You can enter a Coinepay virtual card at GoDaddy Website Builder checkout if the card is eligible for the payment options shown there. First, check which GoDaddy builder you are buying: the newer Airo AI Builder and classic Websites + Marketing have different plans. This guide covers paying GoDaddy for a builder subscription, not accepting payments from customers on a website you create.

Before you start: identify the builder and plan

GoDaddy’s Website Builder landing page may lead you to its prompt-based Airo AI Builder, while older instructions may describe Websites + Marketing. Do not use a plan name or billing instruction from one as a substitute for the other. If you already have a site, check the product name in your GoDaddy account before changing its subscription.

BuilderPlans to look forWhat to check
Airo AI BuilderFree, Starter, Professional, UltimateFree requires no card and includes 50 monthly AI credits. The paid tiers list 150, 300 and 750 monthly credits, respectively.
Classic Websites + MarketingFree, Basic, Premium, CommerceConfirm that the classic product and the selected paid tier are offered in your checkout.

Prices vary by region and offer. Check GoDaddy’s official pricing page and the final checkout for the billing term, taxes, amount due now and renewal price. In particular, do not assume that a monthly-looking price means you will be charged monthly.

What you need to pay with Coinepay

  • A GoDaddy account and the builder plan you intend to purchase.
  • A Coinepay account with completed identity verification (KYC). Register through Coinepay if you have not done so. Card services are subject to availability in your jurisdiction.
  • Your virtual card details: Coinepay provides a card number, expiry date and CVV. Access them through the Coinepay app or 24/7 self-service dashboard.
  • Your real billing details and enough available funds for the amount shown at checkout. Allow for any taxes or currency conversion reflected in the final amount; check the Coinepay app for details relevant to your card.

GoDaddy lists major card brands among its purchase methods in several countries, but its available methods depend on the country, currency and checkout. A listed card brand does not establish that any particular virtual card will be accepted. If checkout states a card-type or card-country restriction, contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets it before buying.

How to sign up and pay for Airo AI Builder

  1. Open GoDaddy’s Airo AI Builder. Sign in to your GoDaddy account or create one using your real information.
  2. Describe the site you want to build. Airo starts from a prompt, and its Free tier lets you use included monthly AI credits without entering a card. If you want a paid tier, review Starter, Professional and Ultimate against the features and credits you need.
  3. Select a paid plan. GoDaddy’s paid-plan listings offer an Add to Cart option. Review the cart carefully: check that it contains the intended Airo plan rather than an unrelated product or the classic Websites + Marketing plan.
  4. Review checkout. Confirm the billing term, amount payable now, taxes if applicable, and renewal information presented by GoDaddy. If anything differs from the plan you intended, correct the cart before proceeding.
  5. Enter your card details. Choose a card-payment option if one is offered, then enter your Coinepay card number, expiry date and CVV. Use your genuine billing name and address, matching the details relevant to your payment account. Complete any authentication requested during checkout.
  6. Confirm only after reviewing the order. Save GoDaddy’s order confirmation and check your GoDaddy account for the subscription. Check your Coinepay dashboard or app for the corresponding card activity.

For an existing classic Websites + Marketing site, select its paid upgrade from within your GoDaddy account and follow the cart and checkout presented for that product. The classic paid tiers are Basic, Premium and Commerce; do not follow Airo plan-selection instructions for a classic site.

How to change the card or stop a renewal

In your GoDaddy account, open Renewals & Billing → Manage Subscriptions and select the Website Builder product. You can inspect its plan and renewal price and change its assigned payment method, including adding a new card. If you replace your Coinepay card, verify that the correct card is assigned to the subscription before its next renewal.

To prevent the next automatic charge, go to Renewals & Billing → Manage Subscriptions, select the product, choose Turn off Auto-Renew and confirm. Turning off renewal is different from deleting the product; deletion can remove access immediately. It is also different from requesting a refund.

If you want a refund, check GoDaddy’s current refund policy promptly rather than assuming cancellation qualifies you. Under the policy checked in October 2026, classic Websites + Marketing annual plans had a 7-day (168-hour) window, while monthly plans followed a 48-hour window, measured from purchase or renewal. For Airo plans supplying AI credits, the stated window was 30 days for annual plans or 48 hours for monthly plans, provided no included credits had been consumed and no AI-generated content had been downloaded or exported. Separately purchased AI-credit packs were non-refundable. GoDaddy instructs eligible customers to delete the product and contact its support by phone, SMS or chat to request a refund before closing the account; it does not process emailed refund requests. Check the policy applicable to your purchase before deleting anything, as terms may change.

What to do if GoDaddy declines your card

A decline does not, by itself, identify the cause. Read the message on your checkout screen, avoid repeated attempts with unchanged details, and work through these checks:

  • Insufficient balance: Compare the available amount in Coinepay with GoDaddy’s final checkout total, including any displayed tax. If necessary, arrange sufficient funds through the options available in your Coinepay account, then retry once the amount is available.
  • Billing address mismatch: Recheck the name, address and postal code you entered. Correct typing errors using your real billing information; do not substitute an address in another country to try to pass a check.
  • Card details or authentication: Re-enter the number, expiry and CVV from your current Coinepay card. If checkout presents a 3-D Secure or other authentication step, follow its instructions. If the step fails or never completes, note what happened and contact Coinepay support or GoDaddy support as appropriate.
  • Merchant region or card-type checks: GoDaddy’s purchase methods vary by country and currency, and a checkout may apply additional eligibility checks. If it says your card type or card country is not accepted, do not try to bypass the restriction. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the stated requirement before you buy; ask GoDaddy which purchase methods are available for your account and checkout.

Do not confuse errors documented for GoDaddy Payments, which website owners may use to charge their own customers, with errors confirmed for a Website Builder subscription purchase. For example, its merchant-payment documentation lists “Insufficient funds” and “International card restriction,” but those exact messages are not established as GoDaddy subscription-checkout wording. If you are buying through a Brazilian GoDaddy checkout and see a “Tax ID” decline, GoDaddy says an invalid CPF/CNPJ can cause it; correct your genuine tax details or ask GoDaddy for help.

If the payment still fails, record the exact checkout message and time, then contact Coinepay support about the card transaction and GoDaddy about the order. Share only the information each support team requests through its official channel; never send your CVV in a support message.
