You can use a Coinepay virtual card to attempt payment for a NightCafe PRO subscription. This guide covers what to prepare, how NightCafe’s checkout works, and what to check if payment fails. Card acceptance depends on the checkout and payment checks; having a virtual card does not guarantee that a charge will go through.
What you need before subscribing
- A NightCafe account: Sign in to the account that should receive the subscription. You can also create an account while purchasing. NightCafe applies the purchase to the account signed in at checkout, so check the account before you pay.
- A Coinepay virtual card: Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Your card number, expiry date, and CVV are available after issuance in the Coinepay app or self-service dashboard.
- Enough available funds: Allow for the full amount shown at checkout, including applicable tax. If a currency conversion or other card charge is relevant, check the Coinepay app or ask Coinepay support rather than relying on the plan’s advertised price alone.
- Your real billing details: Enter your own name, billing address, and other requested information accurately. Do not use an invented address or location to try to pass a payment check.
Card issuance and fund services are provided by Coinepay’s licensed partner financial institutions. Service availability varies by jurisdiction; check the app or support if you are unsure whether you can use a particular service.
Choose a NightCafe plan and billing period
NightCafe has a free tier and five paid NightCafe PRO tiers: AI Beginner, AI Hobbyist, AI Enthusiast, AI Creator, and AI Artist. PRO offers monthly, quarterly, and annual billing. A one-off credit pack is a separate purchase, not the same as a recurring PRO subscription. NightCafe also offers gift cards for selected PRO tiers; those do not create a recurring charge for the recipient.
At the time of writing (October 2026), NightCafe’s help page listed monthly prices before tax of $7.49 for AI Beginner, $12.49 for AI Hobbyist, $24.99 for AI Enthusiast, $39.99 for AI Creator, and $62.49 for AI Artist. These are published help-page figures, not confirmed live-checkout totals. Check NightCafe’s official pricing page and the amount displayed at checkout before buying. Paddle, NightCafe’s checkout provider and merchant of record, adds applicable local VAT or sales tax; your receipt shows the final charged amount.
Compare billing periods as well as tiers. Monthly credits arrive when each monthly payment processes. With quarterly or annual billing, credits for that period arrive together when the upfront payment processes. If you prefer to try NightCafe without a recurring charge, review the free tier or the separate credit-pack option before selecting PRO.
How to pay with your Coinepay virtual card
- Prepare your card. Open the Coinepay app or dashboard and check your available funds and card details. If you have not registered and completed identity verification, do that first. You can access Coinepay through the iOS app or Android app.
- Open NightCafe’s official pricing page. Select the PRO tier and billing period you want. Review whether the purchase renews monthly, quarterly, or annually and note the amount due now.
- Sign in or create your NightCafe account. Confirm that you are using the account where you want the PRO benefits and credits to appear. NightCafe lets buyers create an account during checkout if needed.
- Review the Paddle checkout. If card payment is offered, enter your Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date, and CVV, along with your real billing details. Review the final amount, tax, billing period, and renewal terms before submitting. The payment methods available to an individual buyer are determined at checkout.
- Complete any requested verification. Follow an authentication prompt if one appears. Do not repeatedly submit the payment while a verification step is still pending.
- Confirm the result. Keep the receipt and check that the purchase appears on the intended NightCafe account. Under NightCafe’s account menu, open Manage subscription to review renewal information. Its Payments table shows payment dates, statuses, and receipt links.
NightCafe says Paddle handles checkout and that NightCafe receives only the last four digits of the card number, not the full number. If you need to update the card for an existing subscription, look for Change Payment Method under Manage subscription rather than purchasing a second subscription.
What to do if NightCafe declines the payment
Start by identifying what the checkout actually says. NightCafe documents “payment failed” for a declined card. It separately documents “Error 403” or “E403” as a Paddle location-restriction block. These problems call for different next steps.
“Payment failed”: check funds and card details
Compare the available card balance with the full checkout total, not just the price shown on the plan page. Tax may have been added. Recheck the card number, expiry date, and CVV against the Coinepay app or dashboard. If an existing card has changed, use NightCafe’s Manage subscription → Change Payment Method control. If the card is blocked or a transaction remains declined after correcting the details, contact Coinepay support with the transaction time and amount. Do not send your full card number or CVV in a support message.
Billing address or authentication problems
Enter your real billing address consistently wherever checkout requests it. If you spot a typo or mismatch, correct it and try again. If a 3-D Secure or other authentication prompt appears, complete it as instructed; an incomplete or failed authentication can prevent a card payment from succeeding. If you cannot complete a prompt, check the Coinepay app or contact Coinepay support. Do not substitute someone else’s address or identity.
Card eligibility and merchant region checks
Paddle lists unsupported prepaid cards among possible payment-failure reasons. Contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets the applicable checkout requirements before you buy or retry. Do not assume that a card will be accepted merely because card payment appears as an option.
If you see Error 403 or E403, NightCafe identifies it as Paddle’s location-restriction block, not an insufficient-balance message. NightCafe says it cannot override that block. Check whether your actual location is eligible under the checkout’s rules and contact NightCafe’s support if you need clarification. Do not use a different address, location, or identity to bypass the restriction.
If a payment seems to have failed but you see a charge, check the Payments table and its status or receipt before trying again. This helps you avoid submitting another purchase when the first one may already have processed.
Manage renewal, cancellation, and refunds
In NightCafe, open account menu → Manage subscription to see renewal information and the controls to cancel or pause. You can cancel at any time; renewal stops, while PRO access continues until the end of the paid billing period. Cancelling does not automatically refund a payment. Unused Fast Credits remain after PRO expires, but you cannot then spend them on PRO-only models.
Review changes before confirming them: NightCafe says changing a plan or resuming a paused subscription charges the full new-plan price immediately, without prorating unused time on the previous plan. For a refund request, NightCafe’s published policy requires you to ask within seven days of the purchase or latest subscription payment. It may refund that latest payment if you have used no credits and created no images since the payment. It does not offer partial or prorated refunds; credit packs and PRO become non-refundable once any credits have been used. Check NightCafe’s current policy and contact NightCafe about the purchase if you need a refund decision.

FAQ
Can I create a NightCafe account while paying?
Yes. NightCafe allows account creation during checkout. Make sure the purchase is applied to the account where you want PRO access.
Why is the NightCafe checkout total higher than the listed plan price?
NightCafe lists plan prices before tax. Paddle adds applicable local VAT or sales tax at checkout; review the final total before confirming.
What does NightCafe Error 403 mean?
NightCafe says Error 403 or E403 is a Paddle location-restriction block, not a standard card decline. NightCafe cannot override it.
Where can I change the card for my NightCafe subscription?
Open the NightCafe account menu, select Manage subscription, and look for Change Payment Method.
Will cancelling NightCafe PRO refund my payment?
No. Cancellation stops renewal but does not automatically issue a refund. NightCafe has a separate, time-limited refund policy with conditions on credit use and image creation.
