You can use a Coinepay virtual card to attempt payment for a Le Figaro digital subscription through Le Figaro’s direct web checkout. This guide covers the plans, the sign-up steps and what to check if a payment does not go through. Card acceptance is decided at checkout, so check the available payment options before placing your order.

Choose a Le Figaro subscription

Le Figaro’s main digital tiers are Le Figaro Access for one account, Le Figaro Premium for three accounts and Le Figaro Premium+ for five accounts. On the France direct-web offer page, each tier has a monthly option without a commitment and an option with a one-year commitment.

Digital planWithout commitmentOne-year commitment offer
Le Figaro Access€12.99/month€0.99 for month one, then €9.99/month for the remaining 11 months
Le Figaro Premium€17.99/month€0.99 for month one, then €14.99/month for the remaining 11 months
Le Figaro Premium+€22.99/month€0.99 for month one, then €19.99/month for the remaining 11 months

These were the France direct-web prices at the time of writing (October 2026). The €0.99 first month is for eligible new subscribers and can be used once. After the one-year commitment, the listed monthly price becomes €12.99 for Access, €17.99 for Premium or €22.99 for Premium+, unless cancelled. Offers and prices can change or differ by location; check Le Figaro’s official subscription page and the amount shown at checkout before confirming.

Le Figaro also lists an Offre Jeunes and an Offre Bac, each with age and proof requirements, alongside print-plus-digital offers. If you select one of those rather than a main digital tier, review its own eligibility, payment and delivery terms before proceeding. This guide follows the direct-web digital checkout, not an app-store purchase or a subscription billed through a Google account.

What you need before checkout

  • A Coinepay account and completed identity verification. Register through Coinepay and finish KYC before using card services. Coinepay issues virtual cards with a card number, expiry date and CVV, which you can access in its dashboard or mobile app.
  • Enough available funds. Check the price and payment schedule for the offer you actually select. Leave enough available to cover the charge shown at checkout, rather than assuming that every visitor qualifies for an introductory price.
  • Your real account and billing details. Le Figaro’s registration form asks for a name, email and password. When checkout requests billing information, enter accurate details that match your payment records. Do not use a fabricated address to try to obtain a regional offer.
  • Access to any payment verification. Keep your Coinepay app or dashboard available in case you need to review a card transaction or complete a security step presented during payment.

Le Figaro’s direct-payment terms name Cartes Bancaires/Carte Bleue, Visa and Mastercard. That list does not establish whether a particular virtual card will be accepted. If the checkout specifies a card-type or country-of-issue requirement, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets it before you buy.

How to subscribe on Le Figaro’s website

  1. Open Le Figaro’s official subscription page. Find the digital comparison for Le Figaro Access, Le Figaro Premium and Le Figaro Premium+. Select the tier and commitment option that fit your needs.
  2. Read the offer conditions. Check the first charge, later recurring charges, introductory-offer eligibility and whether you are choosing a one-year commitment. A low first-month price does not make the rest of that commitment optional.
  3. Choose “S’abonner.” Le Figaro then asks you to create an account with your name, email address and password, or to follow the sign-in flow if you already have an account.
  4. Review the order and enter your payment details. At direct checkout, select a bank-card payment option if one is offered for your order. Enter your Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV, along with your real billing details wherever requested. Use the card information shown in your Coinepay account; do not guess or substitute another person’s details.
  5. Check everything before submitting. Le Figaro’s terms say you can correct entered details before selecting “CONFIRMER MA COMMANDE” or “VALIDER VOTRE PAIEMENT.” Verify the plan, commitment, amount and billing information, then complete any authentication requested by the payment flow.
  6. Keep the confirmation. Le Figaro says its confirmation email states the order and amount charged. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder and your Le Figaro account before trying the payment again; this helps avoid placing a duplicate order.

If you instead subscribe through Apple’s App Store, Google Play or Le Figaro’s separate Google-account offer, payment and subscription management follow that channel’s process. Do not assume the direct-web price or checkout steps apply there.

If your card payment is declined

A failed checkout alone does not identify the cause. Read any message from Le Figaro and check the corresponding transaction status in Coinepay before making changes. Avoid repeatedly submitting the order while its status is unclear.

  • Insufficient available funds: Compare your card’s available balance with the amount shown on the Le Figaro checkout page. If funds are insufficient, add funds using the options available in your Coinepay account, then retry when the balance is updated. Check the full subscription schedule too, so future recurring charges are not overlooked.
  • Billing-detail mismatch: Recheck the card number, expiry date and CVV, plus any name, address or postal code requested at checkout. Correct typing errors using your real details. A declined transaction does not, by itself, prove that an address mismatch caused it.
  • 3-D Secure or another authentication step: If checkout presents a verification challenge, follow its instructions and allow it to finish before returning to the order page. If a challenge expires or fails, check whether the order was placed before starting again. If you cannot complete the step, share the displayed message with Coinepay support.
  • Card-type or region checks: Le Figaro may show available payment options for your particular offer and location. Its named direct-payment networks are not a promise that every card will pass checkout. Do not change your location or billing address to work around a restriction. If an error points to card eligibility, country or region, ask Le Figaro which requirement applies and ask Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets it.

For a payment you cannot identify, note the attempted amount, date, plan and exact on-screen message when contacting support. Do not send your full card number or CVV in a support message.

Find invoices or manage the subscription

For a direct purchase, Le Figaro’s invoice path is Mon Compte → Mes commandes → Voir ma facture. Keep the confirmation email as a second record of what you ordered and paid. If you need to change the payment card for an existing direct-web subscription, check your Le Figaro account or contact Le Figaro for the current procedure rather than assuming that placing a new order will replace the old card.

A no-commitment monthly subscription can be cancelled before the current monthly period ends; cancellation takes effect at that period’s end. A one-year commitment ordinarily cannot be ended early and becomes a cancellable no-commitment subscription after 12 months. Le Figaro lists phone, its contact form and post as cancellation methods for directly purchased subscriptions. For a subscription bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play, manage or cancel it in the relevant store’s account settings instead.

Le Figaro’s terms provide a 14-day withdrawal period from conclusion of the subscription contract. If digital service began immediately, withdrawal can still apply to the unused portion, while consumed digital products are not refundable. Review the terms for your particular order or contact Le Figaro if you need to exercise that right.

FAQ

Can I use a Coinepay virtual card for Le Figaro?

You can enter its details if Le Figaro offers bank-card payment at your checkout, but acceptance is not guaranteed. Check any stated card requirements before ordering.

Where can I find my Le Figaro invoice?

For a direct purchase, go to Mon Compte → Mes commandes → Voir ma facture.

Why was my Le Figaro card payment declined?

Check the actual checkout message and Coinepay transaction status. Possible checks include available funds, entered billing details, authentication and card eligibility; a decline alone does not identify the cause.

How do I cancel a Le Figaro subscription bought in an app?

For a purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play, use your subscription settings in the respective store account.
