You can enter a Coinepay virtual card at Rosetta Stone’s website checkout when subscribing to Rosetta Stone Sapphire. This guide covers the current Monthly and Yearly plans, what to prepare before paying, and what to check if a payment is declined. Card acceptance depends on Rosetta Stone’s checkout and payment checks, so review the final order details before confirming.

Before you start

  • Set up your Coinepay card. Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification (KYC) before using card services. Coinepay provides a virtual card number, expiry date and CVV, which you can access through its self-service dashboard or mobile app.
  • Check your available funds. Make sure you can cover the full amount due at checkout, including any applicable taxes. A Yearly plan is billed once a year, not in monthly installments.
  • Use accurate account details. Enter your real identity and billing information. Check the billing details associated with your card in Coinepay, or ask Coinepay support if you are unsure what to enter.
  • Confirm that the purchase is available to you. Rosetta Stone’s availability and checkout requirements can vary by location. Coinepay services are also not available in every jurisdiction; virtual-asset-related services are unavailable to residents of mainland China.

Rosetta Stone lists credit and debit Visa, MasterCard and American Express, as well as PayPal and Google Pay, among its payment options for direct purchases. That list does not establish whether a particular Coinepay card will be accepted. If checkout specifies a card-type or issuing-country requirement, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets it before you buy.

Choose the right Rosetta Stone plan

Rosetta Stone’s current individual product is Rosetta Stone Sapphire. Its public Buy page offers Monthly and Yearly subscriptions, each with access to 25 languages. At the time of writing (October 2026), the US page listed Monthly at US$19.99, billed monthly, and Yearly at US$159, billed once a year. Prices vary by region; taxes and the final amount are confirmed at checkout. Check Rosetta Stone’s official Buy page for the price that applies to you before paying.

Be careful when comparing search results or older Rosetta Stone pages. Older three-month, single-language and Lifetime offers are not the Monthly and Yearly Sapphire plans shown on the current public Buy page. Instructions for Rosetta Stone Classic can also differ from Sapphire instructions, particularly for account settings and refunds.

How to subscribe on the Rosetta Stone website

  1. Open Rosetta Stone’s official Buy page. Select the Sapphire Monthly or Yearly option you want, then choose Get Started. Check the billing interval rather than relying on a displayed monthly equivalent for an annual plan.
  2. Enter your email address. Use an address you can access: it will be associated with your Rosetta Stone account and may be needed for subscription or refund enquiries.
  3. Enter your Coinepay virtual card details. Copy the card number, expiry date and CVV from your Coinepay dashboard or app into the card fields. Enter the real billing details requested at checkout, matching the details associated with your card where applicable.
  4. Review the order. Confirm the plan, billing frequency, currency and final amount, including any applicable taxes. Do not proceed if the checkout shows a plan or location you did not intend to select.
  5. Complete payment. Select Finish & Pay. If an additional card-authentication step appears, follow the instructions shown rather than closing the checkout. After payment, Rosetta Stone’s website flow asks you to set an account password.
  6. Check your subscription. Sign in and verify that Sapphire access and the subscription details appear as expected. Keep your purchase confirmation for your records.

You can also begin in the Sapphire mobile app by choosing a language and creating an account. Its View plans option opens the Rosetta Stone Buy page. Check where the final purchase is processed: an Apple- or Google-billed subscription uses that store’s billing system, and its payment-method and cancellation steps differ from a direct website purchase.

If your virtual card is declined

A declined checkout does not, by itself, reveal which system rejected the payment. Avoid repeatedly submitting the same details without checking the likely cause. Work through these steps:

  1. Check the balance against the final total. The amount due may be higher than the headline plan price because applicable taxes are added. For Yearly, make sure the card can cover the entire annual charge, not just the monthly equivalent displayed on a pricing page. Check the available amount in Coinepay before trying again.
  2. Recheck card and billing entries. Compare the number, expiry date and CVV with the card shown in Coinepay. Correct typing errors and use your real billing name and address. If you are unsure which billing details apply to the card, ask Coinepay support rather than entering a different address to test checkout.
  3. Complete any 3-D Secure or other verification prompt. If the checkout asks you to authenticate the payment, follow the on-screen instructions and return to the checkout afterward. If the prompt does not arrive, fails or times out, check the card activity and contact Coinepay support for help investigating. Do not assume that every transaction will use the same authentication flow.
  4. Review merchant region or card requirements. Rosetta Stone does not guarantee access from every location, and checkout may apply location or payment eligibility checks. Use your actual country and billing information. If a message indicates that your location or card is ineligible, ask Rosetta Stone about its purchase requirements and Coinepay support about your card; do not try to bypass the restriction.

If you see a charge or pending transaction but no active subscription, check your Rosetta Stone account and purchase confirmation before submitting payment again. Contact Rosetta Stone about the order status, and contact Coinepay support if you need help identifying the card transaction. For a failed renewal, Rosetta Stone’s terms say it may retry the designated payment method and may suspend or terminate access if payment remains unsuccessful.

Manage your payment method and renewal

For a website-bought Sapphire subscription, sign in on the Rosetta Stone website, select the profile icon → Account settings → Manage subscription, then choose Add payment method or Edit payment method and select Confirm. If you need to replace a card before renewal, update it there and verify that the change was saved. Check your available funds ahead of the next charge.

Sapphire subscriptions renew automatically for the same term at the fees then in effect. To stop a website-bought subscription from renewing, go to profile icon → Account settings → Manage subscription → Cancel subscription. Cancellation leaves access through the paid term; Rosetta Stone’s terms do not provide a prorated refund for that term. If Apple or Google bills your subscription, cancel through the relevant store instead. The separate Classic instructions, including My Account → Turn off Auto Renew, are not the Sapphire cancellation route.

Trials and refund requests

Rosetta Stone describes a one-time seven-day Sapphire trial started in the app. If that option is offered to you, read the terms shown before starting: the trial converts to a paid Monthly subscription unless you cancel during the trial. Do not assume a trial is included with a website purchase or available in every location.

For a direct online Sapphire purchase, Rosetta Stone allows 14 days from purchase to request a refund. Contact Rosetta Stone with your account email or order number. Rosetta Stone says it can handle Google Play refund requests; Apple purchasers must request a refund from Apple. These Sapphire rules differ from refund information for Classic, so check which product and billing channel appear on your receipt.

FAQ

Can I use a Coinepay virtual card for Rosetta Stone Sapphire?

You can enter its card details at Rosetta Stone’s direct checkout, but acceptance is not guaranteed. Review any card or location requirements shown before paying.

Does the Sapphire Yearly plan charge me each month?

No. Yearly is billed once a year. A monthly equivalent shown on a pricing page does not divide the charge into monthly payments.

Where do I update the card for a website-bought Sapphire subscription?

On the Rosetta Stone website, open the profile icon, then Account settings → Manage subscription → Add payment method or Edit payment method → Confirm.

What should I do if my card is declined?

Check the full checkout amount against your available funds, recheck your card and real billing details, and complete any authentication prompt. Ask Rosetta Stone about checkout restrictions or Coinepay support about the card if the issue continues.

How do I cancel Sapphire before it renews?

For a website purchase, go to profile icon → Account settings → Manage subscription → Cancel subscription. Cancel Apple- or Google-billed subscriptions through the respective store.
