Coinepay Global Remittance supports transfers from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan. You can choose an available bank deposit, mobile-wallet payout or cash pickup, then review the exchange rate and fees before confirming. This guide explains what to prepare, what your recipient needs and what to do if a transfer is delayed.

What you need before sending

Register for a Coinepay account and complete identity verification before starting a transfer. You can manage transfers through the Coinepay mobile app or 24/7 self-service dashboard. Have your own accurate identity details ready, along with the recipient’s full legal name as it appears on their bank or wallet account, or on the identification they will use for cash pickup.

Ask the recipient which payout method they can use. For a bank deposit, get their account details directly from their bank or banking app rather than copying them from an old message. For a wallet payout, confirm their registered name and mobile number. For cash pickup, confirm that they can present valid identification and reach an available pickup location. The exact fields and payout options appear when you set up the transfer.

You may also be asked for the purpose of the payment and your relationship to the recipient. Financial institutions in Saudi Arabia collect information about senders and beneficiaries for wire transfers, and Coinepay transfers are subject to identity verification, sanctions screening and local regulations. Coinepay may request supporting documents, such as evidence of the purpose of payment or source of funds. Provide complete, truthful information; do not send on someone else’s behalf to avoid a check.

Choose a payout method in Pakistan

Pakistan’s local currency is the Pakistan rupee (PKR). Check the receiving currency and the amount your recipient is shown to receive in the Coinepay app before you confirm. Payout availability and required details depend on the destination and the selected transaction.

Bank deposit

For a deposit to a Pakistani bank account, request the recipient’s full legal name and IBAN. A Pakistani IBAN has 24 characters: it begins with PK, followed by two check digits, a four-letter bank identifier and a 16-character account-code field. Ask the recipient to copy the full IBAN from their bank records and verify every character. A familiar local account number alone may not be the detail requested in the transfer form.

The form may also ask for the bank’s SWIFT/BIC, the recipient’s address or mobile number, or another bank detail. Enter only the information requested for that payout, using details supplied or confirmed by the receiving bank. There is no single separate Pakistani branch code to add to every transfer. Codes used for other countries, such as IFSC, CLABE or US routing numbers, are not substitutes for a Pakistani IBAN. Before sending, the recipient should confirm that their account can receive this type of inward remittance; an account’s own conditions may affect acceptance.

Mobile wallet

A mobile-wallet payout sends funds to an eligible wallet rather than a bank account. JazzCash is an example of a Pakistani wallet that receives international remittances through participating providers; Easypaisa is another local wallet name you may encounter. Do not assume either wallet is offered for your particular transfer from Saudi Arabia. Select a wallet only if it appears among the available Coinepay payout options.

Ask the recipient for the mobile number registered to the selected wallet and the legal name on the wallet account. Confirm that the wallet is active and eligible to receive the payment. Follow the fields shown in the app; wallet providers may apply their own account verification requirements or receiving conditions. The recipient should check their wallet activity and contact their wallet provider if Coinepay shows a completed payout that they cannot find.

Cash pickup

Cash pickup lets the recipient collect a transfer from an available payout location in Pakistan without providing a bank account or wallet number. Check that this option is offered for your transaction and review the location and collection instructions shown during the transfer. Enter the recipient’s name exactly as it appears on the identification they intend to present.

The recipient will generally need the transfer reference and valid identification. CNIC, NICOP and passport are examples of documents used for cash pickup in Pakistan, but the accepted document and any additional requirements depend on the payout partner and location. Share the reference privately with the intended recipient, and ask them to check the collection instructions before travelling. A reference alone does not replace an identity check.

How to send money from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan

  1. Sign in to Coinepay. Use the mobile app or self-service dashboard. If you are new, register for Coinepay and complete the required identity verification first.
  2. Start a Global Remittance transfer. Choose Saudi Arabia as the sending location and Pakistan as the destination. Enter the amount and select the sending and receiving currencies available for this transaction. Check whether the recipient is set to receive PKR.
  3. Select the payout method. Choose an available bank deposit, mobile wallet or cash pickup option. The options shown for your transfer determine which details you need to enter.
  4. Enter the recipient’s details. Use their full legal name and the bank IBAN, wallet details or cash-pickup information requested on screen. Supply the purpose of payment, relationship and any other required information accurately.
  5. Review before confirming. Read the exchange rate, fees, sending amount and recipient amount displayed in Coinepay. Recheck the recipient’s name, destination, payout method and every account or phone-number digit. The rate and fees are shown before you confirm the transfer.
  6. Confirm and track. Submit the transfer only when the information is correct. Keep its reference and follow the status in your Coinepay app or dashboard. Give a cash-pickup reference only to the intended recipient.

If a payout method or currency you expected is not offered, do not substitute unrelated account information to get past the form. Choose an available method that the recipient can use, or contact Coinepay support before confirming.

What the recipient should check

For a bank deposit, the recipient should watch the correct account and check with their bank if an incoming payment needs clarification. For a wallet payout, they should check the registered wallet, not an unlinked phone number or a different wallet. For cash pickup, they should wait for the appropriate collection status and bring the required identification and reference to the specified payout location.

Receiving banks and payout providers can perform their own checks or apply account-specific conditions. If the recipient needs proof that an overseas payment reached a PKR bank account, they can ask their bank whether it can issue a Proceeds Realization Certificate (PRC). Additional documentation or reporting may apply to a particular receipt; the receiving bank can advise the recipient about its requirements.

Troubleshooting a delayed or returned transfer

  • Wrong name or payout details: A spelling mismatch, incorrect IBAN or wrong wallet number can delay or prevent a payout. Compare the submitted details with the recipient’s official records. If you have already confirmed the transfer, contact Coinepay support with the transfer reference rather than assuming you can edit a transfer in progress.
  • Compliance review: Check your app and messages for requests for identity, source-of-funds or payment-purpose information. Respond with genuine documents through the requested channel. Screening and local regulatory checks may affect processing.
  • No payout yet: Check the transfer status before asking the recipient to visit a pickup location or contact their bank. Weekends, public holidays, intermediary processing and the receiving bank’s procedures can affect progress. If the status is unclear, give support the transfer reference and ask what action, if any, is needed.
  • Returned or rejected payout: The receiving account may be unable to accept the payment, or its details may not match. Ask the recipient to confirm their account or wallet eligibility, then contact Coinepay support to learn the transfer’s status and available next steps. Do not immediately create a duplicate transfer while the original remains unresolved.

Coinepay does not serve sanctioned persons or residents of jurisdictions under comprehensive sanctions, and customers and counterparties are screened against sanctions lists. If you are unsure whether a particular recipient or transaction is eligible, ask support before sending.
