LALAL.AI is an AI audio tool for separating vocals, instruments and noise, and for voice cloning. If you want more than the free Starter tier gives you, you will need to pay for a subscription. This guide shows how to set up a Coinepay virtual card and use it to subscribe to or top up LALAL.AI, and what to do if your card is declined.
What you need before you start
- A Coinepay account with identity verification (KYC) completed. You can register with Coinepay and finish verification before you try to pay.
- A Coinepay virtual card with its card number, expiry date and CVV, which you can view in the Coinepay dashboard or the mobile app (iOS / Google Play).
- Enough balance on the card to cover the plan amount shown at checkout, plus any tax such as EU VAT.
- Your real billing details (name and billing address), matching the information on your Coinepay account.
- A LALAL.AI account, which you can create during checkout.
Coinepay card services are not available to residents of mainland China, and some services are not available in every jurisdiction. Always use your genuine identity and billing information.
Understand LALAL.AI plans first
LALAL.AI offers three subscription tiers: Starter, Lite and Pro. Starter is free, gives you 10 processing minutes and free previews, and needs no card at all, so you can test the service before paying.
- Lite includes unlimited Relaxed Queue minutes, 90 Fast Queue minutes per month, a 2 GB per-file limit and one Voice Pack Slot.
- Pro includes 250 Fast Queue minutes per month, three slots, VST-plugin and API access, and local desktop processing.
At the time of writing (October 2026), LALAL.AI showed Lite at $9.99 monthly or $90 annually, and Pro at $19.99 monthly or $180 annually in USD. Prices vary by region and currency (for example, EUR amounts and added VAT differ), so always confirm the exact amount on the official LALAL.AI pricing page before you confirm payment. Separately, there are one-time Fast Queue Top-Ups (Master, Premium and Enterprise) if you only need extra minutes rather than a subscription. Note that unused monthly Fast Queue minutes do not roll over.
Step-by-step: pay for LALAL.AI with your Coinepay card
- Create or top up your Coinepay virtual card. Open the Coinepay app or dashboard, create a card if you do not have one, and make sure the balance covers the plan price plus tax.
- Sign in to LALAL.AI. Go to the official LALAL.AI website and select Log In at the upper right. You can use email, Google or Facebook. With email, LALAL.AI sends a one-time code valid for 10 minutes or an authorization link valid for 24 hours. Sign-in is required to complete a purchase, and the pre-purchase code flow resumes your payment after you sign in.
- Choose your plan on Plans & Extras. Pick the Lite or Pro subscription, or a one-time top-up, and select the billing period (monthly or annual). Review the displayed billing period and amount carefully.
- Proceed to checkout. LALAL.AI supports card payments, PayPal processing and Pix, depending on your transaction and region. Choose the card payment option.
- Enter your Coinepay card details. Type the card number, expiry date and CVV from your Coinepay app. Enter your billing name and address exactly as they appear on your Coinepay account.
- Complete any 3-D Secure step. If an extra verification prompt appears, approve it through Coinepay (check the app for a confirmation request).
- Confirm and check your account. After payment, hover over the minute balance at the upper right to see your subscription and remaining minutes. Keep the confirmation email in case you need support later.
Note: LALAL.AI states that automatic renewals work with card payments only. If you pay by PayPal or Pix, do not assume the plan will auto-renew.
If your card is declined: common causes and fixes
A declined payment is usually easy to fix. Work through these checks before trying again.
Insufficient balance
The card must hold enough for the plan plus any tax such as EU VAT, and for annual plans the full-year amount is charged up front. Check your balance in the Coinepay app and top up if needed, then retry.
Billing address mismatch
If the billing name or address you type does not match your Coinepay account records, the payment can be refused. Re-enter them exactly as they appear in Coinepay, with no extra spaces or abbreviations.
3-D Secure not completed
If a verification prompt times out or is dismissed, the charge fails. Start the checkout again, keep the Coinepay app open, and approve the confirmation request promptly.
Merchant or region checks
LALAL.AI adjusts payment options by region. For example, it disabled PayPal for mainland China and Hong Kong when paying in CNY, and later added USD pricing and PayPal for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. These changes affect payment methods rather than service access. Card-network rules can also apply independently of LALAL.AI. If you suspect a region or card-type restriction, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the merchant's requirement before you buy.
Already-active subscription
One user who tried to buy another month reported the message "Unable to start payment session. You already have active subscription." This is about an existing subscription state, not a card decline. Check Profile → Manage Subscription before buying again.
If the card still will not go through after these checks, open the Coinepay support channel or reach us on Telegram to confirm the card is active and there are no limits on the transaction. For errors on LALAL.AI's side, contact LALAL.AI support at [email protected].
Managing your subscription, cancelling and refunds
To manage your plan, hover over the minute balance at the upper right, then go to Profile → Manage Subscription. To cancel, choose Cancel Subscription there; your access continues through the current billing period, after which the account returns to Starter with no further renewal charge.
LALAL.AI's refund policy states that fees for the current period and unused prepaid minutes are generally not refundable, except as required by applicable law, though it allows discretionary refunds for unresolved technical errors, unused duplicate purchases or incorrect charges. To request a withdrawal, the policy says to email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and before plan activation; starting the service can end that withdrawal right, and statutory rights vary by location. For a refund request, email your account address, order or transaction ID, purchase date, a description of the issue and any evidence. LALAL.AI says it responds within 5\u20137 business days and processes approved refunds to the original payment method within 14 business days.
Because refunds go back to the original method, keep that Coinepay card open until any refund clears.
A quick tip for teams
If several people or projects share LALAL.AI access, you can issue separate Coinepay virtual cards and set custom spending limits per card from the dashboard. That keeps each subscription or top-up on its own card and makes reconciling charges easier.

FAQ
Does LALAL.AI accept virtual cards?
LALAL.AI supports card payments, PayPal and Pix depending on your region and transaction, but it does not publish a list of accepted card brands or card types. Enter your Coinepay card details at checkout, and if you are unsure whether your card meets a requirement, contact Coinepay support to confirm before you buy.
Which LALAL.AI plan should I pay for?
Starter is free with 10 minutes and no card needed, so test it first. Lite adds 90 Fast Queue minutes per month and one Voice Pack Slot; Pro adds 250 Fast Queue minutes, three slots, VST and API access, and local desktop processing. Check the official pricing page for the current amount in your currency.
Why was my Coinepay card declined at LALAL.AI checkout?
The most common causes are insufficient balance (remember annual plans charge the full year plus tax), a billing address that does not match your Coinepay account, an uncompleted 3-D Secure prompt, or regional payment checks. Fix the detail and retry, or contact Coinepay support if it persists.
Will my LALAL.AI subscription renew automatically on my card?
LALAL.AI states that automatic renewals work with card payments only. If you pay by PayPal or Pix, do not assume it will auto-renew. Keep enough balance on your Coinepay card before the renewal date if you want continuous access.
How do I cancel or get a refund for LALAL.AI?
Cancel via the minute balance, then Profile, Manage Subscription, Cancel Subscription; access runs to the end of the current period. Fees are generally non-refundable except as required by law, but you can email [email protected] with your order details to request a refund or a withdrawal within 14 days before plan activation.
