If you’re eligible to use Pandora in the United States or its territories, you can try paying for Pandora Premium through Pandora’s website with a Coinepay virtual card. This guide covers what to check before subscribing, the direct-checkout steps, and what to do if your payment is not accepted.
Before you subscribe
Pandora permits use only in the United States and its territories. A paid subscription also requires residence in an authorized jurisdiction and, generally, that you are at least 18 or the age of legal majority. Use your real identity and billing details. A payment card does not change Pandora’s location or eligibility rules.
Pandora offers Pandora Free, Pandora Plus and Pandora Premium. Premium options also include Premium Family, Student Premium and Military Premium. Choose the plan you are eligible for rather than assuming every Premium option has the same terms. Student and Military Premium require eligibility verification.
At the time of writing (October 2026), Pandora lists a United States direct-purchase price of $11.99 per month or $131.89 per year for Pandora Premium, before applicable taxes. Premium Family is listed at $19.99 per month or $219.89 per year for up to six accounts; Student Premium at $6.99 per month or $83.88 per year; and Military Premium at $9.99 per month or $109.89 per year. Check Pandora’s official pricing and checkout pages for the amount that applies when you buy. If you already subscribe, check your own renewal amount in Pandora’s subscription settings, particularly because Pandora has announced a 2026 rate change.
To use a Coinepay card, register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Your virtual card number, expiry date and CVV are available after issuance in the Coinepay app or self-service dashboard. Check your available funds and the applicable card details there before checkout; account-specific questions can go to Coinepay support. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions.
Have your Pandora account credentials, real billing details and access to any payment-verification prompt ready. If Pandora presents a trial, read its checkout terms: a trial may require a payment method and can become an automatically renewing paid subscription unless you cancel in time.
How to pay on Pandora’s website
- Sign in or create a Pandora account. You can create an account on Pandora’s website or in its app. For the direct card checkout described here, continue on Pandora’s website.
- Open Pandora’s upgrade page. Visit pandora.com/upgrade, then select Pandora Premium or the eligible Premium option you want. Review whether you are choosing monthly or annual billing, where offered.
- Review the checkout amount and terms. Confirm the displayed price, taxes, billing frequency and any trial end date. The checkout offer determines the terms that apply to your purchase.
- Choose the card payment option. Pandora identifies card and PayPal as direct-checkout choices. Enter the Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV in the card fields, together with your real billing information. Check each entry before continuing.
- Complete any requested verification. If a payment authentication prompt appears, follow its instructions. Do not repeatedly submit payment while a prompt is waiting for your response.
- Accept the subscription terms and submit payment. Wait for Pandora’s confirmation, then check your account’s subscription status and billing details.
A submitted card is not a promise of acceptance: Pandora’s checkout and payment checks determine the result. If you need to confirm whether your Coinepay card meets a checkout requirement before buying, contact Coinepay support.
Where to manage your Pandora billing
For a subscription billed directly by Pandora, sign in on a computer and go to profile icon → Settings → Subscription. On a mobile browser, use the website menu → Subscription. Select Update to change billing details or Switch Plans to review a plan change. If you need to replace an expired card before renewal, make the change in the account that holds the subscription.
First confirm who bills you. Payment details for subscriptions billed through Apple, Google Play, Amazon or Roku are managed with that provider, not in Pandora’s direct-billed card settings. If you chose PayPal at direct checkout, change the card funding that payment through PayPal. Third-party checkout prices can differ from Pandora’s direct prices: at the time of writing (October 2026), Pandora lists Premium at $14.99 per month through Apple and $12.99 per month through Google Play, before any applicable taxes. Check the price shown by your billing provider before agreeing to pay.
What to check if your card is declined
Start with the message shown by Pandora and check whether a charge or subscription confirmation appeared before retrying. A failed checkout screen does not, by itself, identify who rejected a payment. If you see “Sorry, your payment information is not valid. Please update your details”, that message alone does not establish a card-issuer decline.
Available funds and card details
Check the available funds shown in Coinepay against Pandora’s full checkout amount, including applicable taxes. If you selected annual billing, compare against the annual amount rather than a monthly price. Recheck the card number, expiry date and CVV; an expired card or incorrect payment method can also interrupt a renewal. If the details appear correct but the payment still fails, contact Coinepay support with the attempt time and the message you saw.
Billing information
Check for typing errors in the billing name and address, and use your genuine details. A mismatch can contribute to payment-verification problems, but do not assume it is the cause of a particular Pandora error. If your address or account information needs correction, update it through the appropriate account or ask support how to proceed. Do not enter a made-up address to try to pass checkout.
3-D Secure or another security check
If checkout asks you to authenticate, complete the prompt using the method presented. A missed, expired or unsuccessful prompt may require a fresh checkout attempt. Pandora has also suggested checking for a bank security measure when users encounter its invalid-payment-information message. If no prompt appears, do not assume authentication was the issue; ask Coinepay support to help review the attempt.
Region checks or a checkout-page problem
Pandora’s United States-and-territories restriction still applies when paying with a virtual card. Check that your residence and billing details accurately reflect your eligibility; do not try to work around a regional check. For the invalid-payment-information message, Pandora has also suggested opening a new browser window or clearing the browser cache. If the error persists, contact Pandora’s support with the exact message and your account’s billing channel. Avoid sending anyone your full card number or CVV in a support message.
Cancellation and refunds
For a direct-billed subscription, go to Subscription → Switch Plans → Cancel Subscription and confirm. For an Apple-, Google Play-, Amazon- or Roku-billed subscription, cancel through that billing provider. Pandora advises canceling at least 24 hours before a renewal or trial ends; uninstalling its app does not cancel the subscription. After cancellation, paid access continues through the current billing period and the account then returns to the free tier.
Check the refund policy before purchasing, especially if choosing annual billing. Pandora’s refund help says a directly purchased annual subscription may qualify for a prorated refund through its support team, while monthly and gift subscriptions are not refunded. For a purchase billed by a third party, direct refund questions to that billing provider. Cancellation and a refund are separate requests, so do not assume one automatically triggers the other.

FAQ
Can I use a Coinepay virtual card to subscribe to Pandora Premium?
You can enter your Coinepay virtual card at Pandora’s direct card checkout if you meet Pandora’s eligibility rules. Acceptance depends on Pandora’s payment checks; contact Coinepay support if you need to confirm a card requirement before buying.
Where do I update my card for Pandora Premium?
For direct billing, go to profile icon → Settings → Subscription on a computer, or website menu → Subscription on mobile, then select Update. For third-party billing, update payment with the billing provider.
What does “Sorry, your payment information is not valid” mean?
It does not identify a definite cause or prove that your card issuer declined payment. Check your entries and available funds, complete any security prompt, and contact support if the error continues.
Will a Pandora Premium trial renew automatically?
It may. Read the offer shown at checkout: a trial can require a payment method and become a paid, automatically renewing subscription unless canceled under its terms.
