You can enter a Coinepay virtual card at Epidemic Sound checkout when a card payment option is available to you. Before subscribing, choose a plan that covers how you publish content, check the billing cycle and trial terms, and have your real billing details ready. This guide walks through checkout, payment updates, and common reasons a card payment may fail.

What you need before checkout

  • A verified Coinepay account: Register and complete identity verification before using card services. You can register with Coinepay and manage your card in the Coinepay app or self-service dashboard. Coinepay issues virtual cards with a card number, expiry date, and CVV.
  • Enough available funds: Check your available balance against the amount shown at Epidemic Sound checkout. Allow for the full charge if you choose annual billing, plus any tax shown at checkout. Check the Coinepay app or contact Coinepay support for card or funding questions specific to your account.
  • Your own account and billing details: Sign up with your real identity and enter your genuine billing address. Do not use an address from another region to try to change eligibility or pricing.
  • A suitable Epidemic Sound plan: Its pricing page groups Creator, Pro, and Pro Plus under Individuals, and Business, Business Plus, and Enterprise under Businesses. Review the licensing terms for your intended channels, clients, or business use before paying.

Epidemic Sound lists several payment methods, including card payments, PayPal, and Google Pay, as well as certain local options. The methods displayed at your checkout may vary. A listed card payment option does not guarantee that a particular transaction will be approved.

Choose a plan and understand the amount due

On Epidemic Sound’s pricing page, select Individuals or Businesses and compare the plans available to you. Then switch between monthly and annual billing to see what you would actually pay. An annual plan’s monthly-equivalent figure is not a monthly charge: the yearly amount is charged together.

For context, at the time of writing (October 2026), the US-dollar annual-billing prices displayed were Creator at $9.99 per month equivalent ($119.88 billed yearly), Pro at $16.99 per month equivalent ($203.88 billed yearly), and Business at $30 per month equivalent ($360 billed yearly). Business Plus started at $100 per month equivalent ($1,200 billed yearly); Pro Plus and Enterprise were marked Custom. Check Epidemic Sound’s official pricing page and your checkout for current prices, billing options, and the amount applicable to your location. Do not use these US-dollar figures as an estimate of local pricing.

If you have a US billing location, applicable sales tax may be added at checkout; the displayed pricing-page amounts exclude it. Read the final payment summary rather than funding your card for a monthly-equivalent figure when selecting annual billing. If a plan requires a custom quote, follow Epidemic Sound’s purchase process for that plan instead of assuming it has a standard self-service card checkout.

How to subscribe with your Coinepay virtual card

  1. Prepare your card. In Coinepay, confirm your identity verification is complete, view your virtual card details, and check that sufficient funds are available for the charge you expect. Keep your card number and CVV private.
  2. Open Epidemic Sound’s pricing page. Pick the plan that matches your intended use and choose monthly or annual billing where offered. Check the full amount due before continuing.
  3. Select Start Free Trial if offered for your choice. Create an Epidemic Sound account or sign in, then follow the prompts to connect your social channels. The trial is available only once; if you have previously used it, subscribing results in a charge rather than another trial. Review the terms shown for your account before proceeding.
  4. Choose a card payment option. When Epidemic Sound asks for a payment method, enter the card number, expiry date, and CVV from your Coinepay virtual card. Supply your real billing details and check them for typing errors. If checkout offers different methods in your region, choose only one you are eligible to use.
  5. Review and submit. Verify the plan, billing frequency, trial or charge date, tax if applicable, and final amount. Complete any authentication step presented by the checkout or payment provider. Submit once, then check your Epidemic Sound account and payment confirmation before trying again if the page appears to stall.

If you are paying from India, note a separate Epidemic Sound rule for UPI: for Creator and Pro, it describes UPI as an upfront payment for the chosen monthly or yearly period, with manual renewal and no free trial. That is a UPI-specific arrangement, not a reason to assume the same trial or renewal terms for a card checkout. Follow the terms shown for your selected method.

