Google AI Pro is a Google One subscription for personal Google Accounts. If you want to try paying for it with a Coinepay virtual card, first check that the plan is available for your Google Play country, then add the card during Google One checkout. This guide covers what to prepare, the web and Android sign-up steps, and what to check if Google declines the payment. A card issued by Coinepay is not a guarantee that Google will accept a particular transaction.
Before you subscribe
Google’s consumer AI plan lineup includes Google AI Plus, Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra. Make sure you select Google AI Pro, rather than a similarly named Google Workspace offering. Google lists Pro with 5 TB of storage, but AI features may have their own age, language and country requirements. Review the benefits shown for your account before paying.
- Check eligibility. Sign in with a personal Google Account, not a Workspace account. Google One eligibility follows your Google Play country, and Pro has its own list of eligible countries. If Google does not offer Pro to your account, a different payment card will not change that eligibility.
- Check your current membership. Google’s stated rules do not allow members billed through certain third parties or Pixel Pass to sign up directly for Pro. Resolve an existing membership through its current billing provider rather than trying to bypass its billing route.
- Prepare your Coinepay card. Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Once issued, your virtual card provides a card number, expiry date and CVV. Check the available funds and any applicable card settings in the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app before checkout.
- Use your real billing information. Have the billing name and address associated with your payment details ready. Your Google payments information and actual country of residence should be accurate; do not change them to evade regional or payment checks.
Google AI Pro offers monthly or annual billing. At the time of writing (October 2026), Google’s public United States plans page displayed $19.99 per month for Google AI Pro (5 TB). Pricing, taxes, promotions and the amount shown to your account can differ. Check Google One’s official pricing page and the final checkout screen for the price and next payment date that apply to you.
How to pay for Google AI Pro on the web
- Open Google One and sign in with the personal Google Account that should receive the subscription.
- Select Google AI Pro. Review the plan benefits and choose the monthly or annual billing option offered to your account.
- Review the checkout terms. Check the displayed price, payment date and any trial terms, then agree to the terms if you want to continue. A trial may still require a qualifying payment method and can renew at the applicable rate unless you cancel before it ends.
- Choose a payment method. If Google offers the option to add a card, enter your Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV. Enter your genuine billing details and check them carefully before proceeding.
- Complete any requested verification. If the checkout displays an authentication or account-verification step, follow the instructions shown by Google and the payment provider. Do not repeatedly submit the payment while a verification request is pending.
- Click Subscribe only after confirming the amount and billing schedule. Look for confirmation in your Google One account before assuming the membership is active.
Payment methods vary by country and by the route through which Google bills the subscription. Google One lists cards alongside some other methods in selected locations, but the options at your checkout are the ones that matter. If adding the virtual card is not offered, or Google rejects it, do not assume another Google product’s accepted payment methods apply to this subscription.
Signing up in the Google One Android app
If you prefer the Google One app on Android, Google’s published path is Menu → Settings → Change membership plan → Google AI Pro → Get offer → Agree → payment method → Subscribe. Review the price and renewal details before the final tap. The payment choices and verification screens may differ from the web flow because the app can use Google Play billing.
Use the Google Account you intend to keep on Pro, particularly if you have more than one account on the device. After subscribing, return to Google One to confirm the membership appears on the correct account. If you started through a different seller, check that seller’s billing instructions rather than assuming the Android steps will change an existing subscription.
What to do if your card is declined
A decline does not, by itself, identify the cause. Google Play may show messages such as “low card balance,” “Please use another form of payment,” “Your transaction cannot be completed,” “expired card,” or “Correct this card info or try another card.” Work through the checks below, then use the support route indicated by the checkout if the issue remains.
Check funds, card details and billing address
- Insufficient balance: Compare your available card funds with the full amount shown at checkout, including any applicable tax. If Google reports a low balance, check the card in Coinepay before trying again. Consult the app or Coinepay support for questions about your available funds or card settings.
- Incorrect or expired details: Re-enter the card number, expiry date and CVV from your Coinepay account. A typing error or expired card can prevent checkout.
- Billing-address mismatch: Check the name and address in your Google payments profile against your genuine billing details. Google Payments also lets you edit saved cards and billing addresses. Correct inaccuracies rather than entering an address simply because it belongs to another country.
Respond to authentication and region checks
If a 3-D Secure or other payment-authentication prompt appears, complete the requested step using the instructions presented. If it fails, times out or never appears, try again once after checking your connection and any messages in your account. Ask Coinepay support whether your card can complete the verification being requested; do not assume every checkout uses the same authentication flow.
Google can also check whether your Google Play country, payments profile, plan eligibility and payment method are consistent. Confirm that Pro is offered in your actual country and that your account information is correct. If a merchant country or card-eligibility rule appears to be blocking checkout, contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets the stated requirement before you buy. Do not use a different address, identity or location to work around Google’s rules.
If Google asks for documents or additional verification, follow Google’s official instructions. If you see “Your transaction cannot be completed” without a useful explanation, Google’s payment help is a sensible next stop; Coinepay support can help investigate card-side questions. Avoid making several rapid attempts when a charge appears pending. Check your Google One membership and payment activity first.
Changing the card or managing renewal
To change a Google One payment method, go to Google One → Settings → Change payment method. Google’s instructions then lead to the Google Play subscription under Manage → Primary payment method → Update. You can also edit a saved card or billing address in Google Payments. The available controls may depend on who bills your subscription, so use the billing information shown in your account if these steps do not match your screen.
If you no longer want Pro, Google’s published route from Gemini is Settings & help → Manage subscription → Cancel membership, which opens Google One settings. Ordinary cancellation stops future renewals and normally leaves benefits available until the paid billing period ends. Cancel before a trial ends if you do not want it to renew. Do not rely on a declined card payment as a way to cancel.
Review the refund terms before subscribing: Google says storage subscriptions are non-refundable in most countries, though applicable rights and the seller’s rules may differ. Google Play purchases use Google Play’s refund process; purchases billed through Apple are handled by Apple. For help with your Coinepay account rather than Google’s subscription decision, use Coinepay support.

FAQ
Can I use a Coinepay virtual card for Google AI Pro?
You can try adding the card if Google offers card payment at your checkout. Acceptance depends on Google’s checks and the payment route; it is not guaranteed.
Do I need a personal Google Account for Google AI Pro?
Yes. Google’s Pro sign-up requires a personal Google Account, and availability also depends on your Google Play country.
Why does Google say “Correct this card info or try another card”?
Check the card number, expiry date, CVV and genuine billing address. If the details are correct, ask Google about the checkout error or Coinepay support about a card-side issue.
Where can I update the card used for Google AI Pro?
Start at Google One → Settings → Change payment method, then use the subscription’s Manage → Primary payment method → Update controls if shown.
Will a Google AI Pro trial charge me later?
