Pictory is an AI video tool that turns scripts, articles and long recordings into short, captioned videos. If you want to pay for a paid plan without tying it to your everyday bank card, a Coinepay virtual card gives you an instant card number, expiry date and CVV you can enter at Pictory's checkout. This guide walks through what you need, how to subscribe step by step, and how to troubleshoot a declined payment.
What you need before you start
- A Coinepay account with identity verification (KYC) completed. You can register here and finish verification before you try to subscribe. Card services are only available once KYC is done.
- A Coinepay virtual card created in the app or dashboard, with its number, expiry and CVV visible.
- Enough balance on the card to cover the plan you choose, plus any amount the processor may hold temporarily.
- Your real billing details — name, address, postal code and country — matching what is on file with Coinepay. Pictory bills in USD and processes payments through Stripe and PayPal, which run address and security checks.
Pictory's pricing page states that it accepts major debit and credit cards and PayPal. It does not publish a list of specific card networks or confirm whether virtual or prepaid cards are accepted. Because of this, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card is suitable for recurring USD subscription billing before you buy.
Pictory plans and pricing
At the time of writing (October 2026), Pictory's public pricing page lists four paid tiers plus a 14-day free trial. Prices are in USD and may differ by region, so always confirm on the official pictory.ai pricing page and in the final order summary before you pay.
| Plan | Monthly | Billed annually | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29/mo | $25/mo ($300 upfront) | Individual use |
| Professional | $59/mo | $35/mo ($420 upfront) | Individual use |
| Team | $199/mo | $119/mo ($1,428 upfront) | 3+ users, bought by team owner |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | 10+ users |
The 14-day free trial does not renew or charge automatically; after it ends, downloading videos requires a paid subscription. Older figures in some help articles are not current — rely on the pricing page and the order summary at checkout.
Step-by-step: subscribing with your Coinepay card
- Create your Coinepay card. Open the Coinepay app (iOS or Android) or the dashboard, generate a virtual card and top it up so the balance covers your chosen plan — remember that annual plans are charged in full upfront.
- Sign in to Pictory. Go to pictory.ai and log in, or start the free trial first if you want to test the tool before paying.
- Open the subscription screen. From the profile menu choose My subscription. You can also use the Buy now links on the pricing page.
- Pick a plan and billing cycle. Select Starter, Professional or another tier and choose monthly or annual billing, then select Buy now. For a Team plan, the purchase must be made by the team owner.
- Review the order summary. Check the plan, billing cycle and total, then select Proceed to payment.
- Enter your card details. Type your Coinepay card number, expiry date and CVV. For the billing address, use your real details as registered with Coinepay.
- Complete any security step. If 3-D Secure (an extra confirmation) is triggered, approve it through your Coinepay app or the method Coinepay provides.
- Confirm and save. Once payment succeeds, your plan activates. You can download the invoice afterwards.
Managing your card and invoices after purchase
For a personal workspace, your billing settings are at profile → My account → Billing. Use Edit card to update the card on file or add another — handy if you create a fresh Coinepay card for the next renewal. Personal invoices are under My Account → Billing → Invoices; team-owner invoices are under Billing & Plan → Invoices.
Paid plans renew automatically each month or year. Make sure your Coinepay card has enough balance ahead of the renewal date so the charge goes through.
Troubleshooting a declined card
Pictory's terms note that if a payment method is invalid or a payment cannot be processed, you'll be asked to update your billing information, and an unpaid subscription may be suspended or terminated if still unpaid three days after notice. Pictory does not publish exact decline-error wording, so if a payment fails, work through the common causes below.
Insufficient balance
Annual plans are billed as a single upfront amount (for example, $300 for Starter annual), and the processor may also place a short-lived authorization hold. Confirm your Coinepay card holds enough to cover the full charge, then retry.
Billing address mismatch
Stripe and PayPal check the billing address against the card record. Enter the exact name, address, postal code and country linked to your Coinepay card. A mismatch is one of the most common reasons an otherwise valid card is declined.
3-D Secure not completed
If an extra verification prompt appears and is not approved, the charge fails. Keep the Coinepay app handy during checkout so you can confirm the step promptly, then try the payment again.
Card type or region checks
Pictory processes payments through Stripe and PayPal. Stripe prohibits dealings linked to comprehensively sanctioned places such as Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and the occupied regions of Ukraine; a payment originating in or linked to those locations will not go through, and this cannot be worked around. Always use your real identity and real billing country. If your card is declined and balance, address and 3-D Secure all look correct, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card is enabled for international USD subscription payments, and separately check with Pictory support that there is no account-side issue.
Do not use fake addresses, generated identities or tools to disguise your location. These breach Pictory's terms and can get your account or card blocked.
Canceling, pausing and refunds
To cancel, go to profile → My account → Billing → Cancel subscription and complete the confirmation steps. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, and you keep access until then. Fees are non-refundable — including partial periods, unused services and plan changes — unless applicable law or a separate written agreement says otherwise.
A help article from July 2026 describes a pause option in the cancellation flow at USD $1 per month; for monthly subscriptions, the pause is said to last 90 days before automatic reactivation unless changed. Check the current in-app flow for exact terms.
Pictory's own guidance is inconsistent about whether projects remain available or are deleted after cancellation. To be safe, download any videos you need before you cancel or pause.

FAQ
Does Pictory accept virtual cards?
Pictory's pricing page says it accepts major debit and credit cards and PayPal, processed through Stripe and PayPal, but it does not confirm specific card networks or whether virtual cards are accepted. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card is suitable for recurring USD billing before you subscribe.
How much does Pictory cost?
At the time of writing (October 2026), the pricing page lists Starter ($29/mo or $25/mo annually), Professional ($59/mo or $35/mo annually), Team ($199/mo or $119/mo annually for 3+ users) and custom Enterprise pricing, plus a 14-day free trial. Prices are in USD and may change, so confirm on pictory.ai and in the order summary.
Why was my Coinepay card declined at Pictory checkout?
Common causes are insufficient balance for the full charge, a billing address that does not match your card record, an incomplete 3-D Secure step, or region checks from the payment processor. Verify each of these, then contact Coinepay support if the card still does not work.
Will the free trial charge my card automatically?
No. Pictory states the 14-day free trial does not renew or charge automatically. After it ends, downloading videos requires a paid subscription, which you purchase separately and which does renew automatically.
