You can enter a Coinepay virtual card at Krisp’s checkout when upgrading an AI Meeting Assistant account. This guide covers what to prepare, where to find Krisp’s subscription controls, and what to check if a card payment does not go through. Krisp decides whether to accept a payment, so review the final checkout details before submitting it.
What you need before paying
- A Krisp account. Krisp supports sign-up with an email verification code or Google or Microsoft sign-in. Its AI Meeting Assistant sign-up normally asks you to connect a Google or Outlook calendar; Krisp also describes a zero-calendar-permissions route on its pricing page.
- A verified Coinepay account. You must register and complete identity verification before using Coinepay card services. You can register with Coinepay and manage your card in its self-service dashboard or mobile app.
- Your virtual card details. Coinepay issues a virtual card number, expiry date, and CVV. Have those details ready for Krisp’s checkout, and use your real billing information.
- Enough available funds. Allow for the complete amount shown at checkout, including any tax. If you choose annual billing or multiple seats, check the total rather than relying on a per-user monthly figure.
Krisp’s payment-method help lists Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Discover, JCB, American Express, and Diners Club International. That list does not establish whether a particular Coinepay card will be accepted. Check the payment options presented in your Krisp checkout and contact Coinepay support if you need help confirming your card details before buying.
Choose the right Krisp plan and billing cycle
For AI Meeting Assistant, Krisp lists Free Trial, Core, Advanced, and Enterprise. The seven-day Free Trial requires no card. Core and Advanced have monthly and annual billing options; Enterprise has custom pricing and requires a sales conversation. These are Meeting Assistant plans: Krisp lists separate Call Center AI and developer products, so confirm that you are upgrading the account and product you intend to use.
At the time of writing (October 2026), Krisp’s public pricing page listed Core at US$16 per user per month on monthly billing, or US$8 per user per month billed annually. It listed Advanced at US$30 per user per month on monthly billing, or US$15 per user per month billed annually. These are public list prices, not your final checkout quote. Check Krisp’s official pricing page and the amount displayed at checkout for current pricing, seat totals, and applicable tax.
If you need a team subscription, review the seat count carefully before submitting the upgrade. A per-user price multiplied by several seats, or an annual charge collected in one payment, can be materially different from the headline monthly figure. For a team seeking invoice payment, Krisp says to discuss that option with a Krisp account executive rather than assuming it is available in self-service checkout.
How to subscribe to Krisp with your Coinepay card
- Create and verify your accounts. Complete Coinepay registration and identity verification. Create a Krisp account using its email-code flow or a supported Google or Microsoft sign-in. Follow Krisp’s prompts for the Meeting Assistant setup you choose.
- Open your Coinepay card details. In the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app, locate the virtual card you plan to use. Check its available funds against the amount you expect to pay, then keep the card number, expiry date, and CVV accessible for checkout.
- Navigate to the Krisp upgrade. Sign in to the Krisp account dashboard and go to Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription → Upgrade.
- Select the subscription. Choose the available plan, billing cycle, and seat count that suit your needs. Check whether the selection is billed monthly or annually and review the resulting total.
- Enter checkout information. Type your Coinepay virtual card details and your genuine billing details into Krisp’s checkout. If you select the United States as your billing country, Krisp requires a ZIP code to display state sales tax. Use your actual billing ZIP code and inspect the final tax-inclusive amount.
- Review and submit. Check the plan, number of seats, billing cycle, and final charge, then submit Upgrade. If checkout asks you to complete a card-security step, follow the instructions shown rather than restarting the payment immediately.
- Confirm the subscription. Return to Settings → Billing → Plan Details to review the subscription details and renewal amount. Core and Advanced team admins can also view payment details and invoice history on the Billing page.
If Krisp offers a different payment option on your device, do not assume it will appear everywhere. Krisp’s terms mention Apple Pay and Google Pay as supported methods depending on country, device, and platform; their availability in a particular web checkout must be checked there.
What to do if Krisp declines the card
A declined payment does not, by itself, identify the cause. Krisp names authorization failure, an expired card, insufficient funds, and digital-wallet issues among possible payment failures. Start with the information visible in checkout and your Coinepay account; avoid repeatedly submitting an unchanged payment.
Insufficient balance or an unexpected total
Compare your available card funds with Krisp’s final charge, not just the advertised per-user rate. Recheck whether you selected annual billing, added seats, or owe applicable tax. If funds are insufficient, arrange funding through the options available in your Coinepay account and try again once the available amount covers the charge.
Card details or billing address mismatch
Re-enter the card number, expiry date, and CVV exactly as shown in Coinepay. Check that the card has not expired. Use your real name and billing address, including the correct postal or ZIP code; do not substitute an address from another country to make checkout appear eligible. If the information is correct but payment still fails, ask Coinepay support to help investigate the authorization.
3-D Secure or another authentication step
If checkout requests additional card verification, complete the prompt as presented and return to Krisp to see whether the payment finished. A closed, timed-out, or incomplete authentication flow may leave the upgrade unfinished. If you cannot complete a requested step, contact Coinepay support with the time and amount of the attempt. Do not assume that every payment will require the same verification flow.
Merchant region or payment-method checks
Krisp says payment-method availability varies by country. A declined transaction may need review by Krisp or the card provider even when the balance and billing details appear correct. Confirm that your actual location and billing information meet Krisp’s requirements, then ask Krisp support about checkout availability for your account. Coinepay cannot override Krisp’s payment decisions or regional rules. For a card-specific question, contact Coinepay support as well.
Manage renewals, payment details, or cancellation
Krisp subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Review the renewal amount under Settings → Billing → Plan Details. To change the card on your account, use Settings → Billing → Update payment method. Keeping a usable payment method and sufficient funds available can help avoid an interrupted renewal.
If a Stripe-processed card renewal fails, Krisp says it retries on days 3, 10, and 19 after the failure and cancels the subscription if all attempts fail. Krisp also warns that failed payments can result in suspended or terminated access. Check your billing page and resolve the payment issue rather than relying on a later retry.
To cancel a Core or Advanced subscription, go to Settings → Billing → Plan Details → Manage Subscription → Downgrade. Krisp says paid features remain available until the current billing cycle ends. Its terms generally treat ordinary subscription payments, including a renewal not cancelled in time, as non-refundable. Enterprise or other contracted customers should check their agreement for different renewal and cancellation terms.
