Coinepay Global Remittance supports transfers from Kuwait to the Philippines. You can choose an available bank deposit, mobile wallet or cash pickup option, review the exchange rate and fees before confirming, and track the transfer afterward. This guide explains what to prepare and what your recipient needs for each payout method.
What to prepare before sending
Register for a Coinepay account and complete identity verification before starting a transfer. Have your own accurate identity information ready, along with the recipient’s full legal name as it appears on their bank, wallet or identification records. Ask the recipient to confirm their details directly rather than relying on an old payment instruction.
You will also need the payout details for the method you select. For a Philippine bank deposit, these commonly include the bank name, account holder’s name, account number and purpose of transfer. The selected route may ask for the recipient’s address or mobile number. For a wallet payout, ask for the mobile number registered to the recipient’s eligible wallet and confirm that the wallet profile is in their name. For cash pickup, make sure the recipient can present an accepted government-issued photo ID bearing the name you enter.
The local currency is the Philippine peso (PHP). Select the destination and payout currency shown in Coinepay, then check the amount the recipient is shown to receive before you confirm. If you need a particular receiving currency or account type, check the available route in the app before paying.
Choose a Philippine payout method
Coinepay supports bank deposit, mobile wallet and cash pickup payouts. The specific options displayed for your Kuwait-to-Philippines transfer determine which one you can select. Confirm the recipient can use your chosen method before you enter their details.
Bank account deposit
Ask the recipient for their full account name, Philippine bank name and account number exactly as recorded by the bank. Philippine account-number formats vary by bank, so do not add or remove digits to make a number fit an assumed format. The transfer may also require a purpose of payment, address or mobile number. BDO, BPI, Landbank and Metrobank are examples of banks a Philippine recipient might use; enter the recipient’s actual bank rather than choosing one by example.
Do not invent a Philippine IBAN: the Philippines does not have a registered national IBAN format. For a local bank-account payout, use the account number and any other fields the selected Coinepay route requests. If a transfer is specifically routed as an international SWIFT wire, ask the receiving bank for its SWIFT/BIC, the correct account and beneficiary details, and whether branch information is required. A SWIFT/BIC is not automatically needed for every local deposit; follow the fields shown for the payout method you choose.
Check that the receiving account accepts the kind of payment being sent. For example, domestic PHP receiving details provided by another service might not accept an international SWIFT wire. When uncertain, have the recipient verify the account instructions with their bank or account provider before you confirm.
Mobile wallet
GCash and Maya are familiar Philippine mobile wallets. Select a wallet only if it appears among the available payout choices in Coinepay for this transfer. Ask the recipient to check that their wallet profile is verified, their registered mobile number is correct and the wallet can receive the intended payment. Other Philippine wallet or collection networks may have different enrollment and receiving requirements; the option shown in the app is the one to follow.
Enter the recipient’s legal name and wallet details as requested. A mobile number used for messages or calls is not necessarily the number linked to their wallet. Have the recipient read the number from their wallet account settings and confirm it with you before sending.
Cash pickup
Choose an available cash pickup option if the recipient prefers to collect funds in person rather than receive them in an account. Enter their name exactly as it appears on their government-issued photo ID and check the pickup instructions shown for the selected route. After the transfer is ready for collection, the recipient will generally need the transfer details, including its tracking or reference number, and their photo ID. Tell them to follow the pickup instructions for the designated location and to check its operating hours before traveling.
How to send money from Kuwait to the Philippines
- Sign in to your verified Coinepay account. Use the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app. If you have not registered, create an account and complete identity verification first.
- Start a Global Remittance transfer. Choose the Philippines as the destination, enter the amount and select the available payout currency and method. Check that the displayed option matches how your recipient intends to receive the money.
- Enter the recipient information. Supply their full legal name and the details requested for bank deposit, mobile wallet or cash pickup. Add the purpose of transfer and any other information the route asks for. Compare each entry with information the recipient has confirmed.
- Review before confirming. Coinepay shows the exchange rate and fees before you confirm a transfer. Check the amount, currency, recipient name and payout details together. If something is wrong, correct it before proceeding.
- Confirm and track the transfer. Submit the transfer only after the review is complete. Keep its reference information and follow its status in Coinepay’s dashboard or app. Share pickup information with the intended recipient securely if the chosen method requires it.
You can manage the transfer in the Coinepay mobile app on iOS or Android. If a required destination, currency or payout option is not displayed, do not substitute unrelated banking details. Contact Coinepay support to ask about the available route.
What the recipient should check
For a bank deposit, the recipient should confirm the account is active, the account name and number match their bank records, and the account can accept the selected payout. For a wallet, they should check its verification and receiving eligibility. For cash pickup, they should have the requested transfer details and valid photo ID, with a name matching the transfer.
Receiving requirements can depend on the payment’s purpose, the recipient and the payout provider. A bank or provider may request information to meet its own checks. Do not assume that every personal transfer, business payment or overseas salary remittance has identical documentation or tax treatment. If the recipient needs advice about their particular reporting or tax obligations, they should consult a qualified local adviser.
Troubleshoot a delayed or unsuccessful transfer
- Wrong recipient details: Check the transfer status and contact Coinepay support promptly with the reference number. An incorrect account number, wallet number or name can prevent payment or send it to the wrong destination. Do not send a replacement transfer until you understand what happened to the original.
- Compliance review: Transfers are subject to identity verification, sanctions screening and local regulations. Coinepay may ask for documents showing the purpose of payment or source of funds. Provide accurate information through the requested channel and monitor the transfer status.
- Recipient has not received the money: Check whether the status shows further action is needed. Ask the recipient to verify their bank or wallet details, or the pickup instructions. Recipient action, provider checks, local operating hours and time-zone differences can affect progress. Contact support if the status is unclear.
- Returned transfer: Review the status and any explanation provided. Confirm the receiving account or wallet is eligible and that its details are correct before deciding whether to send again. Ask Coinepay support how the return is being handled if the app does not explain the next step.
Coinepay does not serve sanctioned persons or residents of jurisdictions under comprehensive sanctions. Never use another person’s account or alter recipient details to bypass a check. If you need help with a Kuwait-to-Philippines transfer, provide the transfer reference when you contact support.
