Calendly is a scheduling tool that lets you share booking links, automate meeting invitations and add AI features like Notetaker and Callie on its newer plans. If you want to move from the Free plan to a paid tier, you will need a payment card on file. This guide walks through paying for a Calendly subscription with a Coinepay virtual card, from preparing your card to completing checkout, and what to do if a payment is declined.
What you need before you start
A Coinepay virtual card comes with an instant card number, expiry date and CVV that you can use for online subscriptions and software. Before you subscribe to Calendly, make sure you have the following ready:
- A registered Coinepay account with identity verification (KYC) completed. You must create an account and finish KYC before card services are available.
- A Coinepay virtual card created in the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app (iOS or Google Play).
- Enough balance on the card to cover the charge. Calendly bills paid plans in advance, and charges for every paid seat whether it is occupied or empty.
- Your real billing details, including the billing country and postal/ZIP code, matching the information on your Coinepay account.
Calendly's subscription checkout refers to credit cards and PayPal. It does not publicly enumerate which named card networks its subscription checkout accepts, so if you are unsure whether your Coinepay card will be accepted, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card details before you buy. Services related to virtual assets are not available to residents of mainland China, and some services are not available in every jurisdiction.
Calendly plans and pricing
Calendly currently offers Free, Standard, Standard Plus, Teams, Teams Plus and Enterprise. The "Plus" tiers add the Notetaker and Callie AI features, which were introduced in August 2026 and are English-only at present. At the time of writing (October 2026), US-dollar annual billing was listed as: Free $0; Standard $10/seat/month; Standard Plus $18/seat/month; Teams $16/seat/month; Teams Plus $24/seat/month. These figures are annual-billing rates, not monthly quotes, and Enterprise starts at US$15,000/year for at least 50 seats, in USD only, and requires contacting Calendly sales.
Prices and currency vary by region, so always check the official Calendly pricing page before you commit. New UK subscriptions can pay in GBP and new eurozone subscriptions in EUR; most other subscriptions are processed in USD. Note that the older Essentials and Professional plans are no longer sold to new customers.
Step by step: sign up and subscribe
- Create your Calendly account. Go to Calendly's official site and sign up with Google, Microsoft or email. No card is required just to sign up, and new users get a free two-week Teams Plus trial that automatically moves to Free unless you upgrade.
- Open Billing. As an owner or admin, go to Settings → Billing.
- Choose your plan. Select Change plan → Upgrade/Downgrade and pick the plan and seat count you want. The Billing page shows a cost breakdown before any change is confirmed.
- Enter your Coinepay card. At checkout, enter the card number, expiry date and CVV from your Coinepay virtual card. Enter your real billing address exactly as it appears on your Coinepay account.
- Confirm the charge. Review the breakdown and confirm. Calendly bills in advance, so the first charge applies immediately.
- Complete any verification. If your card requires 3-D Secure, approve the prompt in your Coinepay app to finish the payment.
Managing or changing your payment card
To replace the card on an existing subscription, go to Settings → Billing → Billing information → Edit payment details. If you are billed through PayPal, changing those details requires contacting Calendly's billing team. ACH or wire transfer is only available to accounts with at least US$5,000 of spend and also requires contacting support.
If you are billed in India, Calendly follows the RBI e-mandate process: it emails a payment link each cycle that you must confirm manually within 10 days, and failed new-customer card payments there need support assistance.
Troubleshooting a declined card
If Calendly rejects your Coinepay card, work through these common causes before trying again.
Insufficient balance
Because Calendly charges the full subscription in advance for every paid seat, make sure your Coinepay card holds enough to cover the total shown in the cost breakdown. Top up in the Coinepay app and retry.
Billing address or ZIP mismatch
Calendly community support has pointed to billing-country or ZIP-code mismatch and outdated billing details as causes of repeated subscription declines. Make sure the billing country and postal code at checkout match the details registered to your Coinepay card exactly.
CVV or card-field errors
One user reported a subscription-update error stating the CVC was incorrect. Re-enter the CVV carefully from your Coinepay app and confirm the card number and expiry are typed correctly. If the error persists, Calendly directs these cases to its billing support.
3-D Secure not completed
If a verification prompt appears and is not approved, the payment will not go through. Keep the Coinepay app open during checkout so you can confirm any authentication request promptly.
Merchant region checks
Calendly processes most subscriptions in USD, with GBP and EUR available only for new UK and eurozone subscriptions. Currency and regional billing rules can affect whether a charge is accepted. A comprehensive country-by-country checkout availability list is not published, so if you suspect a region check, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card is suitable and check Calendly's own help pages for your currency.
Never use fake billing details, generated identities or tools to disguise your location to get past a payment check. Always pay with your real identity and billing address.
Invitee payments are different
Do not confuse your subscription payment with the separate feature where your meeting invitees pay to book. On eligible paid plans, hosts connect Stripe or PayPal and set a price on an event; the invitee pays during booking and the proceeds go directly to the host's processor account, not to Calendly. Through Stripe, invitees can use most major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link bank payments and, where available, Affirm and Klarna; through PayPal they can use the PayPal wallet, major cards and US-only Venmo. These invitee methods are not the same as the list your subscription checkout accepts.
Cancellation and refunds
To stop a Calendly-managed paid subscription, switch to Free through Billing. The change takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid access until then. Enterprise or invoice-billed customers must give 30 days' written notice before the term end. Under Calendly's customer terms, subscription fees are generally non-cancellable and non-refundable, though support may review special cases. Keep this in mind before you confirm, so you load only what you need onto your Coinepay card.

FAQ
Does Calendly require a card to sign up?
No. You can sign up with Google, Microsoft or email without a card, and new users get a two-week Teams Plus trial that moves to Free automatically. You only add a card when you upgrade to a paid plan at Settings → Billing.
Where do I enter my Coinepay card in Calendly?
As an owner or admin, go to Settings → Billing, choose Change plan → Upgrade/Downgrade, then enter your Coinepay card number, expiry and CVV at checkout. To change an existing card, use Billing information → Edit payment details.
Why was my card declined at Calendly checkout?
Common causes include insufficient balance, a billing-country or ZIP-code mismatch, an incorrectly entered CVV, or an unconfirmed 3-D Secure prompt. Check each of these, make sure your billing details match your Coinepay account, then retry.
Can I get a refund after paying for Calendly?
Under Calendly's customer terms, subscription fees are generally non-cancellable and non-refundable, though support may review special cases. Switching to Free stops future billing but keeps paid access until the end of the current period.
