Magnific AI is an image and video upscaling and enhancement tool. Since Freepik announced its rename to Magnific on 28 April 2026, new sign-ups happen at magnific.com, while the older magnific.ai legacy service continues for people who already had an account there. This guide shows how to subscribe on magnific.com and pay with a Coinepay virtual card, and how to work through a declined payment. Always confirm current prices and plan names on Magnific's official pricing page before you buy, because they change by region and over time.
Before you start: what you need
A Magnific subscription renews automatically and is an online, cross-border, recurring charge. To pay smoothly you'll want:
- A verified Coinepay account. Register first at Coinepay and complete identity verification (KYC), which is required before card services are available.
- A Coinepay virtual card. Once issued, you'll see the card number, expiry date and CVV instantly in the Coinepay app or dashboard.
- Enough balance on the card to cover the plan plus any VAT or local tax. Magnific's pricing page notes that prices exclude VAT and local taxes, so the final charge can be higher than the headline figure.
- The billing details registered to your Coinepay card, especially the postal/ZIP code, so the address you type at checkout matches.
Magnific's payment help lists accepted methods as Visa, Mastercard, American Express and other major-network credit/debit cards, plus PayPal linked to a card or bank, Google Pay and Apple Pay. It also states that cards must permit online, international and recurring payments. If you are unsure your card meets this, contact Coinepay support to confirm before you subscribe. Services related to virtual assets are not available to residents of mainland China, and some services aren't offered in every jurisdiction.
Step 1: Create your Magnific account
- Go to magnific.com and choose Sign in.
- Register with your email, Google or Apple. Registration gives you the Free tier so you can look around before paying.
- Use your real name and details that match your identity and billing information.
Step 2: Choose a plan
Magnific's help center lists Free, Premium, Premium+, Pro, Business and Enterprise. The public individual pricing cards name Premium, Premium+ and Pro Starter, with the Pro card also offering a higher-credit option. Business is for teams and Enterprise is sales-managed.
At the time of writing (October 2026), the euro pricing page showed Premium at €16 monthly or €12/month billed annually; Premium+ at €36 or €27; and Pro Starter at €88 or €66, all excluding VAT. Some US-dollar results showed different figures. Because the displayed currency and amount can vary by region and by when you open the page, treat these as examples only and read the live price on Magnific's own pricing page before confirming.
- Open the pricing page and compare Premium, Premium+ and Pro Starter.
- Pick monthly or annual billing. Annual is cheaper per month but charges the full year up front and, for Magnific.com plans, has no partial refund for unused months.
- Select the plan to continue to checkout.
Step 3: Pay with your Coinepay virtual card
- At checkout, choose to pay by card.
- Enter your Coinepay card number, expiry date and CVV exactly as shown in the app.
- Enter the billing name and address, including the postal/ZIP code, that match your Coinepay card details.
- If your bank or the card prompts a 3-D Secure authentication step, complete it. Approve the confirmation in the Coinepay app or follow the prompt so the payment isn't left half-finished.
- Confirm. Magnific's payment help notes it charges in EUR and warns that your bank may add conversion or foreign-transaction fees, so the amount leaving your card may differ slightly from the listed figure.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date, so keep enough balance on the card for each cycle.
Step 4: Find invoices and manage billing
On magnific.com, open the profile menu, then Plan & billing → Subscriptions (one help article calls this area My subscription) to update your payment or billing details and open Billing history with downloadable PDF invoices. If you hold an older magnific.ai legacy subscription instead, log in there and select Billing to reach Stripe's billing portal; the two services keep separate accounts and subscriptions, and new users cannot sign up on the legacy site.
Troubleshooting: card declined and other errors
Magnific documents several checkout messages. Here's how to approach the most common ones.
| Message | Likely cause | What to try |
|---|---|---|
| Insufficient funds | Card balance below the total, including VAT and any fees | Top up your Coinepay card in the app, then retry. |
| Card declined / Transaction blocked by bank | Card settings or a security check | Confirm the card allows online, international and recurring payments; retry, then contact support. |
| Invalid zip/postal code | Billing address mismatch | Re-enter the exact postal code tied to your Coinepay card. |
| 3D Secure / authentication failed | The verification step wasn't completed | Approve the prompt in the Coinepay app, keep the window open, and retry. |
| Expired card | Card past its expiry date | Check the expiry in the app or use a current card. |
| Action timed out / Network error | Connection or browser interruption | Disable blockers, avoid proxies, refresh and try again. |
Magnific also documents PayPal Wallet error, PayPal funding source issue, Google Pay not available, URL confirmation not found and VAT number invalid format. Note that a PayPal balance alone is not accepted; PayPal must be linked to a card or bank. For a card-declined issue on the Coinepay side, open the Coinepay app to check your balance and card status, or reach Coinepay support through the Telegram channel.
A note for users in India
Magnific states that in India some cards cannot handle recurring payments, bank authentication may be required, changing a payment method mid-subscription may be unavailable, and UPI and local wallets are not supported for its direct subscriptions. If you're subscribing from India, confirm your card supports international recurring charges before you buy. Payment-method availability also varies by bank, region, browser and app store, and a country-by-country list of where Magnific can't be purchased was not available at the time of research.
Cancellations and refunds
To stop the next renewal on magnific.com, go to profile → Plan & billing → Danger zone — Cancel a subscription. Paid access continues through the current period, and cancelling does not by itself issue a refund. For a refund you can request one within 30 days of the current-period payment from your account email, but only if you made no downloads from Magnific.com or Flaticon.com and used no AI credits in that period; annual plans have no partial refund for unused months. Unused extra-credit packs may be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Subscriptions bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play use those stores' own cancellation and refund processes. Legacy magnific.ai has separate terms, so don't assume the 30-day policy applies there.

FAQ
Which Magnific plan should I pay for?
Individual options shown on the pricing page are Premium, Premium+ and Pro Starter, with higher tiers (Business, Enterprise) for teams and sales. Compare them on Magnific's official pricing page, since names, currency and prices vary by region and over time.
Will my Coinepay virtual card work with Magnific?
Magnific accepts major-network credit/debit cards but requires cards that permit online, international and recurring payments. Enter your Coinepay card details at checkout, and if you're unsure the card meets those requirements, contact Coinepay support to confirm before subscribing.
Why was my card declined at Magnific checkout?
Common causes are insufficient balance, a billing address or postal-code mismatch, incomplete 3-D Secure authentication, an expired card, or bank security blocks. Check your balance and card status in the Coinepay app, correct the detail flagged, and retry.
In what currency does Magnific charge?
Magnific's payment help states it charges in EUR and warns that your bank may add conversion or foreign-transaction fees. The exact checkout currency and amount can vary by region, so confirm the total on the checkout screen before paying.
How do I cancel my Magnific subscription and get a refund?
On magnific.com, go to profile, Plan & billing, then Danger zone to cancel; paid access runs to the end of the period. A refund can be requested within 30 days of the current-period payment only if you made no downloads and used no AI credits that period.