What to check if Epidemic Sound declines your card

Do not repeatedly resubmit a payment without first checking whether it succeeded or created a pending charge. A checkout message such as “we could not process your payment” does not, by itself, identify the cause. Work through these checks in order:

  • Insufficient available funds: Compare your Coinepay balance with the entire amount due, not just an annual plan’s monthly-equivalent price. Include any tax displayed at checkout. Check the Coinepay app for transaction information and contact Coinepay support if you need help understanding a decline or pending charge.
  • Billing address mismatch: Re-enter your actual billing name and address carefully. Check for a mistyped postal code or country. Do not substitute someone else’s address or change countries to work around a check.
  • 3-D Secure or another authentication step: If a verification prompt appears, complete it through the legitimate checkout flow. If it times out, return to checkout and check whether a charge or subscription was already created before retrying. If you cannot complete the prompt, ask Coinepay support about the card transaction and give Epidemic Sound support the checkout error details.
  • Foreign-transaction or region checks: Epidemic Sound notes that a bank may block a payment to the Sweden-based company as a foreign transaction. Merchant or payment-provider checks can also depend on your actual location and billing details. Contact Coinepay support about a card-side decline and Epidemic Sound support about checkout eligibility or a merchant-side rejection; do not try to bypass regional rules.
  • Technical checkout errors: Epidemic Sound suggests checking your connection, browser, extensions, or device. If the problem continues, contact its support team with the error message, the time of the attempt, and what happened. Do not send your full card number or CVV in a support message.

If the charge appears in Coinepay but Epidemic Sound does not show an active subscription, keep a record of the transaction and contact both support teams before making another payment. Neither a pending charge nor an error screen alone confirms that your subscription is active.

Update your card or change your billing cycle later

To replace a saved payment method, sign in to Epidemic Sound and go to Account → Subscriptions → Billing Information → Payment details → Edit. Enter the replacement payment method and select Confirm. If you receive a new Coinepay virtual card, update the saved details rather than expecting an old card’s details to change automatically.

To change billing frequency, use Account → Subscriptions → Change Billing Cycle → Confirm. Read the resulting charge and renewal information before confirming. If a change is unavailable or its timing is unclear, ask Epidemic Sound support rather than assuming it takes effect immediately.

Canceling and keeping track of your license

To cancel, go to Account → Subscriptions → Manage Subscription → Cancel Subscription, provide a reason, and confirm. Epidemic Sound says access continues until the end of the paid period, with no further charges after cancellation. Its stated policy does not refund charges already made and does not provide prorated refunds for monthly or yearly plans.

Content published while your subscription was active remains cleared after cancellation; new content published after the subscription ends is not covered in the same way. Check your subscription status and licensing terms before publishing new work. You can manage your Coinepay account through its dashboard or the iOS app or Android app; subscription and licensing changes are managed with Epidemic Sound.

FAQ

Can I use a Coinepay virtual card for an Epidemic Sound free trial?

Enter the card if an eligible checkout offers a card payment option, and review the trial terms shown there. Epidemic Sound allows a trial only once; a previous trial user is charged when subscribing.

Why is the annual charge higher than the monthly price I saw?

Epidemic Sound may display an annual plan as a monthly equivalent while charging the full yearly amount together. Check the final checkout total, including any applicable tax.

Where can I change my payment card?

In Epidemic Sound, go to Account → Subscriptions → Billing Information → Payment details → Edit, enter the new method, and select Confirm.

What should I do if the payment fails during verification?

Check whether a charge or subscription was created, then retry the legitimate verification flow if appropriate. Contact Coinepay support about the card transaction and Epidemic Sound support about checkout errors.

Will canceling refund the rest of my Epidemic Sound plan?

Epidemic Sound says access continues to the end of the paid period, but its stated policy does not refund charges already made or provide prorated refunds.
