You can enter a Coinepay virtual card at Disney+ checkout, but payment is subject to Disney’s acceptance rules. In particular, Disney says it does not accept international cards and requires the card’s billing-address country or region to match the country or region where you sign up. Check that requirement before subscribing; having a virtual card does not mean Disney will accept it.
What you need before starting
- A Coinepay account and virtual card. Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Your card number, expiry date and CVV are available when your virtual card is issued.
- Your real account and billing details. Use your own email address, identity and accurate billing information. Check the card’s applicable details in the Coinepay app or dashboard rather than guessing a billing address.
- A Disney+ plan available in your location. Disney+ is not offered in every country. Review the plans and checkout total shown on DisneyPlus.com for your location before paying.
- Enough available funds for the charge. Allow for the actual checkout total, which may differ from a displayed base price because of taxes or promotions. Check your available funds and any applicable card settings in Coinepay.
Important card-region restriction: Disney says international cards are not accepted, and the card’s billing-address country or region must match your sign-up country or region. Contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets this requirement before you buy. Do not change your address or location information to make it appear that you qualify.
Choose the right Disney+ subscription
Plan names, prices and features differ by country. In the United States, Disney lists the standalone options as Disney+ (With Ads), sold as Disney+, and Disney+ Premium (No Ads). It also offers Disney+/Hulu and Disney+/Hulu/ESPN bundles; those are separate bundle choices, not additional standalone Disney+ tiers.
In the United Kingdom, the standalone tiers are Disney+ Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard and Disney+ Premium. Canada and Australia also list ad-supported Standard, Standard and Premium options. In those markets, the ad-supported tier has no downloads; Standard offers downloads and up to two concurrent streams, while Premium offers downloads, up to four streams and up to 4K where supported. An ad-free label does not necessarily exclude ads or promotional material from certain live, linear or promotional content.
Prices vary by region and can change. Check Disney+’s official pricing page and the final checkout amount for your location. If you select a monthly or annual option, note its renewal terms before confirming payment.
How to sign up and pay on DisneyPlus.com
- Prepare your card. Open the Coinepay app or 24/7 self-service dashboard. Confirm that your virtual card is available, review its card number, expiry date and CVV, and check your available funds. If you need clarification about card details or settings, ask Coinepay support before submitting payment.
- Start on DisneyPlus.com. Use Disney’s website for a new direct-billed subscription. New and returning subscribers cannot newly sign up and pay through Apple, Google or Amazon, although people already billed through those providers are unaffected.
- Create your Disney+ account. Enter your email address and create a password when prompted. If you are activating from a television, Disney may instead display an eight-digit code for you to enter in a browser before reviewing the order and paying.
- Select your subscription. Choose the available standalone plan or bundle you want. Review whether it is billed monthly or annually, the displayed total and the renewal details. Do not assume a price or offer shown for another country applies to your account.
- Enter the card details. At Disney’s payment step, enter the Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV. Provide your real billing details as requested. Before continuing, verify that the billing-address country or region matches your Disney+ sign-up country or region and that your card meets Disney’s international-card rule.
- Complete checkout. Follow any verification instructions presented during payment, then review the result. Do not assume the subscription is active until Disney confirms it. You can then sign in to Disney+ on a supported device using the account you created.
If you already have Disney+ and a partner bills you, adding a card on DisneyPlus.com may not change how that subscription is charged. Check who bills your subscription first.
What to do if Disney+ declines the card
Disney documents the message “We could not complete your payment request using the card information you supplied.” That message does not identify the precise cause. Work through the checks below instead of repeatedly submitting unchanged details.
Check the amount and card information
Compare the available funds with Disney’s full checkout amount, not just the advertised plan price. Then carefully re-enter the card number, CVV and expiry date. Check that the card has not expired. If Disney asks for a billing ZIP or postal code, enter the accurate one associated with your billing details. Disney lists insufficient funds, expired cards and incorrect card information among possible payment problems.
Check your billing address and region
Make sure your real billing address is entered consistently and that its country or region matches where you are signing up. Disney says it does not accept international cards and may decline a payment when the card’s billing-address country differs from the sign-up country. If you are unsure whether the Coinepay card qualifies, stop and contact Coinepay support before trying again. Disney+ availability itself also varies by location.
Check any payment-verification prompt
If checkout requests 3-D Secure or another cardholder verification step, follow the instructions shown and complete it only through the legitimate payment flow. A timed-out, closed or unsuccessful prompt can interrupt checkout. If no prompt appears, or verification fails, check the transaction and any available card information in Coinepay, then contact support for help identifying the next step. Do not assume a particular verification method is available for your card.
Consider other issuer or location checks
Disney also lists an unsupported issuer or a declined card as possible causes. A payment error alone cannot tell you whether either applies. Disney identifies VPN use during payment as another possible problem; use your actual location rather than attempting to bypass a regional restriction. If the details, funds and region checks look correct, contact Disney+ support about its checkout decision and Coinepay support about any card-side decline information available to you.
Manage the payment method or cancel later
For a subscription billed directly by Disney, open DisneyPlus.com in a browser and go to Profile → Account → subscription → Payment Method → Change to update payment details. The account’s plans-and-billing area also shows your plan, next billing date, payment method and cancellation options. To cancel a directly billed subscription, use Profile → Account → subscription → Cancel Subscription and complete the prompt. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the billing period, or at the end of an agreed minimum term.
If Apple, Google, Amazon or another partner bills you, manage payment and cancellation with that billing partner instead. Disney’s published terms say partially used periods generally do not receive a refund or credit, except where required by law or granted case by case. Check the terms that apply to your country and billing provider before making changes.

FAQ
Can I use any Coinepay virtual card for Disney+?
Not necessarily. Disney says it does not accept international cards and requires the card’s billing-address country or region to match your sign-up country or region. Contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets that requirement before you buy.
Why does Disney+ say it could not complete my payment request?
The message does not identify one cause. Check the available funds, card number, CVV, expiry date and real billing details, then consider verification, issuer and region checks.
Where do I change my card for a Disney-billed subscription?
In a browser, open DisneyPlus.com and go to Profile → Account → subscription → Payment Method → Change. If a partner bills you, update payment details with that partner.
Can I sign up and pay for a new Disney+ subscription through an app store?
New and returning subscribers cannot newly sign up and pay through Apple, Google or Amazon. Sign up on DisneyPlus.com; existing subscriptions billed by those providers are unaffected.
