Looking for Malwarebytes Premium? Malwarebytes calls its antivirus component Premium Security and includes it in consumer plans such as Standard and Plus. This guide explains how to choose a plan, attempt a web checkout with a Coinepay virtual card, and handle common payment problems. Card acceptance depends on the checkout and its payment checks, so review the available methods before placing your order.

What you need before checkout

  • A Coinepay account and virtual card. Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Your virtual card provides a card number, expiry date, and CVV; find its current details and available balance in the Coinepay app or dashboard.
  • Your real billing information. Have your name, billing address, and an email address you can access. Use information that accurately belongs to you rather than changing an address to match a different region.
  • A plan available in your location. Check Malwarebytes’ official pricing page for the plans, current total, taxes, and payment methods shown to you. Malwarebytes does not sell consumer products in certain territories, and availability can change. A virtual card does not override those restrictions.
  • Enough available balance for the displayed total. Check the final checkout amount, including any applicable tax, rather than relying on an advertised starting price. For EU personal-product purchases, Malwarebytes says VAT applies and the business-cart VAT-ID option cannot be used to avoid VAT on personal products.

Which Malwarebytes plan should you choose?

On Malwarebytes’ consumer pricing page, Standard includes Premium Security and Browser Guard. The page shows a three-device Standard plan as well as a one-device option. Plus covers three devices and adds the full Privacy VPN. Standard Family and Plus Family cover 10 devices. If your aim is antivirus protection, compare the device count and included features before moving to checkout; a plan labeled simply “Malwarebytes Premium” may not appear.

At the time of writing (October 2026), a Malwarebytes comparison article listed US-dollar annual prices of $59.99 for Standard, $79.99 for Plus, $119.99 for Standard Family, and $149.99 for Plus Family. These are published comparison prices, not verified checkout totals or renewal prices. Prices vary by region; check Malwarebytes’ official pricing page and the final order summary before paying. Plus’s full VPN is distinct from the limited VPN access described in Malwarebytes’ documentation for some other setups.

How to pay on the Malwarebytes website

  1. Get your Coinepay card ready. Sign in to the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app, check the available balance, and open your virtual card details. Keep the card number, expiry date, and CVV private.
  2. Open Malwarebytes’ official pricing page. Compare Standard, Plus, and any family options shown for your location. If you are starting in the Malwarebytes Windows or Mac app, its Buy now button opens web pricing so you can select a plan and finish the purchase.
  3. Select Buy now for your chosen plan. Review the device count, subscription term, and order summary on the checkout page. Follow any prompts for the purchase email and billing information. Use an email inbox you can open for account setup and receipts.
  4. Check whether card payment is offered. If the checkout offers a suitable card-entry option, enter the Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date, and CVV, along with your real billing details. Do not assume a payment method displayed for one offer is available for every plan or country.
  5. Review the amount and confirm. Check the final charge, taxes, renewal terms, and billing details before submitting. If the checkout requests card authentication, complete the legitimate prompt presented for your transaction; do not share a verification code with anyone who contacts you.
  6. Finish Malwarebytes account setup. After a website purchase, Malwarebytes sends an account-setup link to the purchase email address. Its setup process asks for your name and password and an email verification code. Check that your subscription appears in your account.

If no suitable card-payment option appears, do not repeatedly submit the card or try to bypass the checkout’s requirements. Malwarebytes also documents PayPal as a subscription payment method; using it for an order authorizes recurring renewal payments. Choose only a method you can use legitimately and whose renewal terms you understand.

What to do if your virtual card is declined

A failed checkout does not, by itself, identify the cause. Read the exact message, check whether an order or charge was created, and correct the specific issue before trying again. Malwarebytes documents messages including “Insufficient funds,” “Expired card,” “No such card,” “You have entered an invalid CVV2 or CVC2,” “Your credit card was not charged,” and “Access denied in payment gateway!”

Insufficient balance or incorrect card details

  • “Insufficient funds”: Compare the Coinepay card’s available balance with the checkout’s full amount, including tax. Check the balance in Coinepay before another attempt. If the balance appears sufficient, ask Coinepay support to review the decline.
  • “Expired card” or “No such card”: Recheck the card number and expiry against the current card details in Coinepay. Avoid using saved details from an older card.
  • “You have entered an invalid CVV2 or CVC2”: Re-enter the CVV shown with the current virtual card. Do not send the CVV to support staff or include it in a screenshot.

Billing-address and authentication problems

If the checkout flags billing information or declines without a clear reason, check for typing errors and use your genuine billing name and address. A billing-address mismatch can contribute to a failed payment, but only the payment provider or support team can establish the reason for a particular decline. Do not substitute an address in another country to force a payment through.

For UK and European checkouts, Malwarebytes documents authentication problems such as a blocked pop-up, a missing SMS or notification code, or an error after a 3-D Secure code is entered. Allow the legitimate checkout pop-up in your browser and check the authentication instructions shown for your payment. If no prompt arrives or authentication fails, contact Coinepay support with the time, amount, and error message, but never your full card number, CVV, password, or one-time code.

Gateway errors and region checks

For “Access denied in payment gateway!” or “Your credit card was not charged,” avoid making a series of rapid retries. Record the message and contact Malwarebytes Support about the checkout; Coinepay support can help investigate whether the card transaction was declined. Check your Malwarebytes account and purchase email first so you do not accidentally place a duplicate order.

A merchant may also check whether the purchase is available in your territory or whether a payment method meets its checkout requirements. Malwarebytes’ territory notice lists places where it does not sell consumer products, including Hong Kong, Russia, Belarus, Iran, Cuba, and specified regions of Ukraine. Identity-theft services have a separate list of eligible territories. If a region or card-eligibility check blocks the order, respect that restriction and ask Malwarebytes about the applicable policy. Contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets a stated card requirement before you buy; do not assume it does.

Manage your payment method and renewal

For a subscription purchased through the Malwarebytes website, go to MyAccount → Manage Subscription → Billing & payment to update the payment method or billing address. That area does not manage purchases made through an app store. If you later add devices or upgrade, review the updated subscription price and payment details in MyAccount before selecting Pay now.

Malwarebytes online-store subscriptions auto-renew by default. For annual subscriptions, Malwarebytes says it emails the renewal charge amount 30 days beforehand. If you do not want the next renewal for a Windows or Mac subscription, turn off auto-renewal in MyAccount; access continues until expiry. A subscription bought through Google Play or Apple must instead be canceled through that store. Turning off renewal is not itself a refund request.

Malwarebytes’ license agreement provides a 60-day cancellation-and-refund window for eligible new consumer subscriptions bought directly. It does not apply to renewals or Personal Data Removal purchases, and third-party sellers may have different rules. Contact Malwarebytes Support if you want to request an eligible refund. For questions about your Coinepay card, use Coinepay support.

FAQ

Is Malwarebytes Premium a plan I can select at checkout?

Malwarebytes calls the antivirus component Premium Security. Its consumer pricing page includes it in plans such as Standard and Plus; check the plans shown for your location.

Why does Malwarebytes say “Insufficient funds” when I pay?

Compare your Coinepay card’s available balance with the full checkout total, including tax. If it appears sufficient, contact Coinepay support with the error and transaction details.

Where can I change the card for a Malwarebytes website subscription?

Go to MyAccount → Manage Subscription → Billing & payment. App-store purchases must be managed through the store where you bought them.

Does turning off Malwarebytes auto-renewal refund my purchase?

No. Turning it off stops future renewal and leaves access until expiry. Ask Malwarebytes Support about a refund; eligibility depends on the purchase and its terms.
