to ask whether the attempted transaction needs attention.
- Merchant region checks: Luma’s terms make no assurance that its services are available outside the US and prohibit access where it would be illegal or contrary to applicable export restrictions. If checkout rejects your location or payment details, confirm that your location and use are eligible under Luma’s terms. Do not change your address or use a VPN to bypass a restriction. Ask Luma about eligibility and Coinepay support about the card transaction if the cause is unclear.
- iPhone purchase problems: If you started the purchase in Dream Machine’s iOS app, check your Apple ID payment settings and Apple’s purchase status. Luma also identifies Apple in-app-purchase connectivity problems as a possible cause; a Coinepay web-card issue and an Apple purchase issue call for different troubleshooting.
If a payment remains unresolved, record the time, amount, product, and exact on-screen message. Share only the information support needs—never send your full card number or CVV in a support message.
Manage renewals and cancellation
Luma subscriptions renew automatically. Under Luma’s terms, a cancellation must be received at least one day before the current term ends to avoid the next charge. Check the subscription settings in your Luma account or email [email protected] if you need help cancelling. For Dream Machine web subscriptions, use Manage Subscription; Luma says access continues through the paid period. Cancel Dream Machine iOS purchases through Apple’s subscriptions management. Deleting a Luma account is not a substitute for cancelling a subscription.
For Luma App payments, fees are generally final, although Luma says an unused plan may qualify for a refund. Its billing policy limits refunds to the most recent billing period. Send a request with your account email and relevant details to [email protected]; approval is not guaranteed. For a Dream Machine purchase billed by Apple, request any refund from Apple instead.
