Want to subscribe to STARZPLAY Arabia with a Coinepay virtual card? Start with STARZPLAY’s website checkout, where you can choose an offered plan and see the payment methods available to your account. This guide covers what to prepare, how to enter your card details, and what to check if payment does not go through. STARZPLAY Arabia is separate from the U.S. STARZ subscription.

Before you start

  • Check your location and the offer. STARZPLAY’s published subscription terms limit access to specified service locations in the Middle East and North Africa. Check that your actual location is eligible and that the plan you want appears at checkout; do not use another location’s details to sign up. The United States is not among the locations listed in those terms.
  • Set up your Coinepay card. Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. You can view your virtual card number, expiry date and CVV in the Coinepay app or 24/7 self-service dashboard. Check your available funds before beginning checkout.
  • Have your real account and billing details ready. STARZPLAY’s sign-up form asks for an email address or mobile number and a password. Use contact information you can access, and enter your genuine billing details wherever checkout requests them.
  • Choose the right checkout channel. STARZPLAY lists cards alongside options such as PayPal, Mada, app-store purchases, eligible telecom billing and vouchers. Available methods depend on the market and channel. To try a Coinepay card, select a card-payment option if one is offered; a carrier-billed or app-store purchase follows a different billing process.

Card issuance and fund services are provided by Coinepay’s licensed partner financial institutions. If you need to confirm details about your card before purchasing, check the Coinepay app or contact Coinepay support.

Which STARZPLAY plan should you choose?

STARZPLAY describes a free, ad-supported option that does not require registration. Its subscription page names STARZPLAY Entertainment for entertainment without ads and STARZPLAY MAX for entertainment and live sports without ads. It refers to monthly and annual subscriptions, although the plans and terms presented to you can vary by market and checkout channel.

If you are subscribing for a particular sports event, read the offer closely. STARZPLAY says its MAX Season Pass for a particular tournament is included with MAX annual and can be purchased separately with MAX monthly. Do not assume a monthly MAX checkout includes a separately priced Season Pass.

For a price reference, the UAE public web subscription page displayed STARZPLAY MAX at AED 44.99 per month at the time of writing (October 2026). That is not a quote for every account or region. Check STARZPLAY’s official subscription page and the final checkout screen for the price, billing period and any applicable add-on before confirming.

How to sign up and try paying with your Coinepay card

  1. Open STARZPLAY’s official website. Make sure you are using the STARZPLAY Arabia service offered for your actual location, rather than the separate U.S. STARZ service. If you already have an account, log in instead of creating another one.
  2. Select Sign Up. Enter the requested email address or mobile number and a password, then continue through any account prompts shown. Keep access to the email address or number you use in case STARZPLAY needs you to complete an account step.
  3. Choose an offered subscription. Compare Entertainment and MAX where they appear, along with the available monthly or annual terms. If you want live sports or a tournament pass, verify that the specific content and pass are included in the selection displayed to you.
  4. Choose card payment if available. STARZPLAY displays payment methods during subscription. Select the card option rather than Apple or Google in-app purchase, a voucher, or telecom billing if your intention is to enter your Coinepay card directly. If no suitable card option appears, do not assume another channel will accept the same payment method.
  5. Enter your card and billing details. Copy the virtual card number, expiry date and CVV from your Coinepay dashboard or app. Enter your own accurate billing information in any fields STARZPLAY presents. Review the amount, currency, billing period and renewal terms on the checkout screen.
  6. Complete any requested payment verification. If checkout asks you to authenticate the transaction, follow the instructions shown by the payment flow. Wait for a clear subscription confirmation rather than repeatedly submitting payment while a transaction is still pending.
  7. Check your subscription status. Sign in to STARZPLAY and check your account and payment settings. Also review the transaction in Coinepay so you can identify the charge and keep a record of the plan you selected.

STARZPLAY’s published terms mention Visa and Mastercard as examples of credit cards and also discuss debit cards. That does not establish whether a particular virtual card will be accepted for your account or region. If checkout states a card-type or issuing-country requirement, contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets it before you buy.

What to check if STARZPLAY declines the card

STARZPLAY has not published a confirmed list of exact card-decline messages for this checkout, so use the message you actually see rather than relying on a generic error-code guide. First check whether a charge or subscription was created before attempting payment again.

  • Insufficient available funds: Check your Coinepay balance against the full amount displayed at checkout, including any amount shown for an add-on. If funds are insufficient, use the funding options available in your Coinepay account and retry only after the balance is updated. Check the app or support for any applicable funding details.
  • Billing details do not match: Recheck the name, address and other fields you entered. Use your real details and correct typing mistakes; do not substitute an address in another country to pass a regional or payment check.
  • 3-D Secure or another authentication step fails: If the payment flow presents a verification request, complete it promptly and follow its on-screen instructions. If it times out or does not appear, start a fresh checkout once you have checked whether the first attempt produced a charge. Contact Coinepay support if you need help with a card-authentication prompt.
  • Merchant region or card checks: Confirm that you are using STARZPLAY in a location where the offer is available and that the checkout details reflect your actual location. A merchant may apply its own payment eligibility checks. If STARZPLAY specifies a card-type or issuing-country restriction, ask Coinepay support whether your card meets that requirement; do not assume it does.

If the card details are correct and the payment still fails, use STARZPLAY’s contact form for help with the account-specific checkout. Share the error as displayed and the time of the attempt, but never send your full card number or CVV in a support message. For a card-side question, contact Coinepay support.

Manage renewal or cancel the subscription

For a subscription billed directly by STARZPLAY, its published route is log in → Settings → Payment/Payments → Deactivate Subscription. STARZPLAY describes Settings as being at the top right of its website or in the app menu. Review the account screen for your current subscription and follow the cancellation prompts to completion. If you are looking for a way to update payment details, check the Payment or Payments area for the options currently offered rather than assuming that replacing a card cancels a plan.

STARZPLAY says subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least one full day before renewal. A cancellation normally leaves access available through the paid period and prevents the next cycle’s charge. Its published terms say cancellation during a paid period normally does not produce a refund or credit, except where law requires otherwise or STARZPLAY removes the customer’s service location; an applicable refund goes to the original payment method.

If you purchased through Apple or Google in-app billing, cancel through the relevant store rather than STARZPLAY’s website deactivation route. Other third-party purchases follow that provider’s cancellation instructions. Check who billed you before taking action, especially if you have used more than one STARZPLAY checkout channel.

FAQ

Can I use a Coinepay virtual card for STARZPLAY MAX?

You can try the card-payment option if it appears in your STARZPLAY checkout. Acceptance depends on the checkout and its eligibility checks, so review the final offer before paying.

Why is my Coinepay card being declined on STARZPLAY?

Check available funds, card entries, real billing details and any authentication request. Also check location or card requirements shown at checkout. If the failure persists, contact STARZPLAY about the checkout and Coinepay support about the card.

Does STARZPLAY MAX monthly include the MAX Season Pass?

STARZPLAY says the tournament-specific MAX Season Pass is included with MAX annual and can be bought separately with MAX monthly. Check the offer for the event you want before paying.

Where do I cancel a STARZPLAY subscription paid directly by card?

Log in to STARZPLAY, then go to Settings → Payment/Payments → Deactivate Subscription. Cancel at least one full day before renewal. Apple-, Google- or other third-party-billed subscriptions must be canceled through the billing provider.
